Hi @Patrick ,

Bit unclear what you are exactly referring to and hope the below definitions helps.

  1. Time reports -

A tab to view or enter time spent by person/s and tool/equipment used to execute work.  It is possible to define the Resource TypeResource GroupResource ID and Hours to report time spent by any other resource. Once time has been reported, relevant work task transactions will be created for the reported time with transaction type Person or Tool/Equipment.

For service related activities the Time Type can be specified, so that sales lines are created with relevant price information.

In Retrospective Work Reporting - EAM or Retrospective Work Reporting - SM forms, if Hours Spent is defined in the General tab, a time report will be created for the hours spent for the resource defined as Performed By. `

  2. Work leader -

A dialog box used to assign a work leader to multiple work orders at the same time. This feature facilitates the distribution of responsibility for further planning of the work orders.

It is only possible to assign a work leader to multiple work orders if the work orders belong to the same site. The List of Values can be used to select an employee valid for the site on the work orders. When you click OK the signature of the given work leader will be applied to the selected work orders.

Much helpful if you can attach 2 screenshots of the fields that you are referring to. So that we can provide you a proper explanation

Best regards,

Supun.

Hi,

You will note in the Time Report, am appearing but not the executed of task.

On other hand who is the work leader, the supervisor, or the executor of the task?

Who is supposed to appear on the Time report before finishing the work order?

Hi,

The Time Report is designed to initially create a time for you as the logged in user. However you can report time for someone else by changing the Employee ID.

It should be the executor of the work that should be referenced on the time report. If the executor is logging into the system himself/herself then it is just to create a time report line and enter the hours worked. If he/she is not logging into the system then someone else (could be the supervisor) needs to enter the time report and then also change the Employee ID to the correct one.

Finally, the Work Leader is the supervisor in your example. This is more of an information field (there is a connected functionality when using Permits, where the Work Leader on the work needs to be the same as the stated Permit Work Leader in order to connect the Permit to the Work Order).

Hope I answered your questions.
