We are bringing a new Chinese company online in IFS in a couple of weeks and have discovered that there are a dozen or so serial objects that were created in our UK company even though the machine was installed in China and is serviced by our China company.  We need to move the serial objects from one company to the other, but the move serial object function is intersite within the same company.  Copy serial object would be a fine alternative, but it isn’t allowed because it sees the object as a duplicate.  We can’t create the equipment with new serial object IDs because the serial number on the system doesn’t physically change, it is just connected to the wrong functional object.I’ve tried:Move serial object Copy serial object Delete object from functional object (not allowed due to connected work orders) Create Component Repair Order in an attempt to return the system from one customer site and into inventory, then issue to the new customer but in a different company (this didn’t go

We have instances where the WO co-ordinator is not aware of the specific engineer to assign an MWO to. He/She just knows the local engineering team to assign to.  There is a lot of discussions about Pools, but I see no reference to this in Apps9

Recently we encountered an issue when either creating new or copying an existing survey.Upon saving the new survey we get the following error.Survey Receiver Definition Object already exists when copying surveys.This occurs for all users, including the IFSAPP.This is only occurring in production. we have tried creating a new survey and everything else works until we go to add a participant and no matter which user we try and add we get the same error.Our work around is to add participants to the survey through the backend. Any suggestions as to how we can fix this or where we should look to find root cause. Appreciate the feedback.Thank you,Marjie We are using APPS9 UD17 and utilize the Surveys for work order management on mobile.

We are working through our process for corrections and came across that the system is set up to send the negative lines of the credit to a new customer order instead of the original that needs to be corrected. Is there any where to change this creation of new lines and instead have it flow to the order we are correcting?

We are running APPS9 with UD17. Where can I dig a bit deeper to see why this error may be occurring and if in fact it is an error at all.

I have created 8 debrief workflow which are created based on the base debrief flow depending on my task type. 1. Install task 2. Repair Task etc.Once I created the flow and did all the modifications. Later I need a screen( Network Details ) which will be common to all debrief flow. If I am adding the Network Details screen to base debrief flow, it's not reflecting to other created task flows.In this case how to proceed?1.Should I add the screen to base debrif and then delete all the task type debrif flow and create again the task type debrif flow?2. Or need to create individual screen for each task type flow?It will impact a lot if I do these both two.Is there any other way to do so?Please suggest  

HiWe are wanting to install IFS MWO Service 10 on a Windows 2012 R2 Server to enable IFS Support to use for troubleshooting any issues we raise as well as use by our partners.We are currently having issues installing.Does anyone know if the app is compatible?RegardsShaun

Good Afternoon All,We have a case at present where an engineers Labour is not pulling through to the Work Order. There is no problem with his travel time just the recording of time on site - I can confirm that he is starting and ending the MWO as expected, however the labour line does not appear within the WO posting - can anyone please suggest further investigation to make - Thank you  

Good Morning,Can anyone advise how the name appearing on the CONTACT field can be updated. This field automatically populates when the Work Order is saved during the prepare stage. The contact name also appears on the Work Record Sheet Signature . Many thanks for your help 

On occasion our engineer’s are completing surveys on their MWO and the survey answers are not arriving into the survey answers table.There are no failed transactions when the engineer saves the survey and no errored background jobs.If the engineer un-installs/re-installs the app, this seems to fix the issue.However, this issue could continue with an enigneer for weeks at a time without us knowing and therefore result in a significant loss of data.Has anyone experienced anything like this?We are using IFS apps 9. Thank you.

Hi All, This sounds like a very basic thing, but either I am having a really bad day or something else is going wrong.According to flow 4.16.3.1 - Manage Service Quotation we should be able to enter contact after the Servir Quotation has been created and in status ‘Under preparation”. Unfortunately, I’ve been looking for a place to enter contacts on my Service Quotation and either I am missing something or I am not seeing all possible tabs here but I can’t seem to find the proper section to add a customer to my Service Quotation. Hello community,I would like to show only a global price of all the resources and material of a work task on a service quotation. I belive this should be possible as there is a Field “Include in Fixed Line” (see below) but I do not know how to set it to Yes as it is not editable on the Other demabds tab.How can I do that?Thank you !

 Hi Team, We have upgraded a customer from Apps8 to Apps10 UPD15 and there are some events related to touchapps push notifications missing.All those missing events are available in IT2 environment which  we created few months back.We need to check why these events are missing.We have a doubt, about whether these events get created from a background job/scheduled task. Is there a way to check it? Since the financial report comparison has not been completed, the background jobs are not yet enabled and job_queues remain 0 yet.We can export and import missing events from IT2 to UR environments. Hi,We are quite new to MWO and are struggling with PO Receipts. We have an Inventory Part with a ‘No Lot Tracking’ order type. We have raised a PR against the WO, Authorized it, Converted to PO, updated Destination Warehouse on PO, Released PO, but when on the MWO the User can see it has a PO but when they select ‘Purchase Order Receipts’ (via the Required Material → PO OR from the Dashboard) they never get the option to receipt. Can anyone suggest things to check as to why this isn’t possible? Is it the Part Order Type of no lot tracking? Is it something to do with the Entity Details etc.? Thanks in advance.
