Hi All, The FSM application schedule board task is overlapping on existing calendar exception and this is the current behaviour of the FSM application. However,  If two task scheduled on the same time slot. its getting appear on different rows. but, if there is a task and calendar exception on same time. its getting appear on  same row.     The overlapping task and calendar exception is a bad user experience for end users. Therefore, could you please consider this enhancement request and implement this in future FSM versions. Thanks,Pasan Pramuditha

We have a request to scrap a large number of parts with the information being provided via an Excel file.  I have been trying to call the inventory_part_in_stock_api scrap_part procedure after first using the find_part procedure. When calling find_part I get the results I expect.  However, using the same information to try to call scrap_part always returns a part in stock does not exist.  This is the exact error message. Could someone guide me on where to find the information necessary to properly call this API procedure? Thank you in advance!

Issue: The 'Part No' LoV in the 'Serial To Place' section of the 'Place Serial in Equipment Structure' window displays parts other than those issued for the specific work task. Steps to re-create the issue:Go to ‘Prepare Work Order’ window and create a work order and work task.Select work task and go the Details.Add a ‘Material’ line to the work task. Please note that we should add a ‘serial part’.Select the material line and click ‘Issue Manually’.Select relevant ‘Serial No’ to issue. ​​​​​​​Select ‘Execute Work Task’. ​​​​​​​Select ‘Place Serial in Equipment Structure’.You can notice that the 'Part No' LoV in the 'Serial To Place' section of the 'Place Serial in Equipment Structure' window displays parts other than those issued for the specific work task. 

Hi All,When a Serial Object is connected to a fixed asset (Code Part section on Serial Object Page - General Tab) and the serial object is scrapped does this kick off a process of scrapping the connected Fixed Asset? ThanksDarrin

Customer would like to only have 1 option when creating New Work from MWO Maintenance app. I and my colleagues have hunted around in Page Designer (1st image) to see where we could do this and the closest we came was trying to set an Enumeration Filter (2nd image), but when I set the value for the desired option (3rd image), I cannot save my selection (4th image). Not even sure if the Enumeration Filter is the right place to accomplish our requirement. Any help?(1) (2) (3) (4)  

I need some help regarding a flow. we have 3 Design objects as below, where PIPE01 and PIPE 02 are connected to a parent design object called "FAB_PIPE-PACKAGE". so those are still in Design object as status Under Design. PIPE01 and PIPE 02 has materials connected as SPOOL 1 and SPOOL2 as additional parts (and I want them to be added in work task as material demands.)   Now I need to create a work order and send to b2b portal. can we create a one wo for parent design object and add 2 tasks for child design objects each PIPE01 and PIPE02 and then can we get materials in to each work task as SPOOL1 and SPOOL 2 ? The expectation is to handle the work tasks through b2b portal after tender is approved..Design Object status- Under design (can we handle this flow from that status?)Need work tasks for each PIPE01 and PIPE02.what is the best solution for the above scenario.

How do we add a list of values in a quick selection option by clicking on the selector menu in App 10?  I want to add a list of value to this 3 dots section in  

What is the purpose of the Make Maintenance Aware button on the Serial Object screen?  Isn’t the Serial Object already Maintenance Aware when it is created?CloudIE When selected, all I get is a blank Serial Maintenance Aware screen. Just curious,Gregg

During moving serial objects from one object to another we get a Signature field with a list of values which are probably nothing but users/employees.Do we know how to restrict this because there can be a possibility where user updates this field with someone else’s signature which is ethically wrong? 

Hi Everyone, I’ve noticed that during event generation, I consistently receive the same work order numbers. 🤔 This is a event based PM.Problem: The identical work order numbers are unexpected and could disrupt our maintenance processes.Seeking Clarification: Have you encountered this issue? Hi Experts, One of our customers has requested an option to delete a person's exception directly from the schedule board. Currently, users have to navigate to the person screen to remove the exception. Could you please check above enchantment request and try to implement this in future update. Thanks.

Hi,I wonder if anyone have used Supplier Warranty on a workorder in Cloud 23R2 . When trying to use Supplier warranty I don’t manage to have it working.On the warranty I have marked that the material should be paid by the supplier and that the personal cost should be paid by us. I have added the supplier on the Parties tab and added the warranty for the same supplier under the warranty function as well as on the workorder.After setting the workorder to work done I can see that the issued material have created two lines under the Sales tab (and that is the way is should be) but the time report have created a line as well under the sales tab with a invoice value and that is not according to the warranty. After moving to Conclude work order view and created an Invoice Preview the line for personnel cost is still visible and marked with a sales price and included in the invoice.My expectation is that the personnel should not be included in the invoice to the supplier after not marked it in

As I see, that when parameter type is Accumulated, then system allows to register measurement value in one of the fields: New Delta Value" or "New Reading Value" - both of them are active:Is really it should be like that? When parameter type is Limited, then only the field “New Reading Value” is active for filling in, and it is ok.Why for parameter type Accumulated are active both fields? In our opinion should be active only “New Delta Value”.We tried to register measurement information for the same test point one time in one field, the other time in the other field and do not understand the rules how calculation of “Last Value”, “Last Data Value” and “Total Value” is executed in such cases:When parameter type is Accumulated, the measurement is registered as “Preliminary Recording” if at least one time measurement result was registered in the field “New Reading Value” (i

We are migrating fixed assets for one of our companies which has different acquisition values for group and local books. We tried putting in lower value as acquisition without a book value, then adding an adjustment for the book with the higher value but this did not work. Has anyone successfully imported acquisition values which differ by depreciation book?

Hi allI'm working with Linear Assets in IFS Cloud and I can't find the Linear Assets tab in the Work Order.In the MP action when creating using Linear Asset Connection Type this tab is enabled. I expected this behavior in the Work Order.When printing the Work Order, the information on this tab is available.Regards,

Hi All,  I am planning a work order on an equipment object with an associated manufacturing work order.  My WO has an Obstructive Operation status and I am warned that the Work Task may interfere with planned Shop Orders.  I can see that the correct work centre is listed in the prepare tab.  I have shop order operations planned for the same time as the planned dates in the Work Order.   I cannot seem to see the planned load on the Work Centre where it shows that a Work Order is planned to be executed.  Is anyone able to point me in the right direction as to what I may be missing?

Hi Everyone,I am currently experiencing an issue in the "Prepare Work Order > Requisitions" process. When creating a requisition for a non-inventory purchase part, the system generates a planning line. As we proceed to process the Purchase Requisition (PR) and convert it into a Purchase Order (PO), and subsequently register the arrival for the PO, cost lines are created against the work task.However, if we need to cancel the receipt and the PO, and then reopen the requisition, we encounter a problem. When attempting to delete the PR line, the system displays an error stating that the PR line is connected to a cost line. Furthermore, changing the status of the work task to "Finished" triggers the same error message.This seems like a potential bug to me. Has anyone else encountered this issue, or does anyone have insights on how to resolve it?Thank you in advance for your help!

Hello, Does anyone know if it is possible to get the default location for a Inventeory part when returning a material to inventory from a Work task? In this example part no 098050 has a default location (it works for register arrival on a purchase order) When I try to return it on a work task I must search for the location. Here, it should be pre filled the default location in my opinion. Thanks

Hi IFS Guru I am trying to down load in excel the list of Work Tasks through Work Tasks through following  pathin Excel format, all the tables was downloaded except the Resource Group description is not appearing in the List  through Column chooser  , is there any way around to appear (Resources Group description for each Task) in List View Setting  then I can include this through Column Chooser and  get this downloaded from Work Tasks list into excel format   We are using IFS Cloud Web version: 22.2.8.20230509084539.0. Appreciate your help on this ! Regards Shez

Does anyone have experience with this and can talk about it?Currently came across a project thatFor the customer，subway vehicles are also assets and are also regularly maintained and serviced. While IFS MRO can manage VIM structures, IFS MRO is more like a service for the aviation industry. The customer is receptive to customized development and has a good budget.So whether to enable Asset Management (EAM) or MRO, I don't know which to choose.
