Hello,

I am working on a project with standalone PSO and I cannot see Simulation Workspace, even though I should have all the permissions to view it.

Based on your knowledge, could this be something related to the installation steps? Or is there something I need to check within the environment that I am missing?

Can someone advise me?

Thanks

Stefania

Hi Stefania,

can you see the Simulation Service under Administration > Applications and Simulation Database under Administration > System Diagram? If not, then it’s not installed.

Also, the “SimulationWorkspace” permission has to be enabled on your user.

Further, for running WISE an additional license will be required as well as the permission “SimulationWISE” granted.

Best regards
Roman

We recently had the same issue on our demo instances. Final post from a colleague:

It happened to me that all of my permissions and parameters in PSO (operated via IFS Cloud Ventechi, yet running w/o Cloud datasets) were reset to their default value already twice today. This most likely causes the issue of OSV and other functionalities (such as mapping) being unavailable temporarily. If you find that PSO no longer has these options enabled, please check permissions and parameters again, especially the parameter "MapProvider".

Thank you. The simulation service is not installed.
