One of my customer is trying to save BA reports in Sharepoint. Previously it didnt allow users to run BA reports from Sharepoint.

Howevercustomer has now mentioned that it is possible to run report from Sharepoint. Can you please confirmwhether if BA now support sharepoint? If not, any possible reason how this could work?
IFS Business Analytics does not support Sharepoint or any other app used to save Business Analytics reports. However, if the report is downloaded to a local folder, BA will work on that locally saved report as long as no process is accessing that file. Business Analytics will only work with the locally saved reports. If any synching needs to be done, then that third party application (sharepoint, onedrive etc. ) should handle that.

Chamin, we encountered a similar issue while trying to develop and share BA reports before Publishing them into IFS. We used SharePoint to host the BA report files and instructed users to download them to their local PC (C:) drive for testing or development, as BA reports will not run from Network drives. We still currently use SharePoint as the main repository for the master copies of the BA reports published within IFS. Ultimately, once the report is finalized, the best thing to do is to Publish the BA reports into IFS and have users run the reports from within the application. Keep in mind, users will need the BA software installed on their PCs to run any type of BA report, even from within IFS.
