Hello together,I just tried some things in the routing. I want to setup the costs for the setup time and the machine time, but for both fields “Setup Labor Class” and “Labor Class” lead both to “Manufacturing Labor Class”. How can I setup the setup costs and the mascvhine costs independently?Thank you.Regards Markus

Hello, Is anyone able to explain what exactly enabling the “Run Integrated with CRP” option does when you perform Site MRP in Cloud? There seems to be conflicting info, which is confusing me. The field help description states: If this option is enabled, CRP backward scheduling logic will be used to schedule shop order requisitions generated from the process. As a result, the start dates of the requisitions/receipts generated will be more accurate. However, this thread explains that the MRP calculation will use the routing information to calculate the fixed & variable lead time to schedule the SOR start date. It will only use the manufacturing lead time value on the Inventory Part screen if the routing time is 0. So if this is the case, what

We have a few thousand obsolete inventory parts (status = O - OBSOLETE). Is there a way to hide/archive these parts to stop coming up on Inventory Part searches? It is “cluttering” the screen and there is no reason for users to see these PNs.In our old system we [in general] archived parts that had been obsoleted for at least 2 years. Once archived, it would not show up on standard inventory part searches. There was a special way to search for archived parts and it was possible to “unarchive”, but seldom did we ever have a need to do this.Thanks

Hi Everyone, All though the question is for APPS9, I want to resolve there to migrate data from backend to IFS cloud.Why is the qty per assembly different on Product Structure and Engineering part navigator. The quantity required is 1 in every process thus we have 4 process so it shall be 4 in product structure, but system shows 16 which is wrong. Please help.

Hi,Every time my customer tries to release a shop order , he gets a locked message error saying that it can’t be done, then when he tries again a few minutes later, the release works.It has been a recurring issue for all of his shops orders releases and wants to know where the issue comes from and how to prevent it? Thanks for your help. PS: I have screen shots if needed but it’s in french and I was not able to replicate the issue in the test environment.

we are reporting an operation in a shop order, which backflushes components perfectly. Can the smae reporting of the operation, also do a receipt of the parent part into inventory? 

24.1.5In the Settings dialog for Machine Operations Scheduling, there is a setting for Current Gantt Chart Height with the options Small, Medium, Large, and Auto. When I change this value, all it seems to do is shift the Gantt left-to-right or vice versa, the height does not change.What is the intended function of this setting?

In IFS Cloud 24R1 UPD 5, Inventory Part has a classification called Product Category which is a drop-down list.  However, I could not find any basic data page where values can be added to Product Category. Couldn’t find any content in the IFS Product Documentation regarding this field and the Inventory Part page has no Field Description for it either.  Can someone help please?TIA

Hi, I’d like to suggest some enhancement for the very useful Quick Preview feature IFS Cloud offers for some files types when using Document Management.Currently, we can : Rotate Zoom in/out with a slider (with no real-time preview)I suggest 2 other functionnalities that would be more ergonomic to use, especially with touch devices :Zoom In and Zoom out buttons : zoom in or out by increment (10% ?) Full page : auto scale the document to display the full picture (if image) or full page (if PDF)    This would seriously increase the ergonomy to view some technical drawings in the Shop Floor Workbench screen for example.Best regards, Pierre

Hello,As seen in the attached picture on the Quality Basic Data page, the marked parts are not marked. However, its status is inactive as seen in the 2nd picture on the Control Plan page. Then, when activated as shown in the 3rd picture, it automatically marks the Mandatory part. Then, on the Quailty Basic Data page, the marked area in the 4th picture becomes ticked. How can I avoid this situation?

Will there always be MRP make entries in MRP Part Information and Inventory Part Availability Planning for phantom parts? I guess they are needed for the correct explosion of demands to the next level, but users think it is confusing since they will not create any shop order requisitions.

Hello,I can’t change some of shop orders size. When I want to change it or increase it, it says “The shop order estimate cost of the manufactured part will be negative. This is not allowed. Check By-Product setup.”How can I change the lot size of shop order?   

Currently, we are encountering a hard stop error at shop order receipt whenever we attempt to consume a subassembly part that is associated with an open MRB into the parent shop order. The error message reads: "Component part serial 'part number/' exists in an open MRB case; receipt cannot be processed." While we are able to issue the component to the shop order, we are unable to complete the shop order receipt due to this issue.For context, the MRB pertains to a limited subset of impacted parts, not all parts of that part number. Additionally, these parts are both serial and lot-tracked, but it seems the MRB screen does not support the use of unique identifiers so it’s grouping all inventory tied to that part number. We’re currently on Apps 10 Update 20 in the IEE Client.I’m interested in learning how other members of the community are managing MRBs (Material Review Boards) for subassemblies. Any insights or best practices on how to handle this situati

Hello IFS family, As we have a standard functionality in ‘Inventory part in stock’ screen to print barcode we want to have the same functionality on Transport task line, first of all is that feasible? I tried creating a custom menu for the same and stuck here, as in the process to trigger a barcode from a data line when we click on the custom menu a new barcode Id needs to be generated and stored in the ‘inventory_part_barcode_rep’ view as it works for the existing functionality. But I checked and this - ‘inventory_part_barcode_rep’ is in read-only state as seen below, so how do I add the data for triggering the data. Please suggest a way out of this or maybe a tot

In shop order operation using IFS Apps10 we have assigned the operation to 2 employees with different labor class. I found that in estimated cost for the shop order the labor cost is taken from the labor class of operation line level and not from assigned employees. how this point can be resolved?Thank you.

Fields from empty data in this element appear as NA. How to change that these NA s are 0.

Following question was raised to the IFS Support.The amount of the Purchase Order is 420,000. Progress is calculated to be 25%. However, the DOP amount is 420,000. This is 28.57% progress. Although the amounts are the same, the progress is different. The document says that progress is calculated from the amount of the object.Why do we get different progress rates even though the object amounts are the same?The monitoring amounts are different because of the different progress rates.This is what we initially inquired about. Why are the monitoring amounts different? Following answer was provided by IFS Support for 3 different scenarios.
