Some of our users are wanting to run the IFS Explorer client on hand held tables. Would the iFS client run on Windows 10 IOT Enterprise verson, and would it be usable on a 10 inch screen, which the devices we are looking at have.?
Would be good to know if anyone has experiennce with this. Thanks
We are on IFS App 10 by the way.
We are setting up Maintenance “kiosk” style tablets on some of our manufacturing lines (starting with a pilot). We are using Surface Pro tablets (not sure of exact specs). IFS runs fine, though there obviously some things to get used to when dealing with a touchscreen vs mouse and keyboard. I believe we will be getting mice attached for folks who have trouble calibrating their taps, and we endeavor to make screens and workflow as simple as possible so people aren’t needing to poke a lot of different things.
