Could you please help on the request below.

There is a resource which is flagged to not be used in Maintenance but only in  Project

While adding the Employee in the resource manually

The employee is automatically added in the Maintenance section below

Could you please help on understanding if this is a normal/Standard behavior of the system?

I believe that is standard behaviour as, if I recall correctly, then the Employment tab under Maintenance/Service is just a duplicate of information in the Employee tab but filtered by the selected company.

At some point it was true that the Maintenance Employee was only created if the resource was connected to any Maintenance or Service enabled parent resource group but I think that stopped being the case when the Maintenance Resource concept replaced the Maintenance Employee, sometime around IFS Cloud 22R2 if memory serves.
