Hi Community From this screen I can grant HR Manager access. It works. However, it applies to all the companies at once right? How shall I grant access to only one company? Not position access, I just want to grant HR access to Peter for the Company 10 above. The employee is a multi company employee and that has to be retained. Otherwise I can easily take off the access to the companies other than company 10 and grant HR Application Manager Access.Thanks,Asela

We are trying to give a sub set of users access to the work contact details for all employees in a particular company.We do not want to grant supervisor access to this subset of users.There doesn’t appear to be a access attribute which gives access to the correct LU/area.We are already using protected persons to hide access to personal address details (and give access to a very small number of users - different to those needing work contact details access).We might be able to use projection grants to limit the access to unnecessary areas of the person/employee file.Can anyone suggest a suitable method to allow a user access to work contact details without exposing other HR data? Hello,IFS 25R1. HCM module has very flexible access settings. There are 2 blocks of settings: Supervisor Setup Configuration and Access Setup Configuration. Access Setup Configuration is the block of settings responsible for the access the user-employee can have access to other employees (simple example is the list of employees).My question is regarding Supervisor Setup Configuration block. It has 3 options (see attached) and I can’t notice the impact on access functionality switching between those options. The only thing I noticed: option Team and Supervisor allows to apply Supervisor directly at personal or employee files.What is the panned impact on access functionality of Supervisor Setup Configuration block?Regards,Roman.
Hello,In Position Access Setup there is a possibility to switch on Including Position subordinates. Afterwards new employees at pointed position will be able to see employees at current and lower positions.But in Position setup there is a filter by Organization as well. It is possible to switch on Organization subordinates as well. But manually. So every time when employee gets assignment on the position he can see employees in his organization, not employees in lower organizations.Please think about settings where it’s possible to set up automatic switch on for Include Organization subordinates on Supervision - access setup form.
Hello Community, I’m trying to find a solution for a “Saturday Paid Lunch” (0.5 Hr.) when the employee(s) are not present. Every Saturday, I need 0.5 Hr. of “Normal” on the Time Cards, workers or not. My solution at the moment, … I’m treating (and testing) the lunch time as PHC event, every Saturday. Is there any other way to do this without weekly “trigging” for each time card?? Thanks!Cheers, Troy
Hello,In our current IFS Cloud 25R1 setup, we have noticed that the standard expense process works as follows: The employee submits the expense sheet. The line manager reviews and approves it. The finance team must then authorize the expense sheet before it can proceed to payment. For our business process, once the line manager approves an expense, we would like it to be ready for payment without requiring the authorization step.My questions are: Is there any configuration setting in IFS Cloud 25R1 that allows us to remove or bypass the finance authorization step entirely? If not, has anyone implemented a workaround such as a custom event, workflow modification, or any other tailoring to achieve this? Are there any risks or limitations we should be aware of if we remove this step? Any guidance, examples, or documentation references would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help!
In "My Time Registration", the "Status" button that used to show the different statuses no longer exists in version 24R2 — only the "Confirm" button remains. Is there a configuration setting to bring back all the status options, or how can I restore them?

Hi,I would like to ask about the use of the TX5 posting control type (expense allowance) in the context of the Travel Request and Expense Sheet.Currently:While creating a travel request, I submit an advance payment for the employee under the payment section.After authorization, the payment is executed and a voucher of type S is generated with posting controls EP1 and EPX.The entire amount is posted as a liability – I do not get any cost posting for this amount.What I would like to achieve:I would like the advance to be posted as a cost, and from what I understand, TX5 is intended for this purpose.The problem is that I don’t know when or how I can use TX5.I would greatly appreciate any help or guidance on how to set this up and use it properly.Best regards,Kamil
Hello!I am struggling with absences in “Resource Monitoring Gantt”. Whereas a planned absence in any status in not visible - which is reasonable for me - absence request is not visible neither in “Approved” status nor in any other status. How is a manager supposed to plan with incomplete data? Or do I something wrong? Otherwise absence request approved by supervisor is in my point of view serious enough to be part of Resource Monitoring Gantt.How do you see this issue? Thank you in advance, best regardsb.d
Hello,We are running into an issue where an employee is not showing up in Time Registration before a certain date. Their start date is about a month and a half before that date, and they have valid job assignments from their start date, but they “don’t exist” in time registration between their start date and about a month and a half afterwards. Has anyone else encountered this and know how to fix it?Thanks!

Can anyone point me in the right direction on this error we have? .’Arguments used to execute current operation are not allowed’ If the employee tries to book time to a project he gets the error. If I, as a full IFS user book the same time to the project for the same employee i can do so.. The employee was able to book time ok, during week 1 but since then not. I have check the project, resource group etc etc Thank you !
In our IFS Cloud environment, the extracted organizational structure is based on active employees and their reporting relationships. However, the current chart does not display vacant positions.For example, if a manager resigns, their position is removed from the chart, and the reporting line is redirected to the next higher-level position.What I would like instead is an org chart based on positions or roles, rather than individuals. The chart should reflect which positions report to which, so the full company structure—including vacant roles—is visible. Ideally, employee names should be included where applicable, and positions without an incumbent should be marked as “Vacant" Can you please provide some insight on how to get these results..

Hi We are implementing Cloud this year and have a requirement from our HR team to use the Query Designer to build their own adhoc custom reports and queries for day-to-day HR Operations.We are not sure how we can set up the correct security and permissions for them. Is there a way to restrict access in the query designer so that they would be able to build their own queries from the HR tables and never see any queries used / built by other teams such as Finance? They should only access to build and use their own custom queries. Any help or ideas would be much appreciated! Thanks.
In IFS Cloud, when using the new employment wizard in another language other than English, I cannot complete the process. I must save it as a draft and switch my language to English. Then go back to wizard, open the saved draft and then I am able to complete (Finish) the new employment wizard. Has anyone else experience this? Is there a solution?

When user try to edit, it will always validate based on training durationWhen user try to modify the dates into ‘Training Events’ overview page, system will allow to modify and it doesn’t validate with based on training duration.This seems to be bug and need to be resolved. Hi, I want to navigate from a lobby element to Time Card Day, but it always goes today’s date and then you need to change date manually in the view. Does anyone know if there is a way to set which date I want to see in the navigation ? And if so, how?In my element (list) I have account_date, emp_no. For now in my navigation I have ifsapf:frmTabPersonalInfo?filter=emp_no eq $[emp_no]Is there a way to pass account_date as well? This is IFS 9. Thanks
