I am trying to use a context substitution variable in an external navigation link, so far the current mode of passing parameters does not seem to work. Is there a way to access this in Aurena or a seperate format for the parameter

We have noticed in Aurena that currency format does not come through in aurena. It shows up as just a raw # with no , deliminators. Is this on the roadmap to address? This is an issue for us as we look at Currency Based data it’s very hard to understand what the values we are entering are.Thanks,Carrie

Hi,We’re trying to upload attachments to IFS using oData.‘We’ve tried mimicing the Aurena behavior found when inspecting the page and sniffing the HTTP traffic. Projection: DocumentHome.svcCreateAndConnect work fine but can’t send the file data.The FileData steps just returns an HTTP 500 , internal server error. A second approach we’ve tried is through the CreateAndImportDocument Projection.I’ve tried all kinds of formating for the FileData property but won’t accept any of it. Below is a Base64 encoded binary string. Since documentation is almost non existing I’m a bit stuck. Has anyone managed to use oData for attachment upload and can provide som working examples? Would be much apricated ! thx!

Hi All,     I tried to change status (Planned to Released ) of any view though FND tool (Procedure- INSERT_OR_UPDATE).But unable to change when i seen result.I add Status(Objstate at customer order view) column in File mapping tab.But unable to update status. Kindly assist someone. How can do that. Thanks in advance.

I created a Persistent Text custom field with the Clickable Hyperlink attribute checked. I then set the field to be visible on the page in IEE. After putting a URL in the field the text displays blue with a line under it and ctrl + clicking will launch the browser and navigate to the URL. This is the behavior I would like to see in Aurena as well. In Aurena when I add the field to the page the URL displays as text without looking like a link. Is there a way to make it look and act like a clickable hyperlink?

What is the quickest way to make specific columns read-only for all users. User Profiles?

We have quick report that takes excessively long to execute and return results. We run Apps8 on Oracle 11G, purchased the ASFU Oracle Enterprise Edition through IFS and pay our annual support and maintenance via IFS.We are in the process of migrating to a new data centre and want to take the opportunity to upgrade to the latest version of Oracle certified by IFS for Apps 8 which appears to be 12.1.0.2In order to download the media, we need our Oracle CSI number but are having trouble obtaining that from IFS. Alternatively, we need IFS to download the media on our behalf and load in to our FTP site on the Support Centre. This is proving problematical.Anyone got any experience on how to get Oracle media or CSI details ?ThanksDavid  

Hi, Users are getting the error “Error while saving the mail to IFS CRM. Insufficient priviledges.” when saving an email to IFS CRM through Outlook Add-In. When they are granted DocumentHome projection, it goes away. However, we want to know which activity within this projection is needed to resolve the following error, as we don’t want to grant the entire projection to users. Thank You.

What could be the reason for the Client Error ‘Cannot find module './Light.json'  appearing when logged into Aurena Client at the startup? It happens in one environment while other environments having the same code base do not.Error appears after a delivery installation which contains IFS Aurena Framework Binary Delivery 10.9.13.1. Once the delivery is rolled back the error disappears.

Good Morning,We are trying to schedule an existing IAL to copy all data at scheduled time to run a report faster.The problem here is the option ‘Copy All Data’ is not available for that specific and several other IAL’s and I see its available for some. How can I change it from ‘Use Live Data’ to ‘Copy All Data’I understand with this option, we will not have upto the second data in that report, is there a way to solve this i.e copy all data at scheduled time at night and then add recent data at the time when user run report to get up-to-date data.So far I tried to deploy IAL again without checking ‘Create IAL for Live Data only’ and I get following message. Not sure what it is looking forAny ideas how to resolve this.Thanks

We have a report rule that emails invoices to customers.  I want to include a web address that includes the invoice number and invoice amount.  An example below where CD1234 is the invoice number and 200 is the invoice amount.  I am using variables for these values.  My problem is when I try to build the below string the = and & characters are a problem.   It does not include anything after a = or & character.  I have tried wrapping it with single and double quotes with no luck.  Any suggestions?  https://www.xxx.com/invoice/?invoice_number=CD1234&amount=200App8sp1+

In the IFSDS doing a customization in some entity, I need to download the related files, the IFS DS suggest all the necessary files.The problem is IFSDS is ignoring the CPS version, see below.Even the target version of the project set UPD7.Looking in archive, we can see the files in the example is in version 7.Anyone know if exist a parameter in order to fix this?Just to add some info, in ISD, the problem doesn't occur. See the log below yellow highlighted:Thanks,Alexandre Bicalho.

Hello, Has anyone created new entity with sequence in IFS Developer Studio ? I want to create sequence for keys of my table.I could create index and sequences in PLSQL Developer but i guess it is made in .storage file in Developer Studio.How can I create .storage file of the entity to define INDEX or SEQUENCE ?  Or maybe i need another way to define them. Could anyone please help ? Thanks & Best Regards

I’ve found an issue with the IFS XML to JSON transformer.  I wanted to check with you first before submitting a bug report in case this was a known issue. I am sending an outbound document (PLSQLAP_DOCUMENT) via IFS Connect.  On my routing address, I’ve included the IFS XML to JSON transformer.  The generated XML looks correct: <CONTRACT type="Text">0301</CONTRACT> However, after the transformer processes the message, the text field for contract has its leading zero dropped:     "CONTRACT": "301",  This is causing issues for the service that is consuming this message.  Right now I do not have a clean way around this.  We have hard coded this value in the app we’re interfacing with as a short term solution, but this will not work long term. In DEV, the package I’m sending from is C_MANUF_INTEGRATION_API.  Here is the code that sends the outbound REST message: plsql_rest_sender_api.Call_Rest_EndPoint(rest_service_        => 'QS_HOMAG_INTEGRATION',                          

The logs from the print agent show this error ">" "Processor Failed: Could not update Spool Queue. IO Error, file in use." Anti-Virus has been turned off. Server backups. snapshots and replication software have been turned off.  What have we missed?There have been no recent changes to the print server or print agent.

Hi,I can’t seem to figure out how the make the taxable check box to default to checked. I have done it in the past and then was removed and now I can’t remember how I did this. See screen shot blow. I would like this automatically selected. I thought I did this through conditional formatting but when I try I can’t seem to get it to work. I have it so it will give an error if its not checked but before i had automatically checked off and can’t remember how I did it.Any advise would be great. Thanks Maggie

I'm experiencing the problem trying to connect with mWO on Windows to TAS using SSO through the ADFS. Always get error "Environment you are trying to login to does not support openId authentication".All the necessary settings there were applied accordingly to IFS official documentation. All the ADFS redirect URI, Touch Apps redirect URI and so on. What exactly I have to check more?
