I’ve been asked whether I can add “New Case Issue” and/or “New Case Assistant” to the “Lite User” permission set (LTU_HR_SELF_SERVICE). Now, I can probably add these screens to the permission set, but I don’t want to exceed the license terms.Is this something I need to ask IFS directly?  

Hi!I need your help. In window “Work Task” there is two tabs called “General” and “Object”.In the tab “Object” i want to adjust the Layout regarding the segment “Action and Information”I just want to move it up further in the window.The problem is that we also using this in Tab “General” and in that window, i dont want it to be moved.But since this two windows seems to be connected, i dont know how to just move Action and Information” in only tab “Object”. It is also affecting tab “General”. Anyone know how to make it work?

Hi, I am creating a Lobby for the ICT team and want to show IFS Licence availability on it.I can get this for Full User licenses no worries (in fact theres a premade Lobby Element for it), but for LTU and CTU I can only get find current usage, not availability (how many are free) or the Total (from which I could subtract the usage to give me the availabilty.Is there a view or table to query this data from for LTU licences etc.?

We have App8 instance that have plenty of Schedule Reports that runs dialy. When a new Schedule report is seleced (for same layout and paramters that works for other users) new user the new schedule report dont run. Any reason for it? Cheers

Hi, How do import exported Permission Set File to IFS?

I have performance problems in the execution of background jobs for a customer.I have already read all the advices regarding the increase of the job queue processes parameter but I would like to know if I could also optimize the frequency the job queue is checking for new jobs to execute.By default the execution plan is set to 30 seconds but is there a risk to put the queues to 5 or 10 seconds (at least those that do not handle only big jobs) ?

It's often useful to know which table contains the data you're seeing in the system. The normal way of using IFS Applications 10 and the MWO app is via a touch apps server.This means, the MWO is connecting via URL and System ID to the Touch Apps Server.The TAS is then providing the request to the IFS Server using the default HTTP Port.After the request arrives at IFS, the Identity Provider is checking the settings and either displays the login page or, for SSO setup, connects to the respective server for authentication.Past the authentication, we are going back to the MWO App and connect to the middleware server for exchanging data.In a cloud hosted environment, it is required to be logged in to the VPN Connection for the Cloud. Hi all,  Recently we have an database conversion from PROD to TEST environment and we noticed that we cant generate xml files for invoices in TEST anymore. We have checked the setup of:IFS connect Routing addresses Routing rules Company’s message setup Customer’s message setupWe could not find anything that could go wrong, but the xml files are not created. In IFS connect I need to process an inbound .xml file and create an outbound .xml file with the same name as the inbound .xml post-fixed  with another text. Is there a way to get the name of the Inbound.xml file either using a wildcard or by accessing it through the code?

Hello all,I was wondering if it is possible to have 2 different instances of IFS communicate directly with one another. I have one instance that is using IFS 9 and another that uses IFS 10. I am hoping a direct connection can be established but am not sure if 3rd party software is needed to make EDI/MHS work.Has anyone tried this before and is willing to share their experience?For various reasons we are not able to merge the 2 into a single instance at this point. (would make my live to easy lol)
