I have seen a couple of other users raise this question but these were some time ago and the answers not really conducive to our environment.  I wonder if there has been any development on this for either Apps9 or in Cloud.   Our Scenario is that we ‘buy’ a KIT from our supplier and that is what we are invoiced for.  What we put into stock are 150 separate inventory parts.  So, yes, a reverse of the Customer Order/Sales ‘Package Parts’  functionality.  Any thoughts/suggestions gratefully received!

Hi Experts, How to make a claim with material replacement ? I know, I can return of material by ‘Return Material Authorization’ (RMA) without ‘create credit invoice’. But how can I material replacement without credit invoice ?  

EDIFACT standards for the ORDRSP message appear to provide for a ORDRSP message if the incoming ORDERS message is rejected (see below), which I take to be in IFS terms then if the incoming order is at status stopped then an ORDRSP message could be returned with a code indicating that the order message (or order change message) has been rejected.UN EDIFACT - If the MESSAGE FUNCTION CODE is a "12", "27" or "29" indicating that the total message was not processed, rejected or accepted. No segments, other than mandatory segments, need be used in the message Header, Detail or Summary sections. However for positive reporting purposes all the segments of the ORDERS or ORDCHG message, being responded to, may be used in ORDRSP. However IFS only appears to be able to send an ORDRSP message once the incoming order has been approved and a customer order created.Has anyone been able to work out how to send an ORDRSP message to customers when their order or order change message is at status stopped

I’m getting following error when un issue materials.“The sum of un issue quantity, qty scrapped and open MRB qty is grater than the issue qty”

We use the Scheduled Database Task 'Automatic Receipt Dispatch Advise' to automatically receive incoming Dispatch Advises.Since Friday, we have been getting the error in the background job “The Inventory Part In Stock object does not exist. ORA-20111: InventoryPartInStock.NOTEXIST2”200+ lines are stuck with this error. How can we identify the part causing this error? 

Hello!I hit a rock wall (again) and I was hoping to get some advice. I have a data source that is a subtable in “Object Serial” looking at the Warranties table. IFS9 by the way View: &AO.OBJECT_CUST_WARRANTY_UIVWARRANTY_SYMPTOM_STATUS = 'Active' and Valid_until > (sysdate - 180) and &AO.CUST_ORD_CUSTOMER_API.get_salesman_code(&AO.Part_serial_catalog_api.Get_owning_customer_no(part_no,serial_no)) = '$Salesman$'And the element URL points toifsapf:frmSerialObject?$filter=Part_no eq $[Part_no] and Serial_no eq $[serial_no]However, when you click on the element, you get an error regarding Valid_until, which is a not a value in Serial Object (it’s from the Warranties subtab). I’m sure there’s a way to bypass the need to use a identifier. Any help?

Hello,We use IFS Enterprise Explorer 9.0.20.0 in our company. We would like to append static PDF files to the reports generated in purchase order part. Even though I searched for a solution on the community, I couldn’t find any usfeul information. Attached are the screens that show up during report generation. Any help is appreciated.

Hi, Does anyone encountered the error message shown below?The work task actual finish date is on 29 March 2024. Trying to change the status of the Work order from Work Done to finish on the latest date, but the below error occur.   Thank you in advance. 

Business Scenario : If someone clocked before 6AM that person should be paid additional payment for the ordinary hours worked. Similar number of ordinary hours requires to be generated in another wage code too(ordinary number of hours should not be deleted). Question : Can this rule configured using Increment Types? If so how to set that? If Increment Types cannot be used what is the functional area that can be used?

Customer is on 23R1 and Event ID “PCM_CALENDAR_GENERATION” (Entity = PmCalendarPlan) is not available. We’ve looked in several customer environments and demo environments and the event seems to ONLY be in demo environments. Has this been deprecated?  

We have faced a problem with using REST sender with client credential flow and when investigating it was found that the problem is with the token fetching request.IFS is sending client id and secret in two places, As basic authentication in the header and the url encoded request body.Seems sending the client secret in the body is faulty.Is this a bug or is there any workaround to not to include the client secret in the token payload.Issue was found in IFS Cloud 22R2 but we observed same problem in Apps10 UPD 16 as well

 One of the customers are requesting a demo with Notify Me for PR authorization but, i'm only seeing notify me allowing authorization of the whole PR at once. Not line wise authorization like in IFS.Same with rejecting, it will reject the first line always, and then again reject the second line. There is no option as such to select which line to reject?Is this the intended behavior or am i missing anything?Thank you in advance

Does IFS cloud has out of the box (pre defined) P&L, Balance sheet and cash flow statement, if yes where to find it. I know the report generator is not available in cloud. Thank you.

Hi, The customer requested to introduce a client script error-handling function for the FSM application. It allows them to attempt to execute code (the try block) and catch any exceptions (errors) that occur (in the catch block), preventing the application from crashing.  Could you please check the above-mentioned enhancement request and try to include this feature in the future UPD version of the FSM application? Thank You.

Hi IFS Community In our business we use a variety of different Part Types in IFS APP10 (Master Part, Sales Part, Purchase Part, Inventory Part & Engineering Part), for example, if you were to look at a Finished Goods part it has a record in all five part types. We have sales parts to allow us to sell goods to customers, Inventory parts for production and storage of raw materials and purchase parts to buy the raw materials from suppliers.  I suppose my question is do we need to have all these different part types, are they all linked, do you have to start with a master part and it replicates all the way down through the other part types? if they are linked is there a document or work instruction/flow to show how everything is linked together?   Only been using app10 for 1 year and trying to get my head round the system set up. Any help would be appreciated.

I am getting an Error of “GL is installed but Code Part Function PRACC is Not Used” It will not allow my project to be a moved to the status of approved. Any idea what I need to do to fix this issue?
