Hello, 


I am after some assistance with refining engineer assortments.

The challenge we have is obsolete parts that are still on service contracts that can be replaced with a replacement part.

Our plan is to have 2 assortments (if at all possible) one for available materials and one for all materials i.e. returns.

After creating the second assortment, we have run the sync tasks and the Refresh all parts scheduled task. 

Within a job, the materials list does not appear to be updating, nor do we have the ability to choose between the two assortments. Is this even possible? How should separate assortments be viewed?

Is there something we are missing?

Are you trying to connect more than one assortments to the mobile user to get those assortment parts available in mobile? That is possible as below.

 


Yes, but the changes we are making do not appear to be updating on the mobile. Which tasks do we need to run to ensure the update happens?

Also, how will both assortments be viewed? as one full list or separate lists?

You need to run the scheduled task “Refresh all inventory parts” to get the newly added assortment parts into mobile. Then the parts should be avaible for you to plan new material demands from mobile. All parts which are coming from different assortments are combined together to form the list of valid inventory parts to the each user..
