Customer: ADM PROTEXIN LIMITEDContact person: Neil Sturgess Parent Company has a Data Lake and following on the response to case CS0063075, as suggested we are creating IALs in the IFSINFO schema for each view they are requesting.Whilst this works, they are asking for views of our General Ledger (81m rows) and Inventory Transaction History (4.7M rows) which have lots of static data in them.I was wondering whether IFS has changed its policy to allow its Cloud hosted Customers to use Qlik Replicate to do a one of copy of the database and then keep the two databases up to date by replicating the changes?This would reduce the requirement to copy vast chunks of static data that the current method requires replicating. 

I have a projection function which looks like below.function GetInvoiceList List<Structure(ListInvoiceResponse)> {   parameter CompanyId Text;   parameter ContactPersonId Text;   parameter CustId Text;   parameter InvoiceId Text {      required = [false];   }   parameter FromDate Date;   parameter ToDate Date;   parameter PageSize Integer;   parameter PageNumber Integer;}As you can see InvoiceId has required marked as false. However, when I deploy this function, API explorer documentation still shows InvoiceId as required parameter. How do I make a paremeter optional?

Hello.In Inventory Part in Stock, most of our users want to have a filter where Quantity on Hand is greater than zero. This is possible with search and adding that field and condition there, but we want to make it default to anyone that brings up a list in that page.I have read the documentation here: (https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/23r1/040_tailoring/225_configuration/200_client_configurations/310_conditional_fields/) but still unable to set a working condition. This documentation indicates to use the Enumeration Filter on the QtyOnhand attribute.I did the following in Page Designer (we’re on 24R1), again following the documentation, but I am not sure what to type in the Value field. I tried just about everything (blank, record.QtyOnhand > 0, >0, QtyOnhand gt 0, etc.) and it will not let me proceed (it goes red and does not accept anything that I’ve tried).what do I type in Value?​​Can someone help letting me know how to make this condition effective?IFS Cloud 24R1In advance,than

I’m using IFS Report Designer 20.02.0002 in an Apps 10 environment.  If I have a different Page Footer on my Last Page, can that Page Footer be a different size than the one on my Repeating Page?  I’d like my Repeating Page Footer to be 1.5 cm and my Last Page Footer to be 3 cm. The tool allows me to do this by initially setting the Repeating Page Footer to 3 cm.  The 3 cm is defaulted into the size for the Last Page Footer if I open the Page Settings and then close it.  I can then go back to my Repeating Page and switch the size to 1.5 cm.  I’ve confirmed the sizes are evident in the xml for the rdl when viewing in Notepad++.The issue is when I deploy and print the report, it looks to me like the Last Page Footer is trimmed down to 1.5 cm of available space, not the full 3 cm.

 HelloI’m trying to create an enrichment process workflow which triggered when calling the following projection action on the Operation Tab of the Routing page : RoutingHandling.svc/CreateStandardOperationWhen I add a new Standard Operation on a Routing, I want to update a custom attribute of the newly created RoutingOperation entity.As we can add a standard operation by copy or by reference, I need in both cases to get the standard operation to save it in the custom attribute “Orig_Std_Operation”, so in case we don’t have reference anymore, we keep the original one stored for further consultations and business operations.So in case we add the standard operation by Copy, there is no link to the standard operation, so I can’t update the field of the RoutingOperation entity with an event action, this is why i need a workflow event, to catch the Client value.I’m trying to achieve this since hours without any success.

Users now have to toggle on the “Send Email” toggle when emailing a PO.This wasn't the case in 23R1, but in 23R2, they have to do this, and do it for every PO. This has caused the team to miss/forget to toggle it.Can this be enabled to be on by default? 

Hi,I am getting following error in a upgrade (From App9 to IFSCloud 23R1). In the mtinstaller when runs for the frst time I get following error. its something comes for DB hot IP CIDR value. I am getting this error when I try to connect report designer with IFS Application. I tried to change the permissions and it didn’t work.

I’ve just had a manager reach out to me and show me this phenomenon. When using any date column in cloud, choosing the between operator, if I scroll the list on the left and then select the date the list on the right goes down to 2099. Is this happening for anyone else? I’ve never noticed it if I click on the month in the left hand pane next to the calendar and select, only if I scroll.  

When I press the print button on any object I get the print dialogue and it has the user email.Is there a way to disable having the user email here?I have found a system parameter but it does not seem to do anything.

Hi,We are using IFS Cloud Build Place to do development. When we set up local development environment, some cloud developers cannot login DEV environments with error “Too long” but the others can. The VPN connection is fine with green light. In this scenario, the developer also couldn’t login DEV database through PL/SQL developer. What’s the root reason of this? Thanks in advance! 

PROBLEM:It is not possible to sort Hidden Columns within the Column Chooser.SOLUTION:The "Table View Settings" within the column chooser do not straight away allow for column sorting.However, you can view both the visible and hidden columns in the content if you open it in "Page Designer."You can drag and drop the hidden column up and down to adjust its order. The hidden column's sorting order will be changed in accordance with the column ordering in the "Page designer" if you check it in the "Table View Settings."See the column ordering in the Column Chooser and Page Designer.   I'll now switch the "Area/Zone" column's ordering with the "Electrical Description" column. And save the page configuration. As you can see, the column chooser's ordering has also been adjusted accordingly.   The column order determined by the page design may be overridden.Clearing off part of the user's personal and/or base profile is necessary to get them to show up in the same order (in the table and list).

PROBLEM: When trying to connect to an IFS Cloud database while using a VPN, you can sometimes get the error "Too long" or "Cannot connect to the database."SOLUTION: You must retrieve the database host's IP address. The command "Ping *******.build.ifs.cloud" can be used to retrieve this. Request that someone who is able to access the same database instance retrieve the IP address for you.  Next, create an entry for the aforementioned host and IP combination in the "hosts" file.(The location of the hosts file depends on the operating system. On Windows, the hosts file is usually located at C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts)  IP *******.build.ifs.cloud Save the ‘hosts’ file  Restart the Developer Studio. I was trying to export one row from GL Voucher Rows Analysis page to excel. It exceeded 300 seconds and ended up with timeout. Does anyone face the same issue?  Populating data is quite fast, below 10s.

Dear All,I am currently working on a REST integration for a customer in APPS10 that utilizes callback functions.Occasionally, the address label for the callback function fails to execute automatically. However, when the address label is manually re-executed, it completes successfully. I am wondering why the failed label does not execute automatically. The REST Sender has been configured with the parameters MAX_RETRIES and RETRY_INTERVAL. Could these settings be having no effect on the failed label for callback function?Additionally, is there any workaround that would allow for the automatic execution of these failed messages without requiring manual intervention?Thank you in advance for your assistance.Kind regards,Nija
