Good day.

We are still battling with an error that we get when trying to modify/edit a Travel Request Option that has been registered.  Specifically, when the TR created is done through the “New Travel Request - Admin” page for an Employee more senior than me.

We have added various TR Access Attributes to the Access Role assigned to me, but we still get the same error:

I have HR Application Manager Access, and Permission Sets have been checked as well.

I would appreciate any suggestions as to what else we can possibly do to resolve this issue.

Thank you.

Anya

@AnGo : Please check following:

  1. Valid primary position is assigned to employee with correct validity period.
  2. Check that Position Access or Supervisor Access assigned to you with valid access role and validity period.

Thanks

Hi,

There are several issues in Travel request - I don’t think you can do this…

I have noticed for example that it is impossible to edit a travel request if there is a line for detail approval … Not even if you are “HR Application Manager”. And you can’t remove that line…

Is the employee employed in the same company as you are? Is it a company structure?

It doesn’t work cross company with matrix structures.

Please log a case with IFS support for these issues!

Regards,

Maria

Hello Vikas and Maria.  Thank you for taking the time to respond to my question.

@ Vikas: Primary Position assigned is correct and valid.  Also, valid Access Role with correct Validity Period in Position Access and Supervisor Access.

@ Maria: We are indeed using Detail Approval (Cost Centers) on Travel Requests.  Employees/Users all in the same Company, not a Matrix Structure.  I sent a mail to IFS Support in November already regarding this but unfortunately got no response.  Is there another way to log a case?

Thank you.

Anya

You log cases to IFS support at Home - Service Center. Customers with support agreements have user accounts here.

Could differ between regions maybe..?? Don’t know
