Hi All,I need to set up a scenario in employee time card as below, Can someone help me to set the rule type and balances etc for this .The employee works overtime one hour in the morning and then takes 2 hrs of  absence in the afternoon. (Work schedule 7:00 - 15:30 ,0,5lunch)) In his reporting absence wage code overtime subtract is “Overtime Reduced” Hence Employees can never be paid overtime until full scheduled time has been fulfilled so the overtime is reduced. The reduced overtime should shown as an information line on the absence wage code. 

Issue:‘Parent Organization Code’ does not change, after moving the organization units between other organization units.     Steps:Go to Graphical Organization Structure window. Then you can move the organizational units between other organizational units (you can drag and drop the organizational units). Before doing it, please notice that ‘Parent Organization Code’ of ‘SUB LEVEL 02’ is ‘LEVEL 01’.Then move (Drag and Drop) ‘SUB LEVEL 02’ organization unit to ‘LEVEL 02’. But ‘Parent Organization Code’ does not change to ‘LEVEL 02’. 

Dear alllooking for IFS Cloud Timeclock users who can help me understand why they constantly go “offline” in the sense that the token fails to get renewed and they appear offline. Only a browser cache clear and login again resolves the issue. Having 15 around the world, this happens very frequently, and more frequently since upgrading to 24R2.In the browser network logs we see the regular GetServerTime() every minute, and a Post token every 5 minutes where it gets a new token (also seems to create a new session in IFS rather that reusing the existing one, and rather than using refresh tokens).Once in a while, completely random, that token refresh fails, with a 504, after which the clock becomes completely unusable, and only a clear cache helps.Any help appreciated, IFS claims non-reproduceable so far, though we have it with

Hello, I am doing a few quick reports and what would help me is a full list of the available out the box functions within IFS.  At present i am using joins, but have noted that there are far easier ways of achieving the same results via functions. I have seen and made use of the following in some of my Quick reports. ifsapp.Comm_Method_API.Get_Default_Value('PERSON',t.person_id,'PHONE') Personal_Contact_Phone,ifsapp.Comm_Method_API.Get_Default_Value('PERSON',t.person_id,'MOBILE') Mobile_Number,ifsapp.Comm_Method_API.Get_Default_Value('PERSON',t.person_id,'E_MAIL') Personal_Email, Is there somewhere that I can find a comprehensive list of the available functions?Thanks,Noel 

Hello!Is there any possibility to configure Terminate Employment Configuration in IFS Cloud similar to the IFS version 10? Whereas the older environment offers “HR Assistant Configuration” with “Type” (such as New Employee/New Expense/Terminate Employment), in IFS Cloud I can not find anything like that. Despite three possible options in Cloud (Mandatory Steps Only/With Employee Assignments/With All The Steps), I miss little more detailed settings. Thank you for any tips or tricks! Best regardsb.d

Hi! A customer encounter the following messages when terminating  employees in IFS 9. This issue has been going on for a while making the use of the assistantWould anyone happen to know what might be causing this, or have come across something similar? Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated! 1.We also have another similar error message (sorry for the swedish) Translation: Field [SEQ_NO] is mandatory for Employee Status Details and must have a value.  Would you have any ideas ​@ADDMARIAE ?  Thanks!

Hello all, Currently working in IFS 10 Update 11, IEE - we’re noticing that on the Time Clock, the List of Values for  Operation ID on the Stop Production and Report Qty Complete buttons are not consistent. This is happening even though the LOV view for both of the buttons is exactly the same. Here’s a screenshot from the Time Clock Type Detail Items for those two buttons:Both of these buttons take Employee No and Op ID as the editable inputs. For the Stop Production Button, once you enter the employee no, the list of values for Op ID shows any operation that the employee is clocked in to. However, for the Report QTY Complete button, the employee number is not passed into the query, leaving a huge list of operations to select from instead of a few. We’ve also tried messing around with the “LOV Where” column for the R

Hi All,I need some assistance implementing automatic day type switches in cloud.Is it possible to see whether a day type switch has been activated - which screen please?Is it possible to use the day type switch when logging in/out times in the time card or time card details screen? I have seen some older documentation which suggests this can only be used in conjunction with time clock.but this additional detail is missing from the 24R2 documentationI have created the automatic day type switch 

Let’s say we are on 25 may 2025, and the month of apris is already closed, users are still able to enter time on account dates during april and they are not blocked until it goes to accounting. Is there a way we can block at the time registration ?

Hi everyone,I’m currently logged in as an HR user in IFS Cloud and have noticed that I can view the documents of my manager(supervisor), who is also part of the HR department. Hello, Is there an easy way in the Human Capital Management module to restrict managers from being able to approve their own expense sheets? Currently, their own expense sheets show in: Human Capital Management>Manager Services>Expenses>Expenses to Manage And they have the ability to approve the expense from there (even though we have asked them not to). I am not extremely familiar with this module, so I may be missing an obvious solution here. We are using IFS Cloud 24R1U4 Thank you! 

Hi All,I'm having some difficulty defining an access role where a user can only remove authorizations.Specifically, an HR employee is responsible for performing a final check and must be able to remove authorizations, bot project input and attendance, but not authorize them. The authorization action is reserved for another role.The deletion of the input is also not needed - the person only needs to remove the authorizations.Does anyone have suggestions on how we can define this kind of role in the cloud environment?Thanks in advance!

When swipe the card time clock  machine shows below error Field [ABSENCE_TYPE_ID] is a required field for leave requests and requires a value. It has enabled the card driven execution for absence request in time clock and  Access granted via access role connected time clock user used to setup the time clock Has anyone encountered this issue before or knows the reason behind it

Good day.  We added a CompanyID to the Person Name (after the Surname).  In the Employee File though we would like to only have the Name and Surname of the Employee Displayed without the CompanyID behind the Employee Surname.Please can you assist with correct steps to take to ensure Employee Name displays as required?Thank you.Anya

After entering an entertainment expense item, a new box called “No Agenda” pops up. However, we don’t know where such an agenda should be added.We’ve tried filling out all empty field (References, text fields, etc.), there is a guest list registered, we’ve also added attachments to the expense lines.Does anybody know how this works?We are using IFS Cloud. 

In our setup, employees report time via FEND linked to IFS. Currently, the time reporting window shows upcoming weeks as well, allowing users to enter time for future dates.We need to restrict time reporting to the current week only, either by hiding future weeks or triggering a validation error if attempted.Is there a way to configure or customize this behavior?Thanks, Vihanga

The Specifice Sales Prices has a field for Markup Percentage and Markup Price.  Neither of these are editable and are not able to be set when create a new row.  How is this supposed to work?  How would I go about changing these fields.  I can set these values when working wth the Standard Sales Price.Thank you.Patrick
