After terminating and subsequently rehiring an employee, users encounter the error “Employee is not valid” when attempting to report time transactions. Additionally, the employee does not appear as an available option under the Assignee field in work tasks.


What could be causing this issue? Could you please advise?

Does the employee have status = Active?

If you have invalidated the termination, and check if the employee still have the end date in the “application base setup > company” window. if so you can remove it
