Hello IFS community, I have a question regarding how the Lot Size Based Product Structure works. Here is a short summary of what I tested:Product Structure  - Lot Size Structure – Anything bigger than 23 pcs should have Alternate “1” and anything smaller should use alternate “*”.I then master scheduled 35 pcs of this part number in one day. My Planning details for lot sizing are set as follows: Max lot size set to 25 pcs (no min or Std).Result – Two Shop Order requisitions: 1 with 10 lot size and one with 25 lot size but BOTH with alternate 1 (only for lots bigger than 23). EXPECTED result: Two Shop Order Reqs: 1 with 10 and one with 25 but with different PRODUCT ALTERNATES. In this case, we are trying to tell IFS to use a different packaging for when we make 25 pcs Lot size. I read in the link below that only MRP checks through Lot Size Based Product Structure:Selecting Product Structure Alternate while performing MRP/MS in App-9 | IFS Community Is this true or am I facing a bug? Hello Community,I’m currently performing returns on prepare work orders and have encountered a situation I hope someone can help clarify. When I return a part to inventory, I get the option to select a cost bucket ID. I typically choose cost bucket ID 110, but when I review the transaction history, I notice that the cost bucket displays as '*'.Is there a specific logic or reason behind this behavior? I’m particularly observing this with standard cost parts, so I’m curious if there’s something specific to those items that might be causing this discrepancy.Any insights or experiences you can share would be greatly appreciated!

Hello Community,I'm facing an issue with the Data Migration Manager. Whenever I deploy records that include dates, the time is being interpreted as 12:00 PM instead of 12:00 AM, which leads to a "resource not found" error.For example: 1/1/2000 12:00 PM is being used, but it should be 1/1/2000 12:00 AM.I've tried modifying the date format in the legacy file, but that hasn't resolved the issue.Thank you for your support.

Hi,I have activities that are unallocated in PSO that have been sent from IFS Cloud (24R2). When checking the explanations, I am receiving the following message as an example for an activity. "Activity 158727 cannot be scheduled. The activity is only available outside of the scheduling window."  Where can I determine the scheduling window or configure it so it can be allocated to a resource?  Best,Anthony 

Hello,I’m currently working with Kanban processes in IFS App10, and I’m exploring the possibility of integrating RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification) technology with our Kanban containers.The main idea is to automate the process so that users don’t have to manually execute the transportation tasks when the containers return to the warehouse or designated location.Is this type of integration supported in IFS App10? Thanks in advance!

We are looking to find a way to zero out and add back our inventory quantities, as that is a requirement to move from FIFO to Standard Costing and Allow Negative OnHand. Long story short, IFS deprecated deferred backflushes from Apps10 on.We are in IFS APPS8 but upgrading to Cloud. We want to do this change before said upgrade.Does anyone have any ideas how to do this is a script or batch manner?We have engaged IFS to provide with a script but they’re not really coming thru, and our implementation partner doesn’t want the liability -if they provide the script and somehow that fails and messes our data.We would need one method/script/batch to zero out our Inv Part in Stock quantities, and another to add the quantities back, in-between us make the inventory part changes and rolling costs.Our partner suggested that maybe a script using Issue Inventory Part and Receive Inventory Part, but the problem there is that the receive method changes the receipt date. Is it possible to turn off forecast consumption entirely in Master Schedule?We have parts with forecast consumption of 0 (backwards and forward). If actual demand and forecast of the part lands on the same day, the forecast is still consumed. We forecast in monthly buckets and manually delete forecast as actual orders are entered. For this reason both the forecast and actual demand need to be counted towards generating supplies. Regards!Eric

Hi all. I’m testing UPD24 Apps10 with MWO Maintenance 10.As i try to attach a picture from camera, the app is stuck in Media detail screen and does noting after the message: “Getting location data. Please wait.” All the permissions are given to the app. No powersave set up. Tried with motorola(androd 12) and samsung(android 14). Already clear cache and data, also deleted the user’s device. Is there anything else I can do or it may be a bug? tried android and windows.  

Hi community,One of our users came across the following error when trying to initialize the MWO Services app in IFS Cloud. I’ve tried looking into this any haven’t come across much information. Does anyone know what may cause this error or how to go about fixing it?The user logged in again and the app has been trying to initialize for over 4 hours. They have successfully logged into the app and used it in the past, but recently had been asked to sync again because the database configuration had changed.Any help is appreciated,Thanks.

I have created a Logic Apps Custom Connector (imported the OpenAPI v3 definition into Postman and used the Postman collection for the connector) with the following security settings:The connection is created successfully and the Logic App using the new connector works perfectly. However, running the same Logic App again after 2 hours I get a 401 error “scope=\"openid microprofile-jwt\" error=\"invalid_token\" error_description=\"jwt signature verification failed: 'exp' claim expired at Wed, 09 Apr 2025 07:19:43 GMT\”Reviewing the Connection I see“On the connection I get "Failed to refresh access token for service: oauth2. Correlation Id=5b637509-4626-4d68-a5ad-0a1fdb3da129, UTC TimeStamp=4/9/2025 9:20:08 AM, Error: OAuth 2 access token refresh failed. Client ID and secret sent in form body.. Hi,When we create a mixed payment for the Advance Customer Invoice, it will create the payment line with PP36 for which the reference numbers will be CUPIA 1, 2….In this case, how to find out the actual invoice numbers for the payment reference. We are facing issue while writing the code for matching the CUPIA reference numbers with the actual invoice numbers. Can anyone please help.
