I have been spinning my wheels trying to figure out how to update this parameter in the demand planner and I can’t for the life of me figure it out. Can someone please point me in the right direction? I can’t modify it in the demand planner values. The biggest issue we have is that for some reason, even though we have this set to only look back 2 years, it’s looking back until 2018 and I believe it’s because of this parameter.

Hi Team,We’ve observed that the current solution in MWO only supports a manual method for retrying failed image uploads, either by reviewing each image individually in the attachments screen or by performing a sync via the Sync Monitor.This approach is inefficient for the customer’s use case, where they upload over 300 images daily as part of their business operations.Therefore, we’d like to request the addition of an automatic retry feature to detect media upload failures, such as those caused by temporary network issues, and reprocess them to sync properly with the IFS Cloud backend. This enhancement would eliminate the need for manual intervention, making the application more user-friendly and effective.Thank you!

Hi, I am trying to integrate IFS Cloud with another system to send data. To send the data first I need to get the access token. For this i am using x-www-form-urlencoded in postman and it works as expected and retrieves the access token correctly.  But if try this as a key value pair, am always getting an error. (Same if i try this from IFS as well). Am I missing anything here? Any help would be appreciated.Thanks!

I have a Workflow where I want to calculate Inventory Accuracy → in order to do this, I need to read all the lines in the CountResultsHandling → Reference_CountingReportLine for the current year.When I inspect the WF, I get the below error:The result set size exceeds either the row limit or the character limit for the Query Collection.What’s the max rows allowed in the Query Collection? Any advice how I could workaround this limitation?Of course, I could further filter the Colelction for a smaller time period, but my customer wants the WF to take into account the data for the full current year. @kamnlk any suggestion will be appreciated. 

Hi, The users are trying to update the tax code but are getting this error message :‘This record is now Active. You can only update the valid to date’ I have tried to inactivate this and the inventory part but that doesnt work. I cant find a valid to date? Any assistance on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated. This is a new product for the business.  Thank you

Currently in the process of setting up an integration in IFS Cloud 24r2Requirements:An External System will generate a CSV file containing the shop order number and place the file into a shared folder (external network) IFS should pick the CSV file up use the shop order no (contained in the file) to retrieve the relevant picklist The picklist information will be returned to the shared drive in required format The External System will retrieve the picklist information and use it to carry out picking, once completed the system will create a new CSV file confirming the completed picks IFS will then pick up this file and used the data to confirm picks in IFS.As the folder is on an external network the vendor of External System has advised that we will need to set up a Gateway to be able to access the shared folder on the external network.Am I correct in assuming that this will require setting up a VPN Gateway in Azure using the External Server network path e.g. \\ExternalServer\Shared alon

Hi guys IFS 24.1.9 So one of my users raised a PO and received the goods. Instead of undoing the inspection result to cancel the PO, he did a supplier shipment and actually delivered it. Now he needs to cancel the PO. Since the shipment status is delivered, there's no way to undo the Supplier Shipment. I was thinking of making an RMA [registering supplier as a customer and the purchase part as a sales part, etc] and then getting the parts on the inventory location, but that also seems not possible. Has anyone done something similar in IFS to undo a delivered Supplier Shipment and thereby cancel the PO? Please let me know. Thanks,Asela

Does anyone have an idea of how to use the POC Method Manual in the financial project of IFS? According to the help description for Manual: “The POC is based on a value manually entered by the user. The method cannot be used by Planning Projects, IFS/Project”. Where or how exactly is this value entered? Would appreciate any help.

Hi,  I understand the steps involved for connecting a part serial to a rental asset, but what isnt clear is what this actually achieves (other than visibility)  What are the drawbacks if this connection isnt made? Is it mandatory that this is done for Rental assets, if so, why? hoping somebody can shed some light here :) ThanksJames

Hi All, When we try to send files from application to FTP server, following error message appear in the application message screen.Caused by: java.io.IOException: Error while writing to file [EDI810_CD18369111827.xml] However, once we change the FTP details (FTP reader) error changed to “Error during file sending Caused by: java.io.IOException: Could not login to FTP(S) server”. Therefore it seems the communication to FTP server working correctly.Note - We can access the FTP from file transfer software (WinScp/Filezilla) to place files in the FTP server using same credentials/details.

Hi Team,We are unable to create new customer; it’s giving the below error as “DNG Customers must be created through Salesforce”The error only coming for Singapore clients and China clients are able to create customer easily. all team belongs to Standards integration and not DNG

Hi All,Are you familiar with a solution that can permanently remove all detached document revisions from the system (Customer is using Applications 10)?Additionally, the deletion process needs to identify and remove documents based on their attached date — specifically, those attached more than five days ago (Attached_Date < SYSDATE - 5). I'm also exploring whether it's possible to separate attachments (e.g., PDF, JPEG files) from BLOB entries in the IFSAPP_LOB table, assuming this is where the documents are stored.Any suggestions on how to approach this would be greatly appreciated.Thank you.Kind regards,Santhushi D.

Hi IFS! Is there a way for IFS users to provide feedback within IFS after successfully completing something? My product team is configuring IFS to enable our end users to complete their work in a better process than before. We would like to capture their feedback on completing their work in IFS right after they successfully complete a something, so that we can get their feedback while it’s fresh in their minds, and can configure IFS to better meet their needs. I am envisioning some kind of side panel, small window, or modal that prompts users to give a brief rating or description of their experience completing their work. Please see below examples to illustrate what I mean. Does anything like this exist today in IFS? Is there anything we can leverage that can meet our need?   Thank you! Best,Michelle Young 

I recently attended the IFS Academy training course called “RESTful API Integration Development - IFS Applications 10” which explains how use IFS Connect to build IFS Apps 10 interfaces using restful APIs. I’ve have been trying to apply what I learned but cant get it to work :-( I’m calling a rest API of another platform to obtain some XML data, and then use a callback function to create some records in IFS based on the returned XML data. The Rest API call is working, and is returning the expected XML, but there’s an issue with my Callback function. Here’s what I’ve done so far... I used postman to confirm the URL and parameters needed for the external Rest API.In IFS Connect, I created a Routing Address pointing to that external Rest API, and created a 2nd routing address of type “PL/SQL” which calls “plsql_Rest_Sender_API.Rest_Common_Callback”.I also created an outbound routing rule which links these two routing addresses. I crated a PL/SQL method named “Get_XML_Data” which calls the

Hello to all,we are going to update from 23R2 SU17 to 25R1. Now we have a fresh 25R1 installation, and we are testing it on our data. We know resource assignment has been made more flexible, apart from the person resource type, the other resource types are supported in 25R1 and can be assigned to a project activity.To date, our users have utilized the Project Employee Allocations screen to manage these allocations. Now we can see that the Project Employee Allocation screen is discontinued. The same is true with the Resource Shift Pattern Mapping page.Are there any replacements for these two screens in 25R1?Thank you very muchBest regardsAntonin

Hi,When we revoke the approval of the order quotation, order quotation line Revision No is remain unchanged. but when we check the Request Lines History, we can see that the Revision No is captured.  Is this the standard behavior or a bug?  Thank you!
