Hi, When printing the pick list, I would like to also print part labels at the same time. The goal is to identify the parts when picking: the operator goes to the location, takes the parts and puts a label on it. In the shipment type, you can have an event to print the handling unit labels. However, as we didn’t define Handling units yet, that’s no use. How can I do this? Thanks!
Hi All,The default Transport Task Report outputs task line serial numbers for the same part number as a single string instead of by transport task line id . The warehouse team would like an itemized report as displayed in the Transport Task window (similar to the pick list)I tried to create 2 custom fields for Quantity and Serial Number from the transport_task_line view but when adding these fields to Report Designer the data does not populate when previewing the report. I can see that the data is there when I query the custom field view. Any ideas?

I need to know the logic the utility uses to re-classify ABC Class on items. I just need to understand the calculations IFS uses to classify the ABC. I am trying to determine if it uses the total consumption value (based on Annual consumption value = Annual x Unit Cost) and calculates a cumulative percentage OR if it uses a weighted approach that assigns different weights to ‘value’ (annual consumption value) and usage frequency (how often an item is used) version and uses both total value and volume. Can anyone provide me the IFS it uses to reclassify the ABC classes. Also it is important to understand when is best to run this.. we just brought a separate company/site in Oct 23 but into the same company/site in June 2024. Will the ABC classification use only usage since June 2024? I do see on Inventory Part Availability Planning that the usage does show from last year, so would the ABC Classification see this and use that in their calculation? See IPAP example ThanksRachael
Hi,We get the following error message when creating a change order for a PO in IFS Cloud (23R1).We don’t use supplier schedules, and I have never seen this error message before.Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you
I need to search in Inventory parts the following:Safety stock >0Frequency Class: Very Slow Mover and Slow moverHow can I do that?
Hi, I am trying to create a lobby element to show demand vs current stock in specific locations instead of whole site. I have a data source that shows all current demand for site and to filter when demand qty > beginning onhand stock. I can’t figure out how to direct the search just to specific locations or warehouse.Have tried adding various API.get info arguments but can’t seem to get it right. Looking to have a value that will show Demand Qty > Stock in “X” location. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Hi All,Getting the below error when matching the receipts in a manual supplier invoice. Checked the following windows.Purchase order part lines tab. Purchase Order Charges tab. Purchase Order matching window. The receipt quantity is shown as 2 for the charges. Is there any reason for that to happen? Thank you.Kind regards,NishaniF
Hi!I have a question regarding the intrastat report. On Intrastat export lines the new requirement of having the Opponent Tax Id has been implemented as a bugfix via BUG 161186.Information for this new field is fetched from the customer order line and if empty from the customer order. The legal requirements of the field is that the reported Tax Id must follow the parts location - i.e. the Tax Id must be fetched from the Delivery Address, However IFS functionality is such that the TAX Id is fetched from Document Address. This is especially a problem if the customers delivery address is located in another country than the document address. Is there anyway I can resolve this? Am I missing something in the setup? Or is this a bug in IFS?
I recently came across a scenario wherein the Reserved/Picked/Connected Source Qty for a shipment line is greater than what is present on its source customer order. There is no ambiguity in Order lines history still unable to get how this happened. Has anyone faced this earlier? Pick by Choice option is already set to ‘Not Allowed’. This is Apps 10 version. Thanks.
The New Volume on Purchase Order Line seems not to be calculated correct when Inv UoM is not equal to Purch UoM.The line calculation is only done for 1 package and not for the total of the Quantity (BUY_QTY_DUE).Therefore the Net Volume on the Purchase Order Line is wrong and also the PO’s Total Net Volume. Master Part has default UOM : ST (pcs) and New Volume per “pcs” has a value. In the below example I would expect to have a Line total Volume Net 0,08 for Line No 1, and not 0,04 which is the value if buying only 1 package.Same issue also applies to the New Weight.Anyone having the same issue? Or how we missed anything in the BDR setup?
There’s a customer order, connected to a shipment. Each customer order line has a quantity of 6,336 (Approximately 6,000). The shipment has handling units, and each handling unit has a capacity of 96 units (approximately 100). The sales part is a serial part and total quantity is serialized. The following steps are performed.Manual reservation of customer order line - the quantity of 6,336 manually reserved in the form of handling units - Duration 1.5 minutesUnreserve customer order line - The total quantity reserved above, was unreserved - Duration - 2.15 minutesCreate pick list manually - A pick list was created for one order line manually. Even though the duration was 50 seconds, the create picklist activity keeps executing in the “Create pick list for customer orders” for about 3 minutes. But when I checked the shipment, the report picking option is enabled. Report picking of picklist lines (Pick by choice one Handling Unit) - Duration 2.1 minutes.Report Picking (Remaining quantity
Hello all,The customer I am working with will be using project roles as part of their purchase authorisation workflow. As part of our testing, we have purposefully not assigned or created project roles to understand the impacts of the authorisations if we have missing basic data. It is a concern that as a result of not having project roles/project roles assigned, the purchase order correcty identifies the authorisation rule ID that should be triggered, however the system is not able to pull through the authorisation steps. This means that we are then allowed to release the purchase order as the authorisation rule does not get triggered. Our expectations would be that if there is missing basic data, but the correct authorisation rule ID is being identidied on the PO, that the system would error upon the release of the PO.We had also attempted creating a ‘Catch All’ authorisation rule (all parameters switched on) to see if the system would instead identify this as the rule to be triggere
Hello Everyone, seeking your thoughts in here.I am trying to deliver a Non inventory sales part using a customer order. I assumed if we release the order then I can directly deliver the parts as the part is non inventory. This works if the wanted delivery date is the current date. But If I create the customer order with the wanted delivery date as a future date. After releasing, I cannot perform the delivery until I perform the Reserve customer order even though its non inventory sales part. If not “Non inv Sales part Qty to deliver” field is not updated with the order line Qty. If the Wanted delivery date is current date If wanted delivery date is future dateIn quick order flow handling shows the next step as reserve. If I perform the reservation generally. It updates the Non inv qty to deliver field and then I can deliver the order. Same behaviour can be seen in App10.Is there any explanation for this behaviour? Or am I missing any setting? Appreciate your thoughts on this. Thanks,Ch
I everyone,I struggle with the rental process, because I don’t manage to complete the material return. Here are some screen shots of what I did : create the RMA, release it, but as you see I don’t have any command to receive it in stock. Have you ever seen this issue ? Thanks
I'm trying do find a way of work for Partially delivered Shipment and print shipment delivery note For exampleOrder is 50 LinesShipment 50 LinesWe Partially pick 20 lines and the truck arrives and picks it up, print shipment delivery notefor those lines. We continue to pick the rest now we want to print new shipment delivery note for those 30lines Now here is the wish list an easy way of work for this, and keeping the same Shipment ID We “know” how to split the shipment to 2 different but we think this is to cumbersome for you warehouse workers we are currently on 22r2
We are using IFS cloud version 23R.1.8. Goal to solve: I want to set-up a storage at the production line with the most commonly used materials (eg. screws, bolts, washers). I will use real time consumption to decrease the stock-levels at the production storage. Once the level of material is below a certain point I want to automatically get more material from our main storage. Therefore I have set my eyes on using Kanban Circuits to solve this with signal type Automatic (Reorder Point).Problem:I have successfully created a Kanban Circuit in our test environment (which has production data), activated it and made a replenishment using “Kanban Reorder Point Request”. A Transport Task (TT) of the needed quantity is created automatically, so far so good.My problem is that the reserved articles are not placed on a new TT but on a closed TT from 2020. I have tried different locations and get the same issue, but it varies on which existing TT it places the material on. It never creates a new TT
Community, I have a customer order, say 10 lines, all are purchased parts. current supply code is set to “Inventory Order”, MRP will create purchase requisition supply. End user is requesting the purchase requisition created by MRP share the same purchase requisition no, is there a way we could make this happen? Thank you.
Hi, I have setting on the ‘invoice’ the currency = ‘PLN’ for supplier 100045 : but when I add the charge line on the other supplier (ID=102679), but with invoicing supplier = 100045 I still don’t have correct currency. It should be ‘PLN’, but is ‘USD’ ( like base supplier = 102679). How can I change the currency in charge line ?In result, I need that correct charge line will automaticly set in PO.
Why does the setup below cause an error during the creation of extended site info in site screen? when i change the status to active, i can create extended site info without any issue. Setup - BlockedError :-
Is there anyway how a multiple condition codes can be received in an external service order PO for a same lot batch tracked part? For example, qty of 10 with condition code USED and lot batch L1 is sent to repair. Once repaired, it will be received with of qty of 9 with condition code REPAIRED with lot batch L1 and a Qty of 1 with condition code UNSERV with lot batch L1.Refer test steps attachment “External Service Order”
I'm trying to move parts from Bay 12 to Bay 13 using the Transport Task, with my Drop-Off Location currently attached to Bay 12. However, the functionality doesn't work when the Drop-Off Location is connected to Bay 12. It only works when I connect the Drop-Off Location to Bay 13. Is this a limitation of the Drop-Off Location functionality?
A customer is having an issue with Automatic Putaway for Inventory held in a Handling Unit. Using IFS Apps 10. Automatic Refill is selected on the Warehouse. Stock is sitting in a HU in an Inventory Location that isn’t part of the Putaway Zone set up on the Part. Background Job is being generated to auto refill but no Transport Task is being generated (no message on the background job but assume due to the same issue as noted in the next paragraph). When manually trying to Perform Putaway on the IPIS screen, an information message is confirming that no putaway location could be found for the stock being held in the current location. However, when manually Performing Putaway on the Handling Units in Stock screen for the same stock, a Transport Task is being successfully generated and all details are correct. What is the reason that the auto-refill is not successfully generating? Surely Auto Refill of Putaway Zones will work with Stock held in Handling Units? There is nothing in IFS Help
Hello, Does anyone have a solution for how to set up a block that prevents a user from accidentally creating a counting report of all the system's inventory parts? If you run the "Create Count Report" wizard, no filters are pre-filled and you click OK immediately, a report is created on all inventory parts for you primary site. Thanks,Johan
Hi everyone,I wonder if anyone has documentation on all these configurations, how and when to use them? And which process (screen on IFS) is affected? Thank you in advance.
