Framework & Experience (Infrastructure, Cloud, Integration, Dev Tools)

Hi IFS Team,I have created a custom page and text translations for the labels  as per the client requirement in French and Spain. When we tested the requirement is IEE translations are working fine as per the languages(En, Fr, ESP)but when the same custom tab is tested in Aurena environment translations are not working even after importing the required trs and lng filesRequest your guidance for resolving the issue Regards,Subang K

Hello AllI am working on  a task where I need to add translations to a field which is a part of dropdown through customization . So I used code generation(projection and client file) to get TranlsationDb file for that particular component . after giving generate code , I got TranslationDb file in the build place of my workspace . I used the file to scan code in DEV and if I check in Text translation or translatable text  I don’t get the fields which are part of the enumeration . It only shows certain fields related to entity and projection. For next try , I  gave customize to the enumeration file , got the translationDb file after code generation . did the same process from step 1 , still if I check for the fields from that enumeration , it is not displaying anything .Can someone guide  me with this . Thank you :)

i am trying to understand how finical data is being stored in a database.User enter Invoices→ databases tables

I was trying to understand the differences between IFS Cloud (i.e. 22r2) custom attributes and Apps 10 custom fields. Mainly looking for details around Read Only attributes. I want to try to minimize the chance any new fields we make in 10 will be translatable to IFS Cloud.Yes, I looked in the docs.ifs.com site, in the technical docs, tailoring section. But I get 404’s when I get down to the details on attributes.Better yet would be a guide kind of like the word doc from Apps 8 or 9 era.

I’m calling a REST service (an RSS feed, actually, updated daily) that returns an XML response which I want transform and pass on to a projection, but the application message keeps failing with an error:Error while preparing input data. Caused by: ifs.fnd.base.SystemException: Attempt to use an XSL transformer (C_RBA_RSS_TO_IFS_CURR_RATE) on binary data Has anyone experienced the same and know a way around it?FYI, I’ve tried to set a a header on the REST routing address - Accept: text/xml - but that made no difference.

Is there a way to do an advanced search and group by a date, but in weekly buckets? We are in IEE.

I created a custom external file type, but I am having trouble Creating Details from a View Definition.I am able to use other qfact views, so I’m not sure why I am getting an error when I try to use this one.I did already add this information source to the permission set that I’m using:  Can someone tell me what is causing this error, or how I can research this further?

we need to hide the cost column in customer line tab and margin column on customer order form and customer order line form. we managed to do it hiding it at base profile level. The column still appears as users are creating their own personal profiles which overrides the base. Is there a way to restrict them using base profile at the same time having their shortcut and navigationals options open.

When viewing / editing user profiles, the “Template” and therefore the “template storage”) entries do not appear. These entries are there in the database, they are just being “Hidden”.This happens on our live system and some, but not all test instances. The base profile is not affected. See below..These settings are being hidden on user profiles. Is there a switch to re-enable viewing / editing of these settings? (Apps 9)

Hi,We are currently very much live on Apps 10 - we currently have accounts locally created. Now we wish to use Azure AD to manage passwords only, not account creation or permission sets.Is this possible and if so, anything to consider. From my Apps 9 experience we used On-Prem AD from go-live for account creation and permission set management, so I’m interested in how granual it can be. Also - looking at future proofing it - so if we can do just passwords in Apps 10 - what about IFS Cloud?

Hi all,Is it possible to create a new Database Task against a record in the History Log?For example, a database task should be run every X days to review if a certain field was updated (i.e. price on a part record).  If the field is not updated, inactivate the record.  The second option, would be to create a Custom Field on the record for ‘Last Updated’ which a Custom Event would automatically update then the database task looks at this value instead of the history log.IFS Version: IFS Cloud 22R1/22R2Thanks.

We’ve worked through a few of the solutions already proposed in the community and we’re still getting null values for our PDF_PARAMETERS in the Customer Statement of Account report.  I’ve tried adding suggested code to RDF files in the build folder, but with no change.  Is there a specific procedure within the CustStmtAcct.rdf that the Pdf_Report_Event_Param_API.New_Parameter is supposed to be executed in in order to populate the PDF_PARAMETER_1 with the Customer’s AR Contact information?  I was unable to see where that data is input within other reports/rdf files that successfully utilize the PDF_PARAMETER data within their respective email on PDF Print Event Actions.

When trying to receive an inventory part, I receive this error. It appears to only occur when trying to receive a Purchased(raw) part. I get the same error if I add another cost bucket as noted in the error. Thanks

Hello,Can some one share the process of defining LTU Permission sets in IFS Cloud RegardsPankaj

Can someone advise what permission set is required to allow use of the ‘Test Survey…..’ option within the head of a survey? When clicking this option and entering log in credentials, we receive and error message that the user has insufficient priveledges.Thank you.

I’m trying to query for permission set names and descriptions but I cannot find where the descriptions are stored.  Can anyone point me to it? Debug isn’t any use.  I have the names and what is granted to users but I cannot find where the descriptions are stored to output those…Thanks!Nick

Good morning all. I trust I have come to the right place for an enquiry such as this!I am a relatively new user to IFS and I am looking into implementing a B2B e-commerce system onto an existing IFS platform. My hope is in developing a system whereby IFS can interact with 3D models/3D assemblies whereby customers can navigate around it and click into the contained parts, allowing them to purchase new/spare parts. This will need to ‘bolt-on’ to our IFS database whereby current prices/stock levels etc are transposed into the 3D environment. Does anybody have any success at implementing a system such as this? I am in the early stages of investigating how to get a system such as this, up and running. I look forward to hearing back from some of you!

Import of Database task, exported from Aurena, failed with error Element denoted by path [EXPORT_VERSION] not found. Where should this file be located in build structure? I put it in \accrul\server\connect_config\accrul\ and it is maybe wrong.   <DATABASE_TASK> <METHOD_NAME>C_CURRENCY_RATE_UTIL_API.UPDATE_FROM_CNB_</METHOD_NAME> <DESCRIPTION>Update CZK Currency Rate From CNB</DESCRIPTION> <MODULE>ACCRUL</MODULE> <SINGLE_EXECUTION>FALSE</SINGLE_EXECUTION> <ARGUMENT_TYPE>PARAMETER</ARGUMENT_TYPE> <VALIDATION_METHOD>C_CURRENCY_RATE_UTIL_API.UPDATE_FROM_CNB_VAL_</VALIDATION_METHOD> <CHECK_EXECUTING>FALSE</CHECK_EXECUTING> <CHECK_DAY>FALSE</CHECK_DAY> <PARAMETERS> <PARAMETER> <SEQ_NO>1</SEQ_NO> <NAME>COMPANY_</NAME> <MANDATORY>TRUE</MANDATORY> <DATA_TYPE>STRING</DATA_TYPE>

Hi!I have followed a tutorial found here on the community (RESTFul_API_CALL_NBRB.docx (live.com))on how to send and receive data with  with plsql_rest_sender_API.Call_Rest_EndPoint_Empty_Body2. I receive a json string in the response from the integrated system (see green line below)My call is configured as below plsql_rest_sender_API.Call_Rest_EndPoint_Empty_Body2(rest_service_ => 'GET_SCALE_CUSTOMER',                                                       --url_params_ => Url_params,                                                       callback_func_ => 'C_Integration_Util_Api.REST_callback_Cust',                                                       http_method_ => 'GET',                                                       http_req_headers_ => 'Content-Type:application/json',                                                      -- query_parameters_ => Query_params,

We have troubleshooted this as per the docs (https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/Foundation1/040_administration/240_integration/300_ifs_connect/100_connect_troubleshooting/default.htm#PLAP_troubleshooting) but we don’t see any issues on it. The below query SELECT Plsqlap_Server_API.Ping_Result__ FROM sys.dual;takes a lot of time (10-15mins only for this query remaining day to day activities are working fine) to given the output as zero. Apart from that oracle batch queues are working fine and restarted the MainServer1 many times and ran reconfiguration as well. When you run the below command to check the HTTP connectivity,SELECT utl_http.request((SELECT value FROM ifsapp.PLSQLAP_ENVIRONMENT_TAB t WHERE t.name = 'CONN_STR') || '?test=true') FROM dual; It was giving certificate error and host connection before and we have come to a point where it says “ORA-29259: end-of-input reached” which is somewhat related to the Network ACL on the database. Can I know the right Network ACL commands and how
