Solved

It seems like this should be easy but I am getting strange results. I’ve created a custom LU with 3 custom fields:  a checkbox for the user to use,  a ‘checked by’ field to capture the User who clicks the checkbox along with the date they did it.The ‘Checked by’ field is created as Field Type = Read Only I am using this expression: This does correctly capture the user who is logged on and checks the checkbox. The problem is after that data is entered, when I later log on (or anyone else is) to view that info, it picks up my ID and the current date. It is picking up the user who is logged on (which it is supposed to) but I don’t want that to change when anyone views it. The custom field is not updateable and not insertable (they are grayed out, even if I wanted to make it Insertable but not updateable.  I am out of ideas. Anyone out there have any? Thanks

Hi everyone,Do you know how to define a Functional Object as a Fixed Asset? Thanks for your help.Regards

We receive PO lines with serials in our daily business. Those PO lines have charges distributed by amount. But let’s say, we receive only 200 out of the 500 PO line quantity, the total charges get allocated to that lot of 200 only. The next lot of 300 has zero charges allocated. Hence the Unit value of the inventory is significantly less compared to the first receipt. Is there a way to overcome this in IFS?

Hi,Hope y’all are well.I am facing an issue regarding Hedge Contracts. My client has some hedge contracts with banks, to set a fixed exchange rate, for a fixed period, for specific suppliers. I need to register those contracts and attach to specific suppliers in order to use the contract fx rate instead of the updated system one when invoicing.I.e., I need to:Attach the bank agreements with the suppliers To have a “expire” date in those agreements The agreements must automatically fix/set the fx rate in new invoicesIf it is not possible to make it automatically, at least set the fx rate per supplier. Does anyone know how to do it? Any similar issue? Thanks in advance Any thoughts?  Thanks!

One of our MRO customers are having an issue where, when you manually add a blow through part (Type K) in an ASO material line and then include a random part to the same work scope from the Disposition Summary Screen; after the releasing of the Interim order structure, the manually added blow through part gets removed.Kindly explain why this is happening as I believe think this an incorrect behavior.

An MRO customer of ours is requesting for solution for the following scenario:Customer is having a part which is always replaced every time in the parts of the unit that composes the received repair product. There are multiple number of these replacements parts under each unit, and the customer doesn't want to issue a Disposition Shop Order because they are getting replaced every time. But he wants it to be able to be connected to ASO material tab as well. How can we handle this on the system?

This is regarding Oracle Security Patches that need to be avoided when handling the apply of UPD. For App10, we follow the below document:https://ifs-my.sharepoint.com/:x:/r/personal/sampath_sitinamaluwa_ifsworld_com/_layouts/15/guestaccess.aspx?e=Z7Pv5f&CID=786C6397-3045-40ED-B5A4-9D2C8E1EBA6F&wdLOR=c7032613B-85D9-42D6-A642-2855467CD1B0&share=EWV2DnTwKJ1CtGVT6OjYEdUB8OtriBRfIiVHMEZ2QFpNrwHowever this document is not updated with bugs from APP10 UPD12 and UPD13. These bugs:Bug 159707 Bug 159363Both these bugs contain mws.zip file, so even though it’s fetched from the quick reports of mandatory and deployment bugs. Make sure these bugs are removed before merging mandatory patches and starting the build. Hopefully these bugs will be included in Oracle CPU excel sheet so it would be easier to avoid it.
