Advaned Search across multiple LUs in IFS CLOUD

There are already a few topics that cover this but since they are closed or old, I would like to ask this question again as we are amidst an upgrade project from IFS 8 to IFS CLOUD: How can we replace Advanced Search queries from IFS EE in the new IFS CLOUD Aurena client that cover multiple LUs? Here’s an example copied from another thread: We use this feature in so many places across the system and currently we can’t figure out any workarounds. I think all IFS administrators and power users will need this feature in IFS CLOUD. How is IFS solving their customers’ needs here? This is a very significant regression!

Migration Job error with custom field - savepoint ‘NEW_JOB’ never established

Receiving RPC_E_CALL_REJECTED when trying to create a marketing campaign

Dear Community!The customer is using IFS10 and we are receiving an error for some users when trying to generate Mailings for a marketing campaign.This functionality will open up Word to create a serial letter based on data from IFS.Unfortunately, this is not working on customer side.I have verified in DEV and from TEST as there is no direct access to the PROD environment. The web had been searched and we tried Resetting the user Profile Seemed to work, but only on first try. After IFS Client restart, it is displaying the same error againChecking on the office software licenses are valid and there seem to be no issue with the softwareI have asked the customer, if this is happening, when opening word from other sections, e.g. document revisions. But I have not received feedback from them by now. Will post this afterwards.Anybody experienced this issue and got an idea how to solve this? Not sure if this is a programming error, a firewall or third party software issue or something el

Hi Everybody.Does anybody know if it is possible to attach multiple atachments from PDF archive to the e-mail and send it using command_sys.mail? E.g. I’d like to send today’s invoices to the customer at night but with only 1 email instead of 10.We are on IFS10.Thanks.

More than 2 decimal places in custom field

I created a custom logical unit to hold a number that I need to have 4 decimal places, but the system automatically truncates it to 2 decimal places and that is what is stored in the database. Is there a way to increase the number of decimal places stored? We are in 10.

Hello,We are on Apps 10, UPD11Invoice or BeginInvoke cannot be called on a control until the window handle has been createdUser had 2 open windows which were unresponsive She tried to exit IFS and received this message. Translation of a custom field Aurena

Hello,I have created a custom field in APPS10 to display in AURENA.I added an English and French translation for this field in Enterprise Explorer : The translation works for Enterprise Explorer but not for AURENA: Do I need to add an additional setting to apply the translation on the custom field?Thanks for your help!

Trying to send a quick report via Application Server Task_

I have been reading several other topics about the same question I have. I was able to create the Application Server Task (Screenshot 1) and schedule the Database Task (Screenshot 2),When the database task runs the background job the result is positive => Status =(Ready)(Screenshot 3).However, the status for the Application Server Task is (Waiting) Screenshot4- and I do not receive the email.I was wondering if anybody from the community could direct me to the right path to fix the issue.My goal is send the quick report via email. Oracle client / database compatibility matrix

Hi all,I am trying to get hold of the Oracle client / database compatibility matrix which I understand is available on the Oracle website. I am looking at upgrading Oracle from 12.2 to 19c and have various peripheral applications that interact with either IFS or Oracle and need to understand what, if anything, I must do to ensure that they function post-upgrade.I cannot currently get access to the required area of the Oracle website as IFS will not tell me my Oracle Support Identifier for the Oracle support I renewed in June and I need this in order to access the document. Any help with this would be very much appreciated. I could do with access to the doc asap as I need to plan the project and understand what’s involved before the new year. I have a ticket in about getting this resolved and have sent emails to various IFS staff but as we approach the Christmas break it is looking less and less likely it will be resolved before many people finish for the year.Kind regardsMatt
