Hi, Is there any way to add a sorting parameter to these side bars? IFS doesnt recognize that 2 digits are less than 3 digits   

I am using IE to create Lobby Elements for Aurena.  I am trying to create a Lobby Element for Active Work Orders that are 90 days or older.  The Actual Start date field in IE is REAL_S_DATE.The Actual Start Date field in Aurena is RealSDate In IE, on the Data Source Designer, I can set up Condition to beREAL_S_DATE < to_date ('#NOW#', 'YYYY-MM-DD-HH24:MI:SS' ) -90and it works in IE.  If I try to create the Lobby Element for Aurena using the same Data Source, I get an X.  How do I set up the Condition for Aurena?  Does the field name need to be changed to match the one is Aurena?  How do I search for Work Orders that are 90 Days or older on the Active Work Order screen in Aurena?Is this correct? Thanks,Gregg 

Hi All, We are using APPS 8 SP1, In our environment we are using LDAP authentication.While we are using the IFSAPP credential for login to the application, initially we got 3-4 time operation time out after that application login.But the other application users which are authenticate to LDAP, they are not facing any issue.Can any one suggest me, what will the issue of this.

IFS Cloud - I am looking at a request to have a Functional structure and also a Location structure for assets. My pre-conception was that a Location Structure is a different view of the same assets based around a concept of locations. However, this looks to be wrong.  What is the functional purpose and use of a Location structure, that cant be better served utilising the Functional structure , possibly with connections, using map positions etc.  My expectation is that this Location structure will not be visible on MWO as I have not seen it there before.  Any examples of using a Location Structure usefully will be much appreciated.        

Background: A month ago, we updated our MAINT calendar to not skip weekends and holidays.If a monthly PM Action is supposed to be due on the first of a month, but if it was generated prior to the MAINT calendar change, its Maintenance Plan will show some due dates that are on the 2nd or 3rd of a month (if the 1st was a weekend of a holiday).In such a case, I used the “Regenerate Plan” option and the future due dates are all corrected to the first of a month, as expected.What is UNexpected, however, is that PAST maintenance plan entries (with Due Dates that are NOT on the first of a month) are added to the maintenance plan after the REgenerating.For example, the Maintenance Plan tab (prior to REgenerating) had a line with Due Date =1/1/2022 (Saturday), which is good. After I used the “Regenerate Plan” RMB option, in addition to that line, IFS now shows another line under the Maintenance Plan tab with Due Date = 1/3/2022 (Monday), this line unnecessary.Why does it do it? Hello, Whenever I create a PM action, My maintenance Plan does not generate automatically, nor when I click regenerate.I am creating my PM actions with and without a Work Task Template. I can create Work Orders, but if I try to create more than one, it uses the same date range as the first WO.Any insight or suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you, Gen 

When you are in work task template there are two fields available that both are called “Created by” and gives different search results. When using advanced search i can see that one is connected to “CreatedById” and one to “DoneBy”. This makes me confused since i cant find information about “DoneBy”. I think this is difficult to understand and very confusing for customers.1. Using search condition “created By” that is connected to CreatedById2. Using search condition “created By” that is connected to DoneBy

When creating a New Database task for PM Calendar generation, I have seen examples for the Start and Stop Date being added.  Some of the examples I have seen are actual dates:Question:1- Are these dates actually needed on the Database Task?  When you create a New Schedule, you can add the Start and Stop Dates on that page.2 - Can these dates be in the past (as shown in the screenshot)? Would this prevent any PM Actions outside the Start and Stop Date being generated? or does the date on the New Schedule override these dates?3 - Can you just have SYSDATE and SYDATE+7 for the Start and Stop Dates? Thanks,Gregg 

We have recently implemented automatic reservations in our system for customer orders to attempt to give customers a better real time knowledge of our inventory availability. We are currently reserving blanket orders 60 days out due to items with longer lead-times, while all other orders 365 days out to capture anything that may have got an extended lead time due to supply chain issues. We are experiencing issues in that we are increasing inventory levels by so much due to the amount of blanket orders we service and this is putting a stress on our total inventory value. Have you or other customers used automatic reservations and how has it affected your business? Do you have solutions or tips for ways to handle automatic reservations better?

Hello all,One of the deliverables on the implementation of Asset Management (Service and Maintenance in IFS) is to get insight in future activities.Now I know it is possible to generate Work Tasks, which we could summarize and present. But I don't believe this would suit the request for a Long Term Maintenance Plan.Such a plan (I imagine) would give an overview of larger maintenance activities (overhauls/ revisions/ modifications etc.). Could someone please assist me on this topic? Thanks in advance!Wout

A service quotation is created and a work order was connected to service quotation using the connect service option, a task template was connected with work order, which got populated on the service quotation as well, service quotation is in released status, then status of Work task template is changed to obsolete and created a new revision of work task template. Now if we try to create new revision of the Service Quotation, we are getting error, that task template is obsolete and its not allowing to disconnect the work order from quotation, nor we are able to change the task template on work order

in the resource demands or in work task template/ PM action resources we can enter ‘additional qualifications’ by RMB option. Then the additional qualifications check box will be checked for the demand line. Other than that, how do we find out about additional qualifications that are required for an employee? when we ‘assign work’ the certificate requirement is not taken as a constraint. ( we can assign to any employee in resource group).  So when we do the work assignment how can we find out which employees has the certificate ( or not!) in a resource group?  

Hi,We are on Update 12. I created and progressed the Repair Work Order and stuck at the stage where I need to place Serial Object to structure to change position from Issued to InFacility.When I use RMB on Report In Work Order → Place Serial in Equipment Structure and pick Functional Object against which I want to place it I get the error message “Object is already used in a PM Action or Work Order”. I have Work Orders against this Serial but they all either Finished or Cancelled. Surely it cant stop me to send equipment back to customer if I was fixing this part before?

There is a work Order Connected to Project. In the Materials tab, I change the Suppy Code from Project Inventory to Invent Order, and We have an option to create Purchase Requisition (Create Multiple Purchase Requisition Lines). PR is converted to PO and while at the time of Receiving the PO, we are getting the Error Message: Inventory Part in Stock does not exist.Any help in this regard is appreciated.

Hi all.Could someone help me to understand the answer_set logic?I have a MWO survey that has been answered 4 times in the same day by the same employee.But the answer set has repeated 2 times.If this logical is correct, How could I group a snwer set in this situation?I thought the logic was 1,2,3,4 At the end of the day, I need to create a quickreport setting a parameter with one of the answers like the example bellow.I’m using this way in the select to do this but considering the answer set.min(v2.item_description) over (partition by c.emp_no,  trunc(c.DATE_CREATED), c.answer_set ) as carTks a lot for help

Hi All.How to scrap an object with a canceled work order with “not done” task step?I have some canceled work orders and there are some task steps wih not done status and the system does not allow to scrap the object and I can not reopen the work order.Tks a lot

But having looked the responses it doesn’t appear that was for the latest IFS version so I cannot find the page specified in those answers. I want to delete original Object Group, but I have this error:“The Fa Object Group is used by 1 rows in another object (Fa Ogrp Met Per Book)”There is no object created yet, and I don’t know what I have to do because “Fa Ogrp Met Per Book” doesn’t mean anything, and there is no menu with “Book” or “Ogrp” when I use the search bar…And no, Ogrp is not an error, it’s exactly what is written…Thanks a lot

Measurements for Object Meter Change IssueA serial object had an incorrect meter value entered using the change meter function - now the total value is too high and everything we try to fix it, just keeps increasing the value more/won’t register as a valid transaction. We need to reduce the accumulated value - should be total value of 7046. It doesn’t let you go back and mark meter readings as incorrect when there is a meter change out after it.

Hi,I’d like to manage several equipments trees (function and location for example). I know we can do it with IFS Cloud and previous versions but I’ve just seen it seems we have limitations with all trees except the “function” one.I explain:I want to manage a hierachy (Function tree) with Technical lot/Sub Technical Lot/Equipment Type/EquipmentIn this strucutre, I’ll have a “water tank” (functional object) in the Sub Technical Lot level and its child “pump01” (serial object) in the equipment level. Moreover, I also want to have a separate tree for locations so I’ve decided to use the “Location” tree.The hierarchy would be Site/Ground/Zone/Building/Floor/local However, I’m facing an issue because I’d like to place the serial object “Pump01” under “Building” level but IFS does not allow me to do it (there is NO structure zone in the serial object record). It means I must move both the parent (functional object) and its child to have it in this kind of tree.Finally I’ll have the Water Tank
