We are creating a Material Requisition (MRN). For example, if we create an MRN for an engine with a quantity of 2, when we create the asset numbers, the system creates the objects and links them through pre-posting.For the second engine, since there are two separate physical assets, how should we create and link the second asset number? Where should we do the posting for the second engine? For example, we create a Material Requisition (MRN) for 2 engines. Where and how should we perform the posting so that the second engine is linked to its respective asset/object number?Could you please clarify the correct process in IFS Applications 10 for handling multiple assets against one MRN line?

In IFS Developer Studio, I’ve got one module with a few entities and a couple utilities in it. Hi everybody, In Italy, the Quarterly Tax Liquidation Report should report in the field VP2 - Totale operazioni attive (al netto dell'IVA) (Total sales) the net amount of proper sales, without considering the net amount of the entries generated by Reverse Charge purchases,  but in field VP4 - IVA esigibile (Payable VAT) must contain the VAT amount of these operations. Had anyone found a way to generate the Quarterly Tax Liquidation Report in this way? Thank you,

Hello,My company is implementing IFS Cloud as our new ERP system.I am supporting our Engineering team in setting up product structures. We create the structures in Engineering Parts and then transfer them to the sites using the Engineering Revision Transfer process. The structure is based on a combination of parts with the acquisition codes Phantom and Make. We use the Phantom parts as "containers" for the Make parts. We have noticed that, for some structures, certain components are missing from the configuration structures after the transfer. In most cases, all parts with the Make acquisition code are transferred correctly and are visible in the Configuration Structure view of the transferred structure. However, in some cases, only 18 out of 23 Make parts appear in the configuration structure. What could be causing this issue? The settings for all parts are identical, and we always use the same transfer template. The missing components are also not visible when performing a detailed tran

Is there a way to design a GL Automatic Posting Rule around a Code Part Attribute? For example, we have an attribute of “Category” on our Project code parts. I’d like to set up a rule to post projects of a certain Category to a specific cost center. We have thousands of projects and only 5 attribute categories, so I’m hoping to define a rule around the attribute rather than at the individual project code part level. Appreciate any thoughts you have on this.

Hi,I have a number of lines in Project Revenue Postings that are stuck in Posting Status Valid. What is missing to get these to be transferred? The only selection available in this screen is Update Invoice Postings, which does not change anything.I am guessing some kind of BG job is missing?

Do we need to apply the Application service update or is it good enough to upgrade to the latest Framework service update released 17. September 2026? And can it be confirmed that the fix will be delivered on all version at 17. September 2026

Hello, One of our users is wondering if there is an “edit” shortcut. Some screens require scrolling to the top of the page to click the pencil for editing. Wondering if this exists or if I should create an idea. Thanks,Gen

Hello,We have noticed what appears to be a challenge with employee termination dates and Time Clocking in IFS Cloud. In Finland, an employee's last working day is typically the day when the employment is still active and the employee is expected to work and clock in. The employment relationship ends only after that day. However, when an employee's employment is ended in IFS Cloud with a specific end date, the employee is unable to clock in via Time Clocking on that same date.Example:Fixed-term employment ends on 31-Aug-2026. The employee should still be able to work and clock in on 31-Aug-2026. In IFS Cloud, the employee cannot clock in on that date because the employment appears to be considered inactive immediately on the end date. This creates a gap between local business/legal expectations and the system behavior.Questions:Is this the expected standard behavior in IFS Cloud? Is there a configuration setting that allows employees to remain active throughout the end date and become inac

I am trying to create a Report Rule with an Action to Check In To Document Management.  When I print the document, I can get the system to create a Document based on the Document Class.  I need to also connect to an LU.  The LU is a Document Folder.  If my Document Folder name is Supplier, how would I enter the information in the Connected LU field? The Documentation has the following for Connected LU:<u>ConnectedLU / KeyRef:</u> You can specify if the generated report should be attached to an application form as an attachment. In this case you have to specify the LU and key-value pair to uniquely identify an instance in the LU. For example, if you want to attach the 'Invoice' report, in to the 'Customer Invoice' form, you need to specify the LU as 'CustomerOrder" from the ConnectLU combobox and Invoice\_no as the key and a value for that key. You can hardcode a value or retrieve the value from a xpath. But I am unsure of what to enter…. Any help would be appreciated.Gregg

HelloThere are some new features in task planning in Demand Plan in IFS Cloud 25R2.I want schedule Rfresh IPR data. There are some new fields to fill out, but I haven't found any documentation on this topic. Can you help me please? Thanks.

I was trying to create a “Case” using My Call Center > New Case in IFS Cloud 26R1 environment. I observed a confusing behavior. I’ve added the test steps as below. Could you please look into them and let me know how can I solve this issue?Functional StepsI’ve used below steps to create a new case.Go to New Case using My Call Center (Relationship Management > My Call Center > New Case) added a Customer. For “Caller” section, “Caller Type” External is selected. External caller is selected from the LOV.  Make the toggle “Connect Object” TRUE, selected the “Customer Order” as the object.  I couldn’t enter the “Customer Order No”. The field “Customer Order” is not visible.  After, I’ve done below steps. Changed the “Caller Type” to “Internal”.  Selected the Customer Order as the object. Then “Customer Order” field is visible. Customer Order No is selected. At this point, the value in the “Caller” is not removed (refer below figure). After I changed the “Caller Type” value to “Extern

Is there a presentation or documentation available that is showing the IFS AI capabilities in different business areas?  There is some information in the product road map documents but would like to see a collective summery.

Hi! Can the purchasing department modify purchase requisitions created by the planning department directly on the requisition? We have a customer facing an issue after a change in the company structure. As part of the reorganization, document access rules were changed for individual users. The result is that newly assigned users can access newly created documents, but they do not automatically gain access to older documents that were created before the organizational change.Questions:What is the recommended way to handle this situation in IFS Document Management? Is there a standard approach to grant newly assigned users access to historical documents without manually updating existing document access records? For a new implementation, would it be considered a best practice to assign document access through groups/roles rather than individual users, so that future organizational changes do not create the same issue and new group members automatically gain access to both existing and future documents?Any experience or recommendations would be appreciated.

How do we determine the file size of documents that have been uploaded into Cloud? We are using the DocMan module, and the Document Revisions. But I can't see an easy way to determine the size of files uploaded.

Hello community, We are in IFS Cloud 24R2 and  we would like to upgrade to 25r2 Su9. I have a problem this yhe adjusted demand in forecast demand. The quantity in “adjusted demand” is changed by a process. I can't figure out why this happens or how to prevent it.This field is normally edited manuallyI get the impression that these changes are related to the qualification task. I came across a discussion about the adjusted demand, which can change depending on certain parameters. I’ve checked my database and everything’s fine. Thanks for you help

Is Group/Sum option in Advanced Search functionality available in IFS Cloud version? There are several topics posted covering this topic. As the below entries were few years old, I was hoping something might have changed in between. Can I know that, will this Group/Sum option included in upcoming cloud version. If it is already available, is there any material on how this is done?Missing Group/Sum option in IFS Cloud #GSDTECH# | IFS CommunityAdvanced search (i.e. group, count, sum, etc) | IFS Community One of IFS customers has raised this question again and In App9 & App10 user had the possibility to conduct advanced searches by grouping values and summarizing values in table views. They wants to know whether this will be included in a release in the near future. Business Impact: User will have to use longer methods to find information that is required. Thank You & Best Regards,

Hello, I am new to using IFS Cloud in the cloud. I have always used IFS on prem. I went through the necessary steps and have received the ability via ifsinfo and ifsdbreadonly to get into the database via sql developer to do some select statements. However, I am coming across the problem where I can only do a SELECT statement on some views and not others.EX: IFSAPP.CUSTOMER_ORDER returns nothing but IFSAPP.CUSTOMER_ORDER_ADDRESS returns normal information. There are many more examples. Why is this? Or how am I able to query all of the views without issue? Thanks, Eli

Hello, We are receiving an error ‘All created Analysis must be confirmed or cancelled before the operation no 10 is closed’ when trying to approve an operation on the shop floor workbench in IFS Cloud 25R2. This was the confirmed analysis associated with the operation. Why would this error be happening? Thank you.  Thanks,Jay

IFS Cloud 25R1 SU12, on-prem, Manufacturing. No Constraint-Based Scheduling. We have an existing Work Center 1 (a press). We are adding Work Center 2 (a kitting station) that will physically sit inside Work Center 1's operating area. Both take machine and labor clocking. They are separate work centers for costing and capacity reporting, but because they share the same floor space they cannot run shop orders at the same time. Initially Work Center 2 will run on the opposite shift. Later they may be physically separated.Standard infinite and finite scheduling treat each work center as its own capacity pool, so nothing stops a planner or the scheduler from placing an operation on each at the same time. Today the only control is the planner watching for it.What we are testing: separate work time calendars per work center covering only their shift, with Finite capacity on both, so the scheduler cannot overlap them. Fallback is a Quick Report that flags overlapping open operations on the two
