Dear community,  I have tried to create a custom menu from a custom logical unit with transfer however it just does not appear to work, the new window loads but with no transfer. A custom menu to a quick report from the same source with the same custom field works fine.  Is there a technical limitation (9U15) that stops this from being possible? 

During investigation of customer's environment revealed that the INACTIVE session count is over 1500 always, Should the INACTIVE session be killed automatically when the idle time expired? Checked the Database profile IFS_INETRNAL which is used for Database users, the IDLE_TIME is set to DEFAULT. Should this be set to UNLIMITED ? Should there be a time on MAX IDLE TIME parameter OR leave as is where it always maintain 1500 odd INACTIVE sessions. This inactive sessions will hold on to resources with no legitimate reason and will create Possible performance issue. Any recommendations/changes needs to stop  INACTIVE session count getting higher values ?

Help,I’ve been doing lots of development on a project that has involved creating bespoke lobbies, all of this has been done in our test environment and is still being tested/developed. However due to a customer requirement our other site has requested that the test system be updated with our live system data asap. So my question is can I export/save the lobbies, data sources and elements I’ve created so that once the test system has been updated i can re import them back in? Thanks

Hello,We are using Apps 10 UPD11.  A user is trying to save a search but the Save button is not enabled.  I’ve checked the permission sets but can’t seem to find the missing piece. I can log into the environment as two different users - one user can save the search, one user cannot. Is there something that turns that on/off for a user?  I’d like to figure out which specific object, etc. needs to be granted rather than granting additional permission sets because that may solve this problem but create others by granting undesirable access.  I tried finding the solution in the online documentation but I couldn’t find it there. Thank you!Joann This user can’t save the search  This user can save the search 

Hi IFS CommunityThis is Andrés Palacios  from Ifs Spain.Perhaps somebody from technology can respond me in quick wayWhen we use this options of Apps 10 create_backup -clone -update or create_backup -clone or create_backup. Must it be the extended server stopped or we can run these option with the extended server running in a normal way?.I always run with the extended server stopped to have more security…is it possible in other way?.Regards

Seemingly simple migration job to insert pricelist lines into the SfPP Pricelist tab. Using the Insert Procedure, expecting new rows to be created, but no matter how the job details are arranged, keep getting an error that the SfPP record doesn’t exist when clearly the SfPP does and the pricelist row does not which is why I’m trying to insert it.  Not sure if there is something simple I’m overlooking or there is a deeper issue. Migration JobMigration Job Insert Row Single Row file to test510,122888-2A,113.3,12984,1,2,USD ErrorInsert failed​​​​​​  S f P PSupplier for Purchase Part No rules are set on the migration job, no custom fields on the table.  What am I missing?

Our company is upgrading to Apps 10 with SSRS Operational Reporting. I have two copies of SetupIFSReportDataExtension.exe, one older and one newer. I have made several attempts to install on a development machine and our SSRS server and have had almost no luck. The installation error reads “Please make sure Visual Studio & Business Intelligence Developer Studio are installed correctly.”Does anyone know the exact requirements for a successful installation?Here’s what I tried so far:Visual Studio 2013 Shell + SSDT: older installer - success, newer installer - fail Visual Studio 2015 Shell + SSDT: older installer - fail, newer installer - fail SQL Server 2017: older installer - fail, newer installer - failThe one combination that succeeded installing (VS 2013+old installer) then gave me an error about an invalid WSDL endpoint when I tried to connect. HI all (this is IFS2003 - I know, I know...) I recall someone long ago creating a Saved query that could be shared amongst our users, that looked for (say) Approvals for that user. The dynamic code meant it could be passed around without need to change the Advanced query.For instance, instead of USERID  = ‘BLOGGSF’,I thought we could use USERID = (select Ifsapp.fnd_session_api.get_fnd_user()from dual)but this generates the error “fnd_session_api is not a procedure or is undefined”How can I get this to work, or is there an alternative?Would be good to do this for PersonId too.  Thanks

My system region settings IFS region settings When i output data to excel  from payroll history overview screen for the field " amount" having more than 6 digits ---in excel amount field is displaying as zero "0"....i need amount value field to be displayed same as front end and with comma separated value. “Receive” Dialog in Register Arrivals​​​​​Dear Community, I am trying to modify the “Receive” Dialog in Register Arrivals page using Aurena Page designer in Apps 10 Update 11.I have found the following article in the community , but unfortunately I am unable to access said dialog with the answer given there. Is this a bug or does anybody else have any additional ideas?

I have developed a crytal report and i calling that using custom menu in Apps 9. i have included two BLOB columns to display the images of terms and condition in Purchase order document print. I am getting error  Memory full or Overflow error while rendering this image.

 This is how I'm using the POSTMAN tool to check restful methods (POST, GET, PATCH, DELETE). (I'll proceed with this testing using the 'Inventory Part Maint Info' page in Aurena) The first step should be finding the SOAP gateway. To find that there are two ways.In Aurena Search for the API Explorer-> search for required projection. (In this case, I'm searching for the 'MaintInventoryPartHandling' projection). Open the debug console→ Server invoke → Click API Explorer→  click Open in API Explorer. (This would be the easiest way to open it). Afterward, check the ' Include in Compatibility Application Type'  is 'Yes' or 'No'.
