Service (Touch Apps, MWO, MRO)

When going to the web-based administration site for Touch Apps for one of our instances, we are unable to login. The error seems obvious - remote certificate is invalid according to the validation procedure. But multiple people have looked at the cert and it all looks good. Maybe we’re missing something. Does anyone have any tips on checking the cert? Has anyone else gotten this when it isn’t the cert?  We’ve had no issue with our other instances, so it’s not as if we haven’t been through a cert install, etc., before. 

HiWe are have a customer using mWO. The field Tech are using mWO-iOS, Windows and Android OS.Few Task Transaction's are failing to communicate from mWO to IEE 10.Please would any one suggestion , how to fix these type of issues  

HelloWe are trying to setup the B2B supplier portal but we also have problems getting access to the documents. We are missing the Attachment pane in the B2B module but we can see that documents are attached.I have signed in as app owner We have update 10  We have created a document class named “B2B DOC” it was not there   We have component  “DocumentHomeB2b” Documents attached to PO lines are releasedanyone having an idea what more to do? :-)

We have a MWO user that has some odd time reports being put onto a task after he has entered time and completed the work, when Tech entered his hours things are fine as soon as he completes the work task on his device a time report appears in the IFS system and on his device differently.Let say the Tech has reported 2 hrs and completes work task,on device it shows 15 hrs and in IFS also it shows 15 Hrs.The Tech is not using any tools in the Task, why there is discrepancies in Time Reporting. Please advice

Hi all,Thanks to @James Ashmore, I could solve this issue. I thought of sharing the steps with others.If you're getting following error during the initialization of MWO Service 10 app or MWO Maintenance 10 app, you may able to solve the issue by following the steps below. Error:INITFAILED:Initialization failed due to app redeployment. Solution:1. Go to IEE > Solution Manager > Background Processing > Background Jobs > Database Processes2. Search for:     2.1) If IFS MWO Service 10: %ServiceEngApp%     2.2) If IFS MWO Maintenance 10: %MaintEngApp% 3. If the shown database processes are DISABLED: 4. RMB on the record(s) > Reactivate 5. Now processes must be in either 'RUNNING' or 'SCHEDULED' state. 6. Go back to MWO Service 10/ MWO Maintenance 10 app > Force Initialize (Or you can log in again) Now the app might initialize without errors. Hope this helps. Cheers. /Nimesh

Hi Can anybody tell why the negative request_id is not getting assigned with the subsequent positive request_id? I could see the sync is happening and any update to previous existing request also working fine. Now the only issue is request_id and as well as the task_id getting reflected as negative value when I am creating any.  

Hello All,Just wanted to get a confirmation, if there is a Service Report option in mWO 10 RTM version.In Aurena when you are about to complete i can see the Service Report option, or even in status bar as well.In Apps 9 also, when we are about to complete i could see the ‘Service Report’ Option.   Am i correct to think that for apps 10 RTM version that the service report functionality is not available?I’ve checked the permissions but couldn't find any option except for the WFC.Is that the only way available for Service Reports as well? Thanks in advance,Vinu.

Hi Experts,The synchronization rules contains the Entity for related to specific application and version. For an example if we take ServiceEngApp, 1.7. Each entity has a default delivery method and will select a batch entity "MobileClientSecurity". Sync Rules For the above entity the default schedule is that it will sync for every 30 minutes interval. The Batch schedule for the ServiceEngApp 1.7 is every 15 minutes. Batch ScheduleLets Imagine that the batch schedule ran at 12:00 (Batch-1) and MobileClientSecurity entity has been synced in this batch schedule. The next schedule will run on 12:15 (Batch-2). But during Batch-2 the MobileClientSecurity entity should not sync as its default interval is 30 mins. When the Batch-3 runs (at 12:30) then the delta of MobileClientSecurity will be synced.The question I am having is that, how will the application will track that only some specific batch entities should be synced when it is executed ?( In above example, Batch-1 and Batch-3 will sync

Hi, This is a question and also suggestion. You can add measurements in mobile work order application on your tablet. But when you forget to enter measurements and you complete your work, it’s too late to enter them back.So it would be nice to have possibility to make measurements mandatory for example for certain objects. Or at least have a reminder before completing work to enter measurements.Or maybe it is possible to create using events? But in case of “offline mode” sometimes, when an event will block something during synchronization it may lead to problem with work.Best regards,Hubert 

I have a work order (created manually and not linked to customer order) which has consumed material from a PO that seems to be CSS Type EAM (booking status transferred).  The WO is connected to a project (the customer on the project is external). I have examples in one of our other IFS companies which has not gone to EAM (so I am assuming it is not system set-up). Can anyone suggest what the issue may be?  How can I check if the project is connected to a sales contract in IFS/Contract Management? 

We are working on our Upgrade to Apps10 UPD9 (from Apps8). This post is related to mWO Service 10 - Aurena Native app and Mobile Surveys.We configured Surveys based on the very light documentation we were provided. Help Pages in Aurena don’t work, confirmed by IFS. If anyone has detailed documentation of any kind on this, it would be very much appreciated.The Survey and Workflow Config, as far as we can tell, is set up properly but reaching out for community input here, along with a formal, pending IFS support request. All Synchronized Entities syncs are up-to-date. I just filtered for anything with ‘Surv%’.  Survey Configuration:The Survey is PublishedSurvey Workflow Type selected “Work Start”; this means the Survey should pop up when the user presses Start Work on the MWO. Hi All,Periodic Prices can be seen for the Invoice Planned Service lines in the Periodic Prices tab in the Service Line page in Aurena.But that cannot be seen in the Services tab as shown in the attached picture, because the periodic prices are changed time to time during the Service Contract validity period. Only Fixed Price will appear in the Price column because that price will be fixed during the Service Contract validity period. Thanks & Best Regards,Nipun

Hi,We found a problem when adding attachments in web browser Chrome and extension Aurena Agent is enabled. The documents can be added but not downloaded and viewed. This error seems to be related to Aurena Agent. As a workaround we can suggest to disable and enable the Aurena agent extension from chrome. Once you have done that step, You won't get the issue again. But you will also get the issue when re-login to the system.  Thanks & Best Regards,Nipun

Thought of sharing "How to add custom tab into Aurena client" Navigated to the Application Configuration Package screen. Created an application configuration package.Then navigated to the Custom Logical Unit screen. Create new LU. Add attributes you want to see in the table.After creating custom logical unit RMB on it and Approved then Published, then add to the created Application Configuration Package. IEE clientNavigated to the window where you want to add the table (eg: Prepare Work Order)Then RMB on the page and Select Custom Objects - > Tabs -> Create NewThen added the created Custom Logical Unit Page as a Tab. Aurena ClientCreate Projection configuration with details. When some users attempt to drag and drop any document into the attachment pane, they get the following error:  The file type is not registered in Document Management/EDM Basic. Please contact the System Administrator.This seems to be a permissions issue because other users can drag and drop the same file with no issue.  Does anyone know what they could be missing?We recently upgraded from 7.5 to 10.  In 7.5, they had no issue with the drag and drop functionality.

Hi,  Is it possible to know where the person calendar exception screen is coming from when this is launched via the schedule board resource card?  Is it possible to edit this screen and new user_def fields? In addition we want the exception type drop down to show the description and not the code value

Hello,We have a Crystal Report to display Customer information.How can we prevent the use of the button shown below. 

I want to be able to switch remote warehouse easily - changing vans (having different stocks). When changing the user remote warehouse (i.e. removing and adding a new warehouse to the user) My Stock view in mWO Service App is not updated as expected: Parts that exist in the removed warehouse are displayed with quantity available 0. The parts in the new warehouse are displayed correctly. InvnetoryPartInStock in the database viewer displays just parts in the newly connected remote warehouse.  This is after running synchronization rules InventoryPartInStock and UserWareHouseConnection.After also running synchronization rules for InventoryPart, UserRemoteWarehouseQuery, WareHouseBayBin still the result shows the qty available 0.It seems odd that qty available 0 is displayed, as My Stock shows available parts. Note that after initialization all parts with qty available 0 are removed from My Stock.

HiI am trying to set up the MWO Service Engineer application into our training environment, but when I come to initializing I get the following error, “Initialization already in process”I have no other MWO applications enabled so I'm a little confused, has anyone else came across this issues and how did they resolve it? Thanks
