PM Actions Start Date Format and Function KB0062660
Knowledge Base article KB0062660 says the issue with the Start Date field not updating PM Actions from PM Action is fixed in 23R2 and later releases. We’re on 23R1 SU16.
Does anyone know if the Start Date field on PM Actions is able to update the field on PM Action (reverse of the knowledge base article) and if the format of the field is changed from Text to Date in 23R2 and later?

The issue "Start Date Field in the PM Action page is not updated when the Start Value Field in the PM Actions page is changed." is corrected in 23R2 and later releases. It was only a text field in PmActions page for this but now there are two fields (text and date) and one of them will be visible depending on the start unit field value.
Hi Pat,
Yes, it’s possible in both ways from IFS Cloud 23R2 and onwards.
Let me explain how it works in 23R2 version.
A new column “Start Date” has been introduced.
This field has the date picker option. However, the date picker will only be available if “Start unit = Day” and not for Month and Week.
How the system works when Start unit = Day
If you change the start value from PM Action, it will be updated in the PM Actions page as well.
If you change the start date from PM Actions, it will be updated in the PM Action page as well. However note that in PM Actions page, only start date column will be editable with date picker and start value field will be read only. Once you change start date in PM Actions page, it will update start value field in both PM Actions and PM Action pages.
How the system works when Start unit = Week / Month
If you change the start value from PM Action, it will be updated in the PM Actions page as well.
In PM Actions page, start date column will be read only. If any changes needs to be done it should be done in start value field (opposite of start unit day). Once you change the start value, it will be updated in the PM Action page as well. Once you change start value in PM Actions page, it will update start date field in PM Actions and start value field in PM Action pages.
