Curious to know if anyone can validate in a version later than 23R1 if this issue still exists.  Image showing the search used.When using the Performance Evaluations - Global view to search for an employees evaluation. We are using the Time Clock function for our employees and I have a recurring issue whereby an employee will have booked a half day of annual leave and clock out at the half day point or just after. When the employee clocks out, it is causing the absence to become ‘unlinked’ as the system seems to think the employee didn’t take the time off (they did) and gives them the entitlement back. Has anyone encountered this issue and know how to resolve it?

I'm hoping to understand if there's a recommended approach, or if these are known limitations: MWO and HR integration Why don’t the MWO (Mobile Work Order) and HR modules work more seamlessly together? For example, time reporting in MWO seems to only support working hours. If a technician needs to report overtime, extra time, or absence, they have to switch to another window. Is there a plan to make this more unified? Surveys As I understand it, surveys can be added as raw data in the web app but can't really be processed or analyzed there. Is that correct? When approving a single expense sheet, I receive a warning message if there’s an outstanding advance for the employee.However, when approving multiple expense sheets at a time, I do not receive any warning messages for any outstanding advances.Does anyone know why it will only warn me when approving a single expense sheet and not when approving multiples at a time? 

Hi all, I’m running into a strange issue with a REST API endpoint.When I hit the endpoint in the browser (while logged in), I get the expected JSON data. Right now, our IFS setup only allows an employee to request an absence for a full day or a half day, either starting at the beginning or end of the day.  We would like them to be able to set start and end times for their absence (say, for example, I have a dentist appointment in the afternoon and need to request 2 hours off from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., but then will return to finish my day.)  When I enter an absence request, I have “time from” and “time to” available and it allows me to type into the box, however as soon as I press Save the times go away. Any suggestions of what I need to set up in order to save those times in the absence request?

Can anyone please confirm what options we have within IFS to set up a data retention policy I.e. How long data is stored before it is deleted?We would need this to be different depending on the product range so not the same policy across the whole environment. This is to comply with UK privacy laws.

Hi,The Time Card screen works in such a way that it only displays data for employees who are active within the specified date range. If I have a terminated employee, I can't search for them in this window. To view the data, I have to change the date range using another active employee and then search for the terminated one.In my opinion, this screen is poorly designed because the dates can only be changed in the context of a selected employee. In previous versions of IFS, the date fields were in the header, which didn't cause this issue.IFS replied that the behavior of this screen is in line with the standard.What do you think about this?Best regards,Krzysztof

Hi,All employees are connected to a cycle schedule without daytypes. If an employee send in a absence request for parental leave 50% for the period 2025-10-01 to 2026-03-31, how should that be filled in? Should we set “hours per day”? Do we need to set any “registration mode”?When is “Half Day Only” used? Regards,Karolina

Hi, we were surprised to realize that the standard HR LTU Licence provides access to the view “Employment Information” without any restriction. This view provides the global list of all our employees along contact data. That’s obviously a breach of data protection rules and as it is linked to LTU licence we cannot block it at permission set level. So is there a parameter somewhere that we may have forgotten or activated that provides such extensive data access ?In the below picture I’m logged with such LTU licence and i could fetch information from any company, not only the one I’m assigned with.

Hello,We are upgrading from IFS 10 (IEE) to Cloud.  Some of our “10” users access the Time Clock from their laptops.  Is it possible for an IFS “end-user” to access the the Cloud Time Clock?  We have Time Clock IAM (service user) Clients working but would like the added flexibility.Thanks!  Troy

Hi All, I noticed that our HR users can fill Employee’s Education Details and Save it. But once HR user refresh the screen, it will become disappeared. But IFSAPP owner can see the entered record. I checked the permission set and all required permissions to the Education Tab have been given.Do we have any property to be enabled or ant other configuration? 

TIME CLOCK USER LICENSE EXCEEDED 

Good Afternoon Community. I hope that someone is able to jhelp me with this.I am setting up and testing Expense rules in Cloud 22 R2. I have set up Entertaining rules for non-staff flagged as reimbursable. The expenses line states reimbursable, but the amount claimed is excluded from the total - see example below Gross amount = 579 GBP, Reimbursable amount = 429 GBP. I have included the guest information.Have I missed some other set up?

I have used the Absence section to view absences within a rang, but employees that have overlapping dates will not be shown.  Example, if an employee (Barry) is off from the 26th of April to the 7th of June, if I run a report in May for employees that are absent in May, Barry will not be shown as their absence started in April and ends in June.  Is there a way to see Absences for employees that are absent for today (the day the request was ran) or absent in the region that I selected (regardless of their start date but the fact that they have a absence in that period)? 

Hi,One of our customer(using IFS Apps-10), has changed their HR calendar from July-June to January-December. Now, from July’22- De’22 they will get the leave balance equal to that they would be getting for the full year, i.e. July’22- Jun’23. And from Next January’23 they will be having new leave balances. Can anyone suggest, how can this be handled easily and efficiently?Regards-Nahin
