I’m trying to get media working in our test system on fault reports - LU ActiveSeperate. I have added Media to the Object connections and can see it on the screen but when I drag an image to the record I get the following error message:We have just applied Update 17 to this environment so unsure if this is an update issue or if you can’t use media on fault reports or if I’ve not configured it correctly.Thanks Sarah

I have a client script which is working perfectly fine in the form view.. If i update a field in the form view, the onChange client script works fine. But if make the change in the List view by double clicking the field, the client script is not working.. Any alternate solution?

How does IFS handle a work order that needs to be assigned to two technicians?  Sometimes we need to send 2 technicians out on a call.  We do have a lead technician but we want to be able to see that both technicians are not available to schedule.

Trying to search for all planned start dates that are 14 days old. I can search using >TODAY but cant find out what other functions i could use to search for dates without actually using dates. Can’t use “Yesterday” or “Last Week”   if i do try one of those i get the following value

When we create a material requisition from mobile, the back office see’s the planned line.  The back office wants to Manually Reserve and move the reservation with a transport task.  IFS will do this. The created transport task can be seen from mobile under “Receive Reserved Parts”.  When we try to receive and issue we get the following error:

In a certain situation a combination of projects with work orders will be used. Part of the solution is that there will be standard inventory replenished by standard MRP.What will happen is that all work orders will be project connected, so when demand is registered on a work order material requisition, these lines will be connected to a project activity.We will use Project MRP to automatically transfer standard inventory to project inventory, this all works fine. The issue is that the WO tasks will be assigned to workers with a default remote warehouse connected. When this is the case the automatic reservation of work order material lines will only consider inventory on the remote warehouse (as this is the default warehouse for the worker). The transferred inventory, which is available for the applicable project activity is not considered during reservation.Only solution we see is that we do a manual reservation of the line and change to the central warehouse to reserve the stock. We use New Case Issue for recording customer faults/requests.  We have 1 company providing support to its own employees and the employees of another company we also own. However, when the employees raise a case from the 2nd company (customer), it defaults in the case to the 1st company (customer).  The employees raising the case are only assigned to one company so I had expected the system to know which company to enter based on the employee raising the case.  This is not happening.  Does anyone know if there is a way of doing this?

We are testing the scanning functionality of the Scan It app and noticed that in certain screens it drops the identifying prefix character when scanning and in other screens it does not.  Attached is an example, the numbers circled in RED appear with the prefix in front of the scan.  The item circled in GREEN scans correctly and it gets dropped. For example, Move Inventory Part drops the “Q” prefix when scanning but the screen before that which is Part No it does not drop the “P” Is there a place in IFS where you can set what gets dropped and what doesn’t?  Or do you typically set that on the scanner gun itself?  We are using Honeywell CK65’s

I have noticed that when a mobile user creates Material Demand and issues the part from MWO Service 10, when looking in IEE you see the Maintenance Material Requisition for the work task and the issued qty but MWO Service 10 is not automatically adding a Sales Part to the Requisition line.  The problem this causes is that the Work Task Sales Line has to be manually updated with the Sales Part Number. If I use the same part and create the Maintenance Material Requisition from IEE, IFS automatically adds the sales part number. I did look at the SalePart Entity and in the where clause it is only grabbing sales parts where CATALOG_TYPE_DB = ‘NON’ I am assuming this is only grabbing non-inventory sales parts.  Does this mean the back office will ALWAYS have to add the sales part for mobile inventory issued?

We need to add several OEE functions to the mWO (get journal records, add new journal entry).As we understood we need to add mobile entity in the mWO code. We got an advice to use DevScaffold project for this purpose.Our question is – do we need to have WO full source code of existing entities in order to add our one or we can build our entity as a separate DLL and deploy it along with existing cloud resource dll (mWorkOrder_4_8_1_0.dll)?
