Can anyone tell me how to create an entity filter for Mobile Work Order, so my technicians only see the work orders for their default site? I tried this WHERE clause (see screenshot) but it is not working: CONTRACT = #USER_DEFAULT_SITE# OR (USER_ID = #USER_ID#)

Our security grants in Mobile Applications are for MainEngApp 24 . Many of our users mobile clients have been updated to v25, but not all of them. What impact does this have on performance of the mobile application? Do we need to create a new application within IFS for v25 and grant security to it? 

Hi All, In standard Work Orders, we have the possibility to create a ‘new Service Quotation’ from the WO. In that way, the customer can agree to the work before we start the work and there is no discussion when invoicing them later on. Does the same functionality exist for a “New Repair RMA”? We have a customer where a customer initiates a RMA process by reporting a fault, the RMA is created and the Equipment is sent back into a QA location. And inspection is done and we define the parts/resources that need to be done in order to repair the Equipment (all of it is logged into the Repair Bench).  But before we actually start repairing, we want to sent a quotation to the customer explaining the details of the repair and the price associated with the repair. Ideally, the applicable sales part lines from the Repair Bench would be copied to that quotation. Best RegardsRoel

In 25R1, we are attempting to incorporate Public Holidays into the planning allocations for Work Tasks.We have created the Schedule Exceptions and linked them to a Calendar.The same Calendar has also been linked to both the Site and the Resource Individual.However, within the Resource Monitoring Gantt, the Public Holiday is still not being recognised.Notice how the Saturday and Sunday is treated as a non-working day, we want the same for Public Holidays.     

" OccurrenceA numerical value representing the probability that each failure will happen on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 representing most likely."in IFS this value is for cause, so why it writes in help such that?and if any cause has occurrence score why it said in help that  Most failures have only one cause but some may have multiple causes

I see a lot of mentioning of "IFS Operational Intelligence" in both marketing material as well as in roadmap, anyone with a description? Is this a concept? Technical components? Best RegardsAnders

The customer has been upgraded to version 25R1 and observed that several triggers in the Scheduling Optimization Triggers window are currently in a disabled state.In the core application, these triggers are available starting from version 24R1 and are also delivered in a disabled state.The customer’s concern is whether these triggers should remain as they are or if they need to be manually enabled.Additionally, they would like to understand if there is any impact in keeping these triggers disabled.Any information will be greatly appreciated.   Thank you,Madushani 

Hi,With the Maintenance Planner Resource Management lobby, where does Date Range come from? Can this be configured to just look at one day/one week/two weeks?1 day horizon.When I change the planning horizon as well, the graph does not change.30 day horizon.Thanks!

Having a customer that run Cloud and are using Maintenance (not service) and Assignments/Allocations for Work tasks.When they have a work order with several work tasks and all tasks will be assigned to the same person they use the functionality ‘ assign multiple tasks’. So far so good. When they pick ‘Person’ and open the drop list for resources they see ALL Person resources they have for Maintenance. Doesn’t matter which Resource group or Maint org the work order/task having or which Resource group or Maint org the Resource person belongs to.If they are using assignment per work task, only person connected to current Resource group or Maint org are available.Anyone having the same issue?Anyone know how to solve it?

Hi all,When I try to create a new work order using “Report a Problem” in both Tech Portal and Mobile, I receive the error below.Environment: EAM 25R2Errors observed:AttributeList OBJKEY not found in metadata ETag is missing in created entity NewWorkVirtual A JsonWebToken Principal can't be injected because one is not available. Protect the requesting resource so authentication occurs before the resource is accessed.Please find the full log attached.I am using the owner user.If I fill in the Object field, the problem occurs.However, the process works correctly if I leave the Object field empty on the last screen.Has anyone faced a similar issue, or does anyone know what could be causing this?Thanks. 

There is an error message when I try to return a part from a work task that has a mandatory expiration date. Has anyone figured out a good way to handle. I have seen this happen in apps 10 through 25R2. 

When you activated Supplier Warranty on the Work Order before you book cost (time,material) on the Work Task the additional Sales Lines will be created and works fine.But when you want activated the Supplier Warranty, later into the proces when already cost are booked like time & material, there will be No additional Sales Lines created.Is there a possibilty to add Supplier Warranty when the Work Order/Work Task is on the status Work Done and aslo create the additional Sales Lines on IFS Cloud 24.2.3

We are in IFS Version 10We have user’s that are receiving shipped parts in the field.  We would like an Aurena screen that the user can go to a scan a barcode to look up the part and mark it received.Can this be done on an Aurena screen?Can we use the Scan It application via web browser in chrome or edge? 

When creating a new fault report as an field technician,  it is possible to add media and/or document pictures to the fault report. Even from offline status.  This is one of the most important function when reporting a fault report. However this will not sync to ifs cloud, and just gives errors  “Illegal number value (−1) for attribute ACTIVE_SEPARATE.WO_NO” Tried to add picture as a document for a workaround, but same problem. I have found earlier post of the problem in the forum, but no solutions. Seems to me that the procedure for Media/document attachment dont wait for return of created values for WO/WO Task, so tem ID = -1. Anyone have som insight to this? I have found that the service app, kan do this, but only when Online if i understand correctly. 

According to earlier topic: Attach media file when creating fault report | IFS Community We are mainly using the wizard “New fault report” for regestring new work orders. Often we have a need to attach a picture to the fault report. But it is not possible to do it in the wizard. So today the user has to first create the fault report and later go to prepare work order and attach the picture.  I suggest these wizards to be configurable in a way there it would be possible to add elements for file/media attachments. If not, these elements  should be included in the standard wizard?

Hello All, We are having an issue with IFS objects and GIS connections. Hoping for a resolution.We have one base layer and one feature layer, and they have been added to a layer group and we can see the objects using the GIS MAP page. We want to see the “object” from the Functional Objects page, and we have followed the documentation ( Page name = Functional Object;  Label = View Map ; Page = page/GISMapClient/MapPage; NavigateFilter = { LuName = 'EquipmentFunctional', KeyRef = $[KeyRef]}                        KeyRef did not work well - so we tried using MchCode as well.                                                     With MChCode, the link has the correct object id (25057)        {page/GisMapClient/MapPage;$filter=LuName%20eq%20'EquipmentFunctional'%20and%20KeyRef%20eq%20'25057';path=0.1632440489.1043127562.1054673758}. Dear All,For one of the customer we are using the EAM functionality where we are trying to executed Multicompany time reporting scenario on Work Task. There is also usage of travel resource group on the resource.Without creating employee in the secondary companies and utilizing primary company employee id in the ‘Active Secondment Employee ID’ field on resource will pick work task resource group and set the cost to Zero. In this case application will not consider the travel resource group.If employee id is created in the secondary companies, the application will pick up the travel resource group for travel part and work task resource group for second time report record. Which is correct. This was tested from IFS cloud without use of MWo. Hello Everybody,have anybody tried to setup the FASN up to comply with ISO 14224 ??? we have made our own solution in IFS8 but enabled the Item class etc in IFS 10 for setting this up in accordance with IFS, but doesnt really seem to be able to make the ISO 14224 “Multilevel” reporting … ??

Hi All, I am trying to setup the "Enable Navigation from IFS to GIS Map" for Functional Objects but am having little joy. I have setup the button to the best of my abilities as per this document About GIS Map (ifs.com) However the instructions are not correct for NavigateFilter. I have used the tool to add the filter "LuName eq 'EquipmentFunctional', KeyRef eq $[KeyRef]" but when I click on the View Map button it opens the map but does not select or zoom to the asset. Commonly known rules in PM actions are “If the actual object does not exist, and the task is connected to a PM Group, pre posting values are copied from the PM Group (if they exist). So, if an object exists the pre posting is taken from there.”In our case:Customer is using IFS version 24.2.10. They have code string B = Cost center and code string F = Object in Code Patr Info in Functional object.When calendar generating PM action, Work Task gets both code strings to the Work Task as Pre posting from Functional object. As it should.But if they have PM actions with PM Group (without Merge), work tasks Pre postings get only code string B = Cost center in calendar generation with PM group.So, it seems that other than code string F is not coming from Functional object to Work task, if PM action has PM group and it is used in calendar generation. If work order is generated direct from the Maintenance plan line (from one of the pm actions with group) Pre postings gets both code strings as it

Hello,maybe someone can clarify for what purpose the tab “Work Orders” is needed in the form “Isolation Order”?Work orders there are attached only manually. If Work Order is connected to Isolation Order via Permit, the information of such Work Order doesn’t appear in this tab. Such connection is seen only in the form “Work Orders, Permits and Isolation Orders”, but not on Isolation Order.So I do not understand for what purpose this tab is needed in Isolation Order. Connections of Isolation Order and Work Orders that are made in this tab doesn’t apply any rules for Isolation Order and Work Orders dates too.

Hi All,We are using IFS MWo Maintenance app (and not the classic app) for one of the customer. We have created a custom field for barcode on IFS Cloud as well as on MWo app. Each functional object has a unique barcode associated with it. On the MWo app the barcode field is available on work task overview once we click on the ‘My Work’ tile. The customer we are implementing is into service industry where technician will visit their customer premises and will first scan the barcode affixed on the asset in MWo to filter out the work tasks associated with that specific asset.Our observation is that on the search functionality @ records in ‘My Work’ tile on the app version 26.4.3723.0 available on IOS app store has scanner icon, where as app version 26.4.3728.0 on android app store doesn't. Due to this we cant scan the barcode on the android device.Please advice is there is fix or app configuration for latest version 26.4.3728.0 on android as barcode scanning is working on IOS app version 2
