Hi All, Can someone kindly let me know whether we can use the below external file type to load a payment where the loading company is different from the payment company?I couldn't find any field which enables this option in the file type. 

I am trying to figure out how I can get IFS Apps 10 to either listen on a different domain name or use a reverse proxy. For example, use ifs-prod.domain.tld for internal and use ifs-prod.ext.tld for external. I’ve tried NGINX and it seems to always want to redirect me to the base url after logging in. I’ve also tried adding another virtual host in the mod_mws_ohs.conf, which listens on that port/url, however it still wants to force redirects to the base url.. Is it because the base url is hardcoded in weblogic? I’ve read some post that some are not setting this, but that could potentially lower security, if you were worried about hardening, and typically it’s best practices to do so. I’ve tried all sorts of different rewrite rules and such with both Apache on the MW server and on the reverse proxy server.. Any ideas?

Hi all,I am currently with a client that are in the process of upgrading from apps10 to Cloud, 24R2.One of the questions raised was how to view changes made to minor revisions of a document, between major revisions. It seems that when I check out a document, edit it, check in, the last version is overwritten so no one can see or compare the two versions. For example, in SharePoint I can view every change to each minor or major revision of a document.How do we, or can we do his in Cloud?Thanks in advance,Darrin

Hi,There is a migration job to create or update suppliers. We want to add ‘30’ prefix for the supplier id if the the supplier is a new supplier. I’m having an issue trying to get the refilling of a remote warehouse from inventory to work and I’m not sure what I’m missing. It will generate Purchase Reqs but not Transport Tasks. We are on 10UPD22.I set up the QI warehouse as a remote warehouse. Auto refill and a putaway destination are checked. Storage requirements validation is excluded at the site level.There is a single location of picking typeI created a storage zone with the remote warehouse in it. Then added that storage zone as a Putaway Zone with ranking of 1.The remote assortment is set up with about 10 items and refill source of Inventory. I switched one item to purchased and it worked and created a purchase requisition. The assortment is tied to the site and QI warehouse. 

Question to the configuration and framework gurus: Is it possible to configure hierarchical LoVs using custom fields? We often see this use case in failure trees, where up to 5 fields are populated to categorize a problem (and potentially present suggested solutions).For example, in Field1 you can choose 1, 2, 3. When you select 1, Field2 offers 1.1, 1.2, 1.3. When you select 1.3, Field3 offers 1.3.1, 1.3.2, 1.3.3, etc. You get the idea. 😁In Structured Failure Management we have a 3-level tree, so somehow it seems to be possible, but ideally I’m looking for a solution that works in Page Designer.Appreciate your help.

I have an element based on an IAL pulling data from Inventory Transaction History that is setup to take the user to Inventory Transaction History once clicked. The filters I have are for excluding several strings that would show up, and works fine when drilled into. The problem happens when you filter the dates in ITH after being taken there. It doesn’t use the prior filters on Description. Is their a way to fix this so you can query the dates whilst the initial element filters stay?

24.2.6I have an approved Export License for which I have defined View Access rights for a specific user. This user has been granted Documentation Access in Export Control Authorizations. This user is not a Document Administrator nor is this user listed on the Access tab of the document revision.The released document revision (a pdf file) is Export Controlled with Access rights via Export License = YES and is attached to the Export License.This user can view the document through the Attachments panel on the Export License.BUTThis user does not have the View Document command available at the Document Revision.

I suspect I may be missing something obvious but looking for help with this.Apps10. We have documents (e.g. Calibration documents) of a particular Document Class that were attached to records (Manufacturing Tools) in the past.At the time of the files being attached/uploaded the Document Class in question had incorrect access configured.This has now been fixed, so that the correct Document Groups now have access to this Document Class, however none of the existing files are not retroactively inheriting these permissions.  New files of the same Document Class that we attach now have corrected access controls, but the old ones remain unchanged in terms of access.How can we update the access permissions on existing documents of a specific Document Class to get the current correct access that is assigned to that same Document Class? Is there an additional step or script that I need to run to force this change to apply to previously

Is it possible to configure the mail sender with Oauth2 in IFS Connect in the IFS 10 UPD24 version? I know that this is possible in IFS Cloud according to the article "Configuring IFS connect mail sender Oauth2 client credential flow with office365" but we want to do this on IFS10regards Daniel 

We are using production schedules for production reporting in IFS cloud. Our desired behavior is to have material consumed in the order that it was received into the inbound location. Our understanding is that IFS uses “receipt date” which is when that incoming material was produced (or received if raw material).  Our only solution right now has been to assign a different expiration date to the material that was moved into that location so we can tell it the proper order. This uses the priorities then in warehouse management. This is not ideal as it requires more interaction and management of expirations. Is anyone aware of another option for how we can consume material based on when it was moved into the inbound location for that production line?

We have a problem at IFS Cloud 24.2.4. At unpredictable times, the system stops generating any PDF reports, and we are forced to restart the system. Actions like clearing the report queue or deleting the report node do not help. The error message is provided below. Is there any improvement we can implement or any memory increase or monitoring steps we should consider? We currently have 2 nodes in the reporting cluster.The report might contain errors or the nodes might not be able to handle the reports which were concurrently executing with the available resources.Regards.

Hi,I am receiving an error in 22R2 when trying to create a new employee. This error occurs with both a new Person ID and an existing Person ID. Any guidance would be appreciated.Note - the existing Person ID does not have any other employment. 

One of customer having initially having PROD environment (Middle Tier server) with 12 CPU and 32Gb memory and we set scale as 10. if we increase scale 20,30.. PODS not getting started, in this case when customer is using the application reporting POD getting crashed.After that we increased hardware sizing like 24 CPU and 64Gb memory, we setup scale as 100.then PODS getting started and Application is up and running without any issues and reporting pods working properlyNow, the issue is customer checked the hardware utilization of MT server and its using only maximum 24Gb memory only and less CPU usage.Customer want justification for the above query, why the MT server not being used even 40% of allocated memory. Can someone justify? 

We have a customer who is seeing unexpected changes to a lobby page in IFSAPPS10 - we are looking for options to track changes to this lobby layout.Lobby elements are not being added or removed but are being moved to different locations and dividers/separators are being removed.The history on the overview page only shows the last time the lobby was updated and who it was created by - NOT who it was last edited by.We have checked permissions for lobby editing and there is only a small number of users with the ability to make changes to the lobby layouts.We have also enabled the “Protect Configuration” option in the lobby design page - changes have still been made. We don’t believe

Hello IFS Experts, in IFS Cloud Aurena page, we can configure Aurena page to add new command group by Page Designer. The user could set up Label/Action/Method...Once the command group by saved/published, it’s not possible to view the properities any more. Only the name/label will shown by click the Content. The user cannot review the value of the Action/Method/Parameters of the command. If the user forgot what he did, he only can know exact action/method of the custom command by debug tool. If he want to revise the action/method/parameters, he cannot edit it based on existing command. The only way is delete existing command and recreate a command. Is it a good desgin in IFS?
