Hi,it’s possible to use HTML format for an email message triggered from Event. Using HTML tags in Message filed is quite “character” consuming and for text can be just 4000 characters long.Is there any way how to extend message? Does IFS consider to change this limit?Daniel

We are starting our Cloud upgrade project, and are running 24R1.  We configured our system to use ADFS for user login.We’ve run into an issue where the first time a user logs in to the Cloud environment - they press the “login with current user” button and the next screen prompts them to change the password. It doesn’t matter what the user types in for a new password - it doesn’t seem to go anywhere.  This is creating a lot of confusion because users think they are changing their ADFS password - but they aren’t.After the initial login - it doesn’t happen again.Anyone know how to turn this fake “update password” off?

Hi BR experts,I'm preparing a report in Business Reporter, and I've encountered an issue. When the customer orders the report, they receive an empty one, but when I order the same report, I receive a report with data.I tried to recreate this issue, but I couldn't do it until I turned on the debugger.When I turned it on, I received an empty report.Have you ever encountered an issue like this?Do you have any suggestions how to solve it, I mean how to ensure that when the customer orders a report using their credentials, they receive a report with data.I would be grateful for your assistance.Best regards,Adam

I need to split costs by working time employee for few project. Important is that only one person can register time for employees.I tried this by projects managment but in this module everyone need regietser own time.Any idea??

Hi Team,We are having issue in reopen Dec-2023 payroll. When we tried to do the task system is asking to reopen a booked payroll which processed in same month.Can we reopen a booked payroll? What will be the issue here? Can anyone help to resolve?   

Is the only way for an employee to report time to a project through the My Time Registration page? This question is being driven through some issues we have with regards to overall time reporting and the correct setup. We will not use IFS for any attendance/payroll reporting, but still want to track hours the hours of employees to a project. Looking at the employees schedules and rules it looks like the Time Base and Time Registration Time Base have to be set up in order to report hours against a project whereas for shop floor reporting it can function with Time Base - Not Time and Attendance Reporting and Blank for Time Registration Time Base and still record time against a shop order correctly. However with those settings the ability to report time through My Time Registration is disabled. Which makes sense given the options, but since we are not linking with attendance hours is there any other path or what would your recommended setup for Time Base and Time Registration Time base be

The company just installed IFS Cloud and I’m trying to figure out the Inter-company invoicing.When I process the invoice, it debits account 12600 (Trade Receivables) but I need it to debit 12700 (Trade receivables from affiliated companies).  

I am trying to run a report out of Business Reporter, using the GL Transaction info source. If possible, I would like to use the Light Item - Entry Date as a repeater, but only by the day. The system is currently repeating each time stamp. Example, I would like everything by “8/30/24 and 8/31/24” and not “8/30/24 1:23:01PM, 8/30/24 1:23:14PM, 8/30/24 1:25:57PM”. 

Hello, We have a shop order with a main product and a by-product. A user is asking why the by-product does not appear as a supply on the part’s inventory part availability planning page.  Does or should IFS treat a by-product has a supply signal from a shop order? For context, the part that is the by-product is also part of the materials to be issued. Please see attached screenshots below. Any information or context would be appreciated. The same product is added to multiple lines in the same purchase order. When the relevant products are received, the purchasing control analysis opens more than one receiving record for the same order and the same material. I want to do single-entry quality control for the same order, same material but different lines. How can I resolve this situation?   

Community, When I was entering a Parked Supplier Payment, I was requested to enter Series ID. then I am using LOV trying to select one value, but the LOV is empty. Wondering where to have this basic data created? 

Im facing an issue now with PO stgaes (on PO lines) where they receive and the Approval both are showing on the sub project navigator. i was trying to exclude the project in the receiving porsing (M197) but the system doesnt allow me to chnage this setting:At the end it sors itself out but befor the last stage is handled its sitting both in the navigator and connected to the project.. were it gives a drop menu...so it looks like its changeble.. anyone has  a sollution or experience with this one?  

Hi Everyone,I am currently experiencing an issue in the "Prepare Work Order > Requisitions" process. When creating a requisition for a non-inventory purchase part, the system generates a planning line. As we proceed to process the Purchase Requisition (PR) and convert it into a Purchase Order (PO), and subsequently register the arrival for the PO, cost lines are created against the work task.However, if we need to cancel the receipt and the PO, and then reopen the requisition, we encounter a problem. When attempting to delete the PR line, the system displays an error stating that the PR line is connected to a cost line. Furthermore, changing the status of the work task to "Finished" triggers the same error message.This seems like a potential bug to me. Has anyone else encountered this issue, or does anyone have insights on how to resolve it?Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi, Can we set the planning method in the transfer template, so the inventory part has it directly and it’s not just A? In the help, it says it does, but where? Or which field should be added using Page designer? Part Transfer TemplateThe part transfer template is a pre-defined template of inventory part information. It can include part planning information and the planning method. The part transfer template also includes inventory and manufacturing part attributes. It further includes attributes that control the transfer of alternate components defined in engineering. The template can be used in the the conversion from engineering parts to inventory parts, based on the part type. If the template does not exactly match the desired attributes, you can select one of the inventory part windows and update the information. 

I received the question if it is possible to change some default values when opening the rental workbench page. The reason is that some users should only see Purchase order rental type and others can see all rental types. We want to ensure that users cannot make a mistake by selecting the wrong value.I have been able to add default values in different screens with the help of workflows.However on this page, nothing seems to work.I would like to automatically fill in the filter ID or change the toggle value of some rental types to false.If this works, then i can hide the toggle buttons in the page designer, based on the filter ID. In the workflow i use the following:Any idea if i’m doing something wrong or if this is just not possible?I think it might not work because i need to change the values from EMPTY_RENTAL_WORKBENCH_FILTER?

Hi all, Just wanted to know in Cloud if the streams notification is supposed to pop up on already opened pages (the red number). Currently the users don’t get the red number (so they don’t know they have got a notification). It appears if they do a browser refresh. They can see the notification if they manually click on it, though.  TIA

Apps 10 - UPD19Hi All,I have installed a fresh middleware (from the build home) on a Linux Oracle server (running in Oracle OCI). Installation went well with no issues to report.The issue is that when I try to enter IFS (via the IFS landing page), I am getting this error message ..  Any idea what is causing this .. Any assistance.I can confirm that I used the same build home creating a windows based middleware and it fine - just to mitigate a potential issue with the build home itself.
