PROBLEM:   intermittent errors with customer’s Print AgentRECREATED IN CORE:  No.  Only occurs at customer’s siteRECREATED IN CUSTOMER’S ENVIRONMENT:  yes, but at unpredictable intervals (hence the request for additional debugging help)BUSINESS IMPACT:  intermittent need for repeating print job requests by IFS users and associated inconvenience to usersIMPORTANCE:  2-High Case ID: G2225593-B REQUEST FROM R&D:  Is it possible to provide a “debugger version” of Print Agent to customers which might display additional information upon print job errors?

Where do we configure streams notifications to only be removed if they are 3 months old instead of 1 month old?  We cannot find where this is configured and it seems to clean up streams notifications that are a month old.  we are on Apps 9

Hello.WORECEIPT Is there a cancellation of the transaction code?  

We intend to set up permission sets, based on "need to know/use" Aurena projections. For that I want to filter the Projections (and underlying actions), on either:- existence in the Scope Tool process model- actual usage during a certain period of time As I understood, the Scope Tool just contains relations to IEE presentation objects, and, according to https://community.ifs.com/framework-experience-infrastructure-cloud-integration-dev-tools-50/basic-data-tracker-with-link-to-aurena-page-11124 there is no relation between Aurena pages and IEE presentation objects. So option 1 seems to be difficult. Has anyone a suggestion?Regards, Reinier

I'm trying to remove records from Routing Operations (and other tables) via a Migration Job, with an CSV file as input. Normally i use the Remove__ method, based on an SQL statement on the table from which the records should be removed.  This Remove__ method however requires a value for the Objkey and ObjVersion attribute. When using a CSV input, I can search for the Rowkey via the Function Get_Rowkey, but I cannot find a way to return the RowVersion based on either the Rowkey, or the other key values. Or is there an other approach to solve this ? 

Good Morning, I am trying to see if there is a way to have the same colors on pie charts, i have the same records being pulled for each pie chart, but on one pie chart the Records To Be counted is Blue and Records Counted is Green, on another it is reversed. is there any way so that they show the same color on all pie charts. or is this something we will just have to live with. lol Thank you in advacne  

Hello, Noob question. Is it possible to connect Report Designer to IFS Cloud?After I installed the Report Designer, I try to connect it and it’s asking for host:port.  Fair enough, but in IFS Cloud I can only provide the URL with no portcompanyName-d02.demo.ifs.cloud  Is it possible in IFS Cloud to connect a Report Designer installed on a developer’s machine? Do I need to create a IAM Client in IFSCloud for this? Or how would the authentication work? Hi - We are a IFS cloud customer. Currently on apps 10 and will be moving to v12. Nothing is hosted on-prem. The login page for apps 10 has a forgotten password option which we have been told does not work and will not in version 12 which is odd considering the option is there and that ‘password resets’ is a basic part of any hosted platform.As a result we have to manually reset peoples passwords. As a company with over 2000 employees, this is not practical.Does anyone have any input on this please?We are open to using the IFS API’s to create are own password reset function.Thanks.Nav.

i am trying to run the part serial reservations projection from postman but getting the error as MI_METADATA_NOTFOUNDMETADATA NOTFOUND.

I have a question about WEBSERVICES and Token : how it works, what is the process to achieve the value transported. For example : Indeed, we encounter the authentication problem Error 401--Unauthorized on the following webservice: https://assystem-test.ifs.cloud:48080/main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/TimeRegistrationHandling.svc Maybe the webservice uses a token to authenticate itself despite the use of a basic IFS Aurena login/password authentication.       We used Postman to perform our requests (GET,POST,PUT). Can you please tell us what are the access parameters of this webservice as well as the descriptions of these different methods.  

We’d like to change the next number on the shipment_seq to 40000 to avoid duplication of numbers in an archive shipping system. Will it let me do this in PL/SQL developer with no implications? (Can’t see anywhere within IFS to do this)Thanks, Chris.

I’ve started a project and ca new omponent recently using Dev Studio 10.82.6231.10191024. Hi all,We have technical drawings stored as pdf. When the document is stored or printed, we would liketo add information to it (part_no, emp_id, date, etc).Is that possible?

We are implementing the Incident Reporting module and will be attaching work orders to incidents.  I have added the IncidentObjectConnection^ string to the WorkOrder LU in the Object Connections list and am able select work orders from the Connected To tab in the Incident screen.  However when I right click on the work order on the Connected To tab I am not seeing the Object Details… option on the pop-up menu to jump to the work order screen, any suggestions on what may be causing this? While running a trial of the incident module in our RACE environment this functionality worked as expected, we just can’t seem to get the Object Details piece to work in our test environment.

I’m working on some internal IFS integrations for my company to automate some tasks. I’ve been poking around the IFS API for a few months now so have a general idea of how it works. I’m able to retrieve and insert records, but the documentation of the API is still a bit of a mystery.My workflow is this:Understand how the feature works in the enterprise explorer Find the same feature within the Aurena client and grant necessary permissions to the projection Watch the requests in the network tab to figure out which projection handler is being hit Look at the API Explorer in Aurena to see if there is any useful additional information in there (usually not) Copy the parameters and repeatedly test the transactions in code and try to identify possible edge casesSo - am I missing anything in this process? Hi all,  We have the IFS Apps10 EE remember me functionality working, but I have a lot of users that report that their details are being forgotten after a few days.  Could anyone share any details on what they know to cause the credentials to be lost/forgotten.  Some users do not see any issues for weeks, and others have an issue every 2/3 days. It’s not consistent and often unpredictable.  Any comments / thoughts/advice on what can impact the ‘remember me’ functionality? 

Hi, I have made changes to the SQL Statement for a custom field which do not appear to have been ‘accepted’ by IFS and displayed on the IFS screen. I read in the Help that a refresh of the cache is necessary - can anyone help me with how to refresh the cache to get my SQL change to be ‘accepted and implemented’ by IFS 8 please? Thanks,Neil.

Here’s a summary of what my program does. I developed a java application that downloads pdf documents off the internet and then utilizes the IFS File Transfer Service to upload them to the application server. Once the document is uploaded to the application server, I’m using the Java Access Provider to check the document in and connect it to sales quotes. I have this app compiled and placed on a Linux server and has a cron job associated with it. Note: The IFS application server is windows and not where this application is installed. Here’s my issue:In my code, I create a Server object and set the connection string of my application server, and then set the credentials. (In this case, I’m using IFSAPP). When I run the java program from my local PC, it works fine.
