Hi,

We are changing our domain name lets assume from aaa.com to bbb.com.

What will be its impact on application?

Do we need to reinstall the application or reconfigure will work?

Any other suggestions, please guide.

Hi Shitanshu,

Are you able to clarify which IFS application you are referring to here? The version may also assist e.g.apps9 or FSM 6.

Depending on the application there may be a different answer.

Kind regards,

Hi @shitanshu sharan,

Even though you are asking this on the Service  forum, I believe your change should affect to the whole suit of applications.

A reconfiguration should be enough to configure the IFS Applications middle tier. This can be done via the IFS Installer. However, details will differ depending on the IFS Applications version.

Then you may also have PrintAgent installations. You need to reinstall these PrintAgents, if any.

If you use SSL, you must also get a new certificate for the new domain. You could add it to the middle tier the same time you are reconfiguring the application server.

Depending on the products you use, you may need to take additional steps. Thank you.

Best regards,

Sampath
