Is it possible to make the Resource Monitoring Gantt Chart read only for certain users? Regards John 

We have a scenario where some users cannot connect via Notify Me mobile App.The error is “I'm afraid something went wrong. Check your TAS URL and re login.”It’s working fine for some & if those who can access, tries with the same credentials of the users who can not logged in, they can logged in without any issue.Is this a known issue. Are there any specific settings to be setup or any documentation can follow as a guideline.Thanks in Advance

Hi All,I wanted to add a condition to specific Object to set the specific document classes for different Company Ids. I have used ,Object Condition  as - COMPANY_ID='XXX' and set up the condition. It worked as expected.What are different methods we use to add conditions on Document default for object?   In online documentation different methods are described, but no idea how to use those in different situations.Online DocumentationI also read that it is possible to implement rules on the ‘Key Ref’ as well. Hi Everyone,Does anyone have experience with filtering what QR code brings to the mWO? When I try to select or issue part via mWO using barcode scanning functionality the code brings me part no, serial, dates and many more. I would only want barcode scanning to bring me part number and serial - is this possible?Thanks

On the person screen and place screen, there are many values of places_relationship.①how these values of places_relationship are used in repair progress?for example,is the value of place to ship filled in automatically in address ID on shippment screen ?②And which value is necessary ? if the value is not set firstly the repair progress can not be moved on.③Can there be process differences due to different  values of whose place?for example,the place of customer or repair center. IF you have some ideas about this question, please check the attchement with details.Thanks !!

HiHow can I connect the Place table to the Opportunity table for ad--hoc reporting purposes?I have created an ad-hoc report category called Sales and added both the Place and Opportunity tables to it. However, when creating a report from this category I get errors when combining the Place Name with the Opportunity ID and Description. The error is: Any ideas?

We are using IFS Apps 10 U8.  In the Service and Maintenance area, when an issued serialized unit is returned to an inventory location, the operational status of that serialized unit defaults to not operational.  How can I update the status to operational? 

Is there a way in IFS to not allow a technician to be clocked into multiple assignments at once from different WO’s?  I am pretty sure the functionality exists on the manufacturing side on the shop floor workbench but I don’t see a way to do this on the Service & Maintenance side of IFS Apps 10.  Any ideas? Thanks,  Curtis Taylor

IFS Apps 10 Account Manager The registered user cannot enter the application after a while, the connection is established when I delete the user information from the program and re-enter it. I log into IFS Notify Me 10 application with the user information in the Account Manager. What could be the reason the user could not connect after a while? When I remove and re-enter user information in the Account Manager application, I am not having any problems. After a while I can't connect again and I have to do this process constantly, can you help?

I have an environment where we don’t want to allow the use of Pool Work Order or Technicians to Create New Work from mWO Service 10.  Is there a way to hide these tiles on the home screen in mWO Service 10?

We are mid-upgrade. We switched from DB Authentication method for login to Azure login. Now our mwo devices are not receiving new assignments. I can see existing assignments but newly assigned are not coming through. I am able to login to the app, but then I receive this message ‘The sync process has started failing’. I go to Details and it only takes me to the Sync page in the app where the normally spinning green initializing circle reads ‘idle’. I am not sure the sync’ing issue is related to the change from DB Authentication to Azure, but it was working without issue just previous to that change. No other changes were made at the time. So it may be something else and a coincidence, but I thought it was important to note as the major change.Any ideas? 

This is a customization, that requires a work order to be unassigned and removed from the mobile when the user updates a field from Report In screen in the MWO app. The workflow is:User updates worked hours field and clicks save. Work Order is unassigned, and status is set to Released.  Background Job Mobile_Sync_Sys.Execute_Push_Sync_Job__ is created to remove the WO from the MWO app. WO is sent to PSO and received back to IFSAPPs WO is transferred to the mobile again.The above workflow was working correctly but unfortunately it has stopped. What I found is that step 2 works correctly but the background job in step 3 is not generated.I unassign the WO by using the Mobile_Work_Order_Util_API.Unassign_Work_Order method. This method will unassign the WO and a Mobile_Sync_Sys.Execute_Push_Sync_Job__ background job is automatically created. Strangely when I test this using PL/SQL developer this executes correctly and generates the BK job but not when I test using the MWO app.I’m not sure w

We have a scenario where a Service Work Order was pushed to a Customer Order and Delivered to prepare for invoicing.  Upon doing this, the user noticed incorrect pricing.   Once a Customer Order tied to service is in the delivered status, what is the easiest way to update the Sell price?  Currently all we know to do is push the CO to invoicing and then create a credit/re-bill which is long and very difficult to do.  Any suggestions are greatly welcomed. 

I have a user who is getting some errors in mWo that I cannot replicate with me user.  They’re receiving the following error when trying to do a quick issue: Quick Issue ErrorSeems like MWO Service 10 is having difficulty pulling some default values.  He’s connected to a site, warehouse and assortment.  I have the same security and settings as him and I am able to do a quick issue on the same WO (different task) without issue. He’s also getting the below error when trying to create material demand from mwo Service 10: Material Demand ErrorNot sure why he’s getting this.  Any ideas?

Dear all,we are searching for a way to indicate more products in one task.Currently our structure looks as followsMultiple tasks can be be created below one request In one task only one product can be assigned → this is already done via configuration on the request screenGoal is to assign more products to one task. Background is that we are doing service on product lines, which can consist of multiple products. We typically don’t know which product is worked on first (technicians check the line on site). For the time being it would be sufficient to have one main product (assigned via the request to all tasks) and adding a list of additional products that need to be serviced on site. Naive question: Why not add via UI designer an additional tab in the task, establish the link  via child relations to products and further add a list, where the user can select products (as many as preferred). regards,Thomas

If I set up work task cost code condition with WIP reversal condition “Task Finished” and WIP ReversalDate “Event Date” can I somehow change apply date ?Quite often a task is finished in the beginning of the month but e.g. invoice concerns previous month and a voucher has to be posted in this period.Any help, please ?Marek

 We use a print agent. The service works when the console is running. When we start the service in the background - the print agent is not working. Has anyone had such a problem?

Hi All,When we create a context filtered by USER_ID (For an example, in the newly created context we change the label value from "Site" to "TSite"). Following are some of the questions regarding this scenario.How will the changed context value("TSite") will be sent to the mobile device? Will it be stored in any table in the mobile device or is there any other mechanism? How can I confirm whether the changed context value has been transferred to the mobile device without viewing the UI? We are upgrading from Apps8 to Apps10. There is a customer and technician signature that exists in Apps8. Apps8 blob on table, HISTORICAL_SEPARATE, CUST_SIGNATURE. Apps10 table for mWO signatures  is JT_TASK_SINGATURE.For historical reference and use on work order documentation, we need to migrate the Apps8 signature to Apps10.Anyone have suggestions on how we can accomplish this?

How can I add (auto populate) data from IFS into an excel document please.The setup is already done in ‘Macro Basic’.Looking for the same functionality as Quick Parts - Field in Microsoft Word.Much appreciate any help.   

Good day. recently the Mobile_Cleanup_Sys.Clean_Faulty_Sync_Tasks__ is never completing and just keeps executing. We try and kill the job, but it wont stop.I tried setting the error fag on the front end (IEE) and it wont allow me to set this job as an error or stop the job.We tried placing this in its own batch queue to keep it from jamming up the queue and adding more processes to its queue and it just kicked off more of these jobs that will not complete. We are running APPS9 UD14 and mWO. Where to look to diagnose and resolve this issue and how can you kill a process that wont die?
