Hi everyone, when created a resource line where demand type is tools/equipment , after time reporting , in the cost line the cost type is coming as personnel ,But when directly reporting time for tools and equipmentthe cost line shows tools and equipment.I understand this could be something basic but I do not know the logic, can anyone please explainregards

Hi All!I’d like to move a functional object (not serialized) from a site to another inside the same company. Any ideas are welcome on this subject. I know it’s unusual on IFS but not in industry.I’d like also to transfer all historical datas of the object wherever the object is transferred.Thank to all your advices

Knowledge Base article KB0062660 says the issue with the Start Date field not updating PM Actions from PM Action is fixed in 23R2 and later releases. We’re on 23R1 SU16.Does anyone know if the Start Date field on PM Actions is able to update the field on PM Action (reverse of the knowledge base article) and if the format of the field is changed from Text to Date in 23R2 and later? 

In cloud Can the Work Order status can be set as auto Released, once the work order is created ?

 Hi IFS GuruWe have some PM WO such as Inspection and has a KPI  Nos. of CPM ( Corrective Preventive Maintenance).While performing this work we need to collate, how many times the CPM Work Order is created from the PM WO, We would like to create a follow-up work order for such CPM WO with reference to PM WO number . How do I do that?We are using IFS Cloud Version 21R2 Regards Shez

Hi all maintenance expert.My customer has a PM action triggered by condition (500h cumulative).Let’s say that any measurement had been done for a long time and the last value measured is 1600h (Delta).How to avoid creating all the WO (500h, 1000h, 1500h) that had been bypassed and create only the last one? All tips and ideas are welcome. Warmest regards   

Hello,I have noticed that six work orders are being generated every other day by a scheduler, and while the jobs and templates reference a PM, the maintenance plan itself does not contain such a work order. The concept of Rule ID is being utilized. Can anyone provide insight into the specific logic behind this situation?Your help is greatly appreciated.

Hello Community, for our tax book we need to deprecitat Fixed Asset object based on Declining depreciatin Method. Depreciation amount = depreciation rate x book value of the previous year.The depreciation rate is the same every year, for example 20 percent. The book value, on the other hand, is different every year and corresponds to the net book value at the beginning of the year. That is the rule:declining mehthod can be 2,5 times higer than linear method but maximal 25% of acquistion amount respect net valueSo we calculate, 100 / Lifetime * 2,5 result maximum 25%Example: 10 years depreciation, 100/10 = 10% *2,5 = 25% Example: 8 years deprecation, 100/8 = 12,5% *2,5 = 31,25% - Maximum 25%Example 15 years depreceation, 100/12 = 8,33*2,5 = 20,83% Actually we need to calculate in advance and select the method with the respctive factor. Is there a possibility to set up one depreciation mehtod that calcualtes that factor for us? regards Sebastian 

Hello All,I am encountering an issue with duplicate data in the Resource Analysis screen. For a given week, both PM Actions and Work Tasks are displayed. However, I have noticed that some PM Actions are appearing even after they’ve been converted into Work Tasks, leading to resource demand being counted in both sections. This results in a doubled demand for that week.Ex- PM Action 3665 is listed in the orange color list as shown below.The Work Task generated from the above PM Action 3665 is also listed in Work Task list in yellow color. Does anyone have insights into the potential cause of this? Hi All, The FSM application schedule board task is overlapping on existing calendar exception and this is the current behaviour of the FSM application. However,  If two task scheduled on the same time slot. its getting appear on different rows. but, if there is a task and calendar exception on same time. its getting appear on  same row.     The overlapping task and calendar exception is a bad user experience for end users. Therefore, could you please consider this enhancement request and implement this in future FSM versions. Thanks,Pasan Pramuditha

We have a request to scrap a large number of parts with the information being provided via an Excel file.  I have been trying to call the inventory_part_in_stock_api scrap_part procedure after first using the find_part procedure. When calling find_part I get the results I expect.  However, using the same information to try to call scrap_part always returns a part in stock does not exist.  This is the exact error message. Could someone guide me on where to find the information necessary to properly call this API procedure? Thank you in advance!

Issue: The 'Part No' LoV in the 'Serial To Place' section of the 'Place Serial in Equipment Structure' window displays parts other than those issued for the specific work task. Steps to re-create the issue:Go to ‘Prepare Work Order’ window and create a work order and work task.Select work task and go the Details.Add a ‘Material’ line to the work task. Please note that we should add a ‘serial part’.Select the material line and click ‘Issue Manually’.Select relevant ‘Serial No’ to issue. ​​​​​​​Select ‘Execute Work Task’. ​​​​​​​Select ‘Place Serial in Equipment Structure’.You can notice that the 'Part No' LoV in the 'Serial To Place' section of the 'Place Serial in Equipment Structure' window displays parts other than those issued for the specific work task.

Customer would like to only have 1 option when creating New Work from MWO Maintenance app. I and my colleagues have hunted around in Page Designer (1st image) to see where we could do this and the closest we came was trying to set an Enumeration Filter (2nd image), but when I set the value for the desired option (3rd image), I cannot save my selection (4th image). Not even sure if the Enumeration Filter is the right place to accomplish our requirement. Any help?(1) (2) (3) (4)  

I need some help regarding a flow. we have 3 Design objects as below, where PIPE01 and PIPE 02 are connected to a parent design object called "FAB_PIPE-PACKAGE". so those are still in Design object as status Under Design. PIPE01 and PIPE 02 has materials connected as SPOOL 1 and SPOOL2 as additional parts (and I want them to be added in work task as material demands.)   Now I need to create a work order and send to b2b portal. can we create a one wo for parent design object and add 2 tasks for child design objects each PIPE01 and PIPE02 and then can we get materials in to each work task as SPOOL1 and SPOOL 2 ? The expectation is to handle the work tasks through b2b portal after tender is approved..Design Object status- Under design (can we handle this flow from that status?)Need work tasks for each PIPE01 and PIPE02.what is the best solution for the above scenario.

How do we add a list of values in a quick selection option by clicking on the selector menu in App 10?  I want to add a list of value to this 3 dots section in  

What is the purpose of the Make Maintenance Aware button on the Serial Object screen?  Isn’t the Serial Object already Maintenance Aware when it is created?CloudIE When selected, all I get is a blank Serial Maintenance Aware screen. Just curious,Gregg

During moving serial objects from one object to another we get a Signature field with a list of values which are probably nothing but users/employees.Do we know how to restrict this because there can be a possibility where user updates this field with someone else’s signature which is ethically wrong? 

Hi Everyone, I’ve noticed that during event generation, I consistently receive the same work order numbers. 🤔 This is a event based PM.Problem: The identical work order numbers are unexpected and could disrupt our maintenance processes.Seeking Clarification: Have you encountered this issue?
