HiWondering if anybody else has encountered this issue - our IT department don’t want users to create a trusted location C:\users\username\dowloads to be able to view output of business reporter reports. Apart from BRES is there any other way users could view report output without creating trusted locationThanksGT

when i install ifs business reporter to any user it raises this error while running the report. sometimes it work but mostly user receive this error, specially with the user with fresh installation.   

When printing an order report, can we print it together with the pdf attached to the attachments? Waiting for your solutions.

Hi, I need to schedule a BR to be sent by MAIL to a distribution list. when I setup a schedule via “Report Schedule”  this report is only available via Report Archive and nothing is sent by mail to the distribution list... even to me if I specify to be sent by Email when finished. what am I missing pleaseThanks   

Can we use bar charts/pie charts in BR reports in design level? Is there any limitations?

I created an Information Source(IS) using an IAL to design a business report. We had to add additional columns to IAL, so I deleted the existing IS and tried create the IS again. I got below error. It seems the IS is not deleted from database. The workaround is to change the view name and create the IS. The issue is then I have to re design the business report. Customer is on 21R2 track. Is there any way to resolve this? Thanks in advance.

Hi all, My business is looking to upgrade to Cloud in the near future, trying to understand lobbies in more detail.I’m struggling to find documentation relating to what appears to be ‘out of the box’ lobby environments, as detailed in the following YouTube video. Taking ‘Discrete Manufacturing’ as an example, are there ready made links to sections detailing Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing etc? What I’m trying to find out is:The links: IFS CENTRAL > INDUSTRIES > MANUFACTURING SOLUTIONS > SOLUTION - DISCRETE MANUFACTURING > MANUFACTURING > MANUFACTURING PLANNINGThis guides me to a lobby detailing manufacturing planning details. Is this lobby out of the box designed? Emailed PDF for MRB case failing to send for some Users. Can’t determine why some users are able to receive emailed PDF while others cannot. Attached is the window in particular. There are, of course, workarounds, however, this window in saves users time and is a logical step. Any ideas? Note: I’ve left email-to-field the blank for the sake of the example.  

In the Business Reporter Execution Server - Currently any report will be sent to background jobs under the default queue. However, some customers want the BR reports to be executed as the highest priority. Is it possible to add any report that goes to BRES to a separate queue?Please see attached screen print for details.

Hello all, Wondered how you can group BA reports together in IFS?For example if I had seven or so finance BA reports and wanted to have them all in a Finance folder in IFS how would I do this?  The above is probably a really simple answer but interested to learn how.thanks allDarren

When I try to preview the report in excel output - order report. Then after ~10 mins system pop up “stream not readable” error.

Hi,I was working with an IFS employee for over an hour last night and they got stuck trying to add a new item to an information source for me. Specifically, I need to add Receipt Line Status into the Purchase Receipts Information Source. The SQL used is listed below. The item was created and populated in my information source but when I ran the report it was blank. I have a strong feeling it is because of Source Ref 4. We have no data in there and my understanding is this is an optional data source we can assign to anything. I do not believe we ever did. Hello,I have a report that returns data results by entering parameters.In other words, the report result is displayed when you enter a parameter.If no value has been entered for the parameter, the report should still be displayed.When the parameter is used as a condition in the query sentence where the report draws data, the rows that do not contain data in the column will not appear in the report.I couldn't find how to display them.How should I write the condition in the query sentence? Can anyone help with this please?Sincerely..

We are in the process of migrating to Aurena and are in the design process. When we go to different screens with in the system, we have to change to table view every time to see all the info we need. Why isn’t the table view the default view?

Hi,I am trying to move a field in report designer. I am using the alt key to move it like the documentation says but either it won’t move or i make the cell bigger. Is there any easy way to move a field. We have hidden a few fields to make more room and now would like to move the fields over. This reporting tool is very frustrating.
