In Project Demand Required date as per the Lead time

Hi,Is it possible in Project demand line that required date or Wanted Delivery date comes as per the supply chain lead time defined.We have requirement where in Project demand system should considered the lead time and suggest the required date and  WDD.RegardsSangita

Project item Navigator Standard rollup hours.

Need to know about the standard rollup hours in the project item navigator. when you are updating labor run factor of a routing, How the standard rollup hours are changing. should the total standard rollup hours of the top part should be updated by the same number that changing in the labor run factor of the relevant routing.? How does this relate to the engineering part revision.? Should the total of the standard roll up of the component part s be equal to the standard rollup hours of the top part in the project item navigator. Is there any bug fix related to this?

Single invoice for Customer Order, Project, and Work Order

As far as I know, when you have project transactions and Work Order Transactions there is not a way to send the customer a single invoice.  You have to invoice the project transactions using a project invoice and you have to invoice the work order transactions through a Customer Order.  Am I right on this?Is there a way to combine both into a single invoice?Our customer is concerned about the acceptability of receiving multiple invoices.Any ideas might be helpful.Thank you.

Gantt Chart Scheduling start date issue after activity three

when scheduling a project, dependencies are created between activities. The most common type of dependency is finished to start, which means that the activity cannot start until the predecessor activity is finished. When scheduling the project, the system considers these dependencies to plan the start and finish dates of the activities.   Notice that start date had not change after activity 3 May I kindly know if this is due to a basic data issue.Thank youUdanee

Create Sales Contract from Business Opp Sales Values not copying

I’m trying to create a sales contract from a Business Opportunity.  In the Create Sales Contract dialog, in the lower section I set my line no, description and set my Calculation type for Sales Value and my calculation method of Rate Only and Fixed.  When the Sales Contract is created, the only values that come over from the Opportunity and ones where I’ve set the calculation method to Fixed.  Does anyone know why the values when I am using Rate Only are not coming over to the Sales Contract?

How to use an API method to update the value of a column based on values from other columns from an external file?

Hi,I’m looking at creating an external file template to import project misc. parts demand. I’d like to be able to enter a date that would then update the field ‘Required Date’.The value for this field is fetched (it’s a proper column in the logical unit), below is the SQL column detail:NVL(&AO.PROJECT_MISC_PROCUREMENT_API.Calculate_Required_Date(PROJECT_ID,ACTIVITY_SEQ,&AO.ACTIVITY_API.Get_Early_Finish(ACTIVITY_SEQ),OFFSET),&AO.ACTIVITY_API.Get_Early_Finish(ACTIVITY_SEQ)). I’ve created the external file template and I have added a field/column called ‘Require_Date’Columns 2 to 7 are mandatory.Without anything else, the template works but (obviously) the date keyed in in that column is not taken into account to update either ‘Required Date’ or ‘Offset’ - but this is something I’d like to happen.I’ve looked at using either detail functions or calling an API After Unpack (calling PROJECT_MISC_PROCUREMENT_API.Caclculate_Offset; with the following details PROJECT_MISC_PROCUREMEN

Cost from Work Task on Project Connected WO

I have a project connected work order.  If I have a task of duration =1 and a cost for the MTCE Ord = 60.  Should I see a planned cost of $60 showing on the project activity?Thank you.

Project Connections and Project Hours

Hi All, We are currently facing an issue of reported hours value mismatch between Activity > Hours tab and registered Activity Hours tab as below.  Project Connection Hours (2023.75) < Project Transaction Hours (2028.75) Would you kindly share your kind thoughts and advise what could possibly has gone wrong to cause such a scenario and how to find exact Transaction records which has not created a connection? Time registration fetching project activities without valid report code

I have some activities, released, within the dates but I have one with valid report codes and another without report code, the system for customer A is fetching all the activities regardless if they have valid report codes or not (off course I am unable to book time on the one that doesn’t have the report code)  I have the same scenario with a diferent enviroment (Customer B) in this case only activities with valid report code are fetched when trying to book time  When booking time, only the activity with the valid report code is available , and the report code is fetched automatically. ( wich is the desired scenario) What could be causing this difference in the behaivours? I have tried changing access to the project, review the company properties, review the report codes etc. Thanks,

PMRP Logic

Hello,My company is thinking about implementing Project so we are currently testing out how that would work for us.I have some test data that I am working on and would like to understand why PMRP is raising purchase requisitions and material transfer requests in the way that it has. In the screenshot below, I have a component that has demands across 2 projects (marked red/blue). There are 2 activities with demand in the red project, and one in the blue project. I have 5000 pieces in stock under standard inventory. There is no lot size or safety stock set on the component part, and it has an order cover time of 60 days to group demand. I ran PMRP per Project PNG. I have sharing allowed within project but not across the two separate projects. I think I understand how the red project has been handled. The purchase requisition has been raised for the total demand across all the project activities. It is linked to the last activity, so there are planned MTRs to transfer the required stock t

Bulk Price Change on Request Contract

Currently there is a button in Request Contracts > Periodic Prices tab> Price Change that allows to update the price. I tried a standard migration job with INSERT and currently receive an error ORA-20105: PscContrProductPrice.NOMANINSERT: Lines can not be inserted manually.Is there another way this can be done for more than one request contract at a time? Thanks!

Customer Order Line (Sales Part= Manufactures Sales Part) Connection to Project Activity

Hi, I have an urgent clarification to be made based on Customer Order line Connection to a Project Activity. We are connecting a Customer Order Line to a Project. Sales Part is a Manufacturing Sales Part. However, Planned Cost to the Project is not reflected from the connected customer order line. Is this behavior correct? If we connect a Purchase related sales part from customer order to activity the planned cost is reflected in the Project. Regards,Rasfe.

Resource Activity Load vs Resource Activity Load Detail

Hello,I’m using the old-school resource allocation in Projects.  I’ve got my resource assigned and was checking some data, particularly the Resource Analysis and Resource Activity Load Detail.  The graph nor the detail show any results.  But if I look at the Resource Activity Load, I see what I was looking for.Any ideas whey I would see numbers in one screen vs another?  Maybe it’s tied to the fact that my Resource Analysis doesn’t show any data in the Graph?Thank you.PatrickPS:  If anyone wants to point me toward help documentation or training material in this section, I’m all ears and eyes.
