Hi How can I export Ojjects of Fixed asset to excel or csv file? I’ve found the template for FA, but it doesn’t work for output. It may be for only input.   Pls refer the piciture below, check on Output file is rejected. Regards; Yasuda

We heard that it’s possible to notify our users with rolling text inside of IFS. Does anyone knows how this is enabled and can be used? I think the rolling text will be visible in the address field in Enterprise Explorer. (is this possible in Aurena as well?) Wants to notify users with info about upcoming updates, important actions, etc.

We have created a custom Sales Quotation Report and added it to the menu in IFS Enterprise. We have added the option to run the report by adding an option to the rmb list.   We now need the same custom quotation to be access from our Eurena application.  Please help

We are currently on version 9 and are starting to create lobbies for user review.  I was able to grant access to the lobby that I created to a permission set, however, the it appears that the user(s) now have access to all of the IFS standard lobbies as well.  I don’t see a way to deactivate these or restrict access to them.  I tried to explicitly revoke access in the permission set to specific lobbies but they are still showing up in the lobby overview, although the data isn’t pulling through.  The issue is that the lobby overview is messy with all of the IFS standard lobbies and I’d like to make that a little cleaner.

I would like to know which application (form) is actual started by a user. Security is all arranged by permission set, but it doesn't necessarily means that the program's in the permission sets are actually used Is there a way to activate/facilitate logging somewhere in IFS or via PLSQL? This will help me analysing which application is used by which user and in which frequency.    

Why not IFS gives popup message that account has been locked. In IFS8, 9 we get the pop up that account has been locked after a set up incorrect credtional was input by user but in IFS V10 we never receive such messages that account has been locked instead it will give incorrect credentials but the user accounts is locked when we check in oracle profile. Why not IFS provide to view the password input by user.... Alot of time we end up entering wrong password due keyboard issue but don't know what we have inputed. 

In BA System Parameters there are only three options for the BA_EXECUTION_SERVER_AVAILABLE: NO/FOR_ALL_INFO_SERVICES_REPORTS/ONLY_FOR_SCHEDULED_REPORTS However this doesn’t really suit our needs as we want to run some through BAES and others direct. For example Report A: Lets say Finance have a report they wish to run on demand (no schedule) and this should open up in their Excel using the BA Addin. Report B: Now we have a wide range of “Cost Centre” reports which breaks down all of the invoices to various managers and they should be able to run these reports on demand also (no schedule) - we don’t want to have to install the BA addin to everyone's machines so want the BAES to handle this functionality and store the report back in the report archive as a standard Excel file.     Can anyone think of a way around this? We are currently in an upgrade project to IFS10 and considering which updates to install and when. Please let me know, where can I find the release schedule from IFS R&D? Regarding UPD7, is the planned content published somewhere? For previous updates I have found “What’s new” presentations by Bob Corrigan by Open IFS, but as a decision basis we would need information about the planned content of a coming update as well.

code:One of my customer is trying to save BA reports in Sharepoint. Previously it didnt allow users to run BA reports from Sharepoint. Howevercustomer has now mentioned that it is possible to run report from Sharepoint. Can you please confirmwhether if BA now support sharepoint? If not, any possible reason how this could work?

When I attempt to open a SSRS report, I get the following error: "No authentication cookie has been found for the report server"

One of the customers has faced an issue in BAES. The BAES is hanged due to an error in excel. Background jobs are in Externally executing state since the reports are not getting processed by BAES. There is a huge queue of ordered reports and BAES now can not handle that much of a load even the excel issue is sorted. This is in Apps8 Environment.

When executing a BA report, I get the following error. “Maximum number of rows to retrieve during statement execution”

In App 10 what are the information sources that support Transactional Level Writeback ?
