Exporting IFS data using Online Excel

We can’t export data from IFS using the Microsoft 365 Excel online option on a Terminal Server farm environment.  getting the following message: Does Microsoft Excel need to be installed as an application on the Terminal Server environment in order for the Export to work?

Engineering Part Navigator (Copy/Paste Approvals)

In IEE, we used to use a screen called “engineering part revision”. This screen doesn’t exist in cloud and that is okay but on the engineering part revision screen, there was a tab for “approval process”. We got used to using this tab and it made pushing out multiple products through approvals super east. We use approvals templates and we have optimized them to be as generic as possible. Today, we change the approval lines of placeholder users and then we delete the users who don’t need to approve. Once we make our changes and we have 2 or more parts that we’re setting up that need the same edited approvals, the copy all lines > rmb > edit > copy object. In cloud, I can copy the object but I can’t paste it into the attachments section under approvals. Any help is appreciated. Being able to paste these would help us tremendously. iee, i can copy and paste approval lines to multiple new partsI can copy the lines in the attachments > approvals but it won’t let me paste them to

Report rule - sending an email to a supplier

Projection action with binary result larger than 64000 bytes

Prevent Custom Field Value from Updating

We have a Custom Field in Rental Transaction that is pulling Group ID from Serial Object. As Serial Objects gets update it then recalculates and updates the Custom Field in Rental Transactions. We want to know what the Serial Object Group ID was at the point the Rental Transaction is created NOT the current Group ID. How do we prevent the Custom Field from Updating if Serial Object is changed? Thanks in advance,Lisa

Cant access API documentation for INT

Hi allWhen we try to access any documentation of the INT type, we keep getting the below sign in screen.  This is not a problem for regular projections where the main documentation is available, but for projections such as CreateAndImportDocument this becomes a problem as INT is the only one available.What could we be missing? No matter what we put for username and password, we are stuck in a loop of that sign in screen.We are on 10.8 Best Regards

SSL Update(24R1SU2): Shows Old certificate

Hi All, I updated SSL certificate as the old one expired. When I check from the management server, it shows the correct SSL certificate.When I check from my laptop it shows the old certificate. NOTE: I am using correct IFS binary version I tried below,Recreated and reinstalled middle tier. Clear all caches in laptop Any Idea?

Search producing no results on first attemp

I have a user who periodcally searches and receives no results, but upon their second search a few seconds later (with the same query parameters) they receive results. Can anyone recommend a starting point to debugging this issue?

Machine Learning CRM Features for Remote Cloud

Do I understand correctly from reading other Community cases that through 23R2 the following Machine Learning Gateway URL (shown in blue), could be used by Remote customers...… but in 24R1 Remote customers cannot use Machine Learning?Or, is there a for-purchase option for 24R1 Remote customers to use a Machine Learning Gateway - or a roadmap plan to enable Remote customers to use features such as Business Opportunity Score and Business Card Scanner?There are several attractive features that require Machine Learning, and as a example the Opportunity Pipeline Board has Business Opportunity Score as a standard field, so it will be good to know if this can be useable for Remote deployments:

REST Transport Routing Address Error

When trying to route application message to IFS REST API I get below error. Adding custom fields to the Create MRB case wizard

In Apps 10 Enterprise explorer we would like users to be prompted to enter some of our custom field when they create an MRB case using the wizard on the Quantity in stock right mouse button to create an MRB case. Is this functionality available in Apps 10 or will Aurena all you to do this in Apps 10?

Adding a dynamic filter to LOV Custom Field in 23R1

Hi All,I added a persistent custom field to the entity CroHead as follows. And then added it to ‘Component Repair Order’ page with below LOV filter. But this does not filter ‘Cf Crm Contact’ using ‘Customer ID’ value. It’s ‘1000’ here. But it filters correctly if I change the filter as follows. Is there a way to get this filtered dynamically using the ‘Customer’ value?I went through previous community posts and F1 documentation as well but could not find a solution. It seems syntax has been changed in new cloud versions.I checked with below syntax but still no luck.contains(Cf_DisplayText, '$CUSTOMER_ID')contains(Cf_DisplayText, '$[Customer_Id]')contains(Cf_DisplayText, '$[CUSTOMER_ID]')contains(Cf_DisplayText, '$[CustomerId]') Thanks & Best Regards,Randini

IFS Cloud Shipping Solution Integration

We are in the beginning stages of a migration from an AS400 ERP to IFS Cloud. I’m an enterprise software engineer who is new to the IFS world.Our current warehouse shipping process involves a piece of custom software that screen-scrapes from an AS400 terminal session into a Windows application called ClipperShip. This software handles all the carrier specific logic, including printing labels, etc., then another piece of custom software gets the data out of ClipperShip and back into the AS400 ERP.We would like our new solution to be as simple as possible for warehouse employees. Ideally it would be completely web-client based. We have started evaluating some API-based shipping solutions like ProShip and ShipEngine. Here are my questions after reading through the technical documentation: 1. It seems that the shortest path to getting something functional would be to use a solution that already provides a client user interface, build a piece of custom middleware that uses the OData REST AP

Event action "Execute Online SQL" in IFS Cloud

Hello,I just learned that the action for "Execute Online SQL" events will be removed in the next versions of IFS Cloud.In relation to this, I have 2 questions: - For all the events already created for our customers in IFS Cloud, how will this happen? We will have to abandon our actions already created? - For our customers in APPS10, we have a lot of EVENTS. How will the migration from APPS10 to Cloud happen?Thank you in advance.

User Profile Clear Saved Filters

One of our users has managed to corrupt a filter they use for Object IDs.This is because they have saved a “List of Values” filter for that drop down and that is being applied/trying to be applied.However, since we’ve done an update to the evironment that filter no longer works.This prevents them from creating Work Orders. As soon as they click the “Object ID” field, it tries to run the filter, and an error occurs. Any idea how we can clear that filter that’s against his profile?

Secure Printing using Print Server

Hi,Has anyone in APPS10 enabled user passwords on Printing when using the Print Server. Currently it bypasses (probably as going through as a system account) - so users printing is just being printed, not held until they can type their pin into the printer.

BPA Command needs to support bulk execution

We can create a BPA workflow and then use Page Designer to create a command button that calls the BPA.This currently only works when exactly 1 record is highlighted in a list - if highlight more than one, the button disappears.It needs to be enhanced to support bulk execution i.e. highlight multiple rows and the BPA will be run individually for each row.

How to use the Search Context Pane in Cloud

In the documentation for Searching and Organizing Information in IFS Cloud Web, there is a topic for Search Context Pane. From the documentation: The Context Search Pane can be positioned within an any section of an IFS Cloud Web page, and its placement is managed by system administrators. Unlike a Page Search, the Context Search exclusively impacts the designated area where it is positioned. To put simply, it focuses its search within that specific section and doesn't extend its influence to the entire page.Does anybody have an example of how this has been used or examples of what it could allow or control in a page?

Inbound File read from a File reader and create a CSV file

Hi,I am experiencing an issue with the Inbound file reading, I have set up for reading from a FILE READER. I have configured the routing rule and the address as required, but I encounter an error during file reading related to routing rule identification.I suspect that the issue may require adding a location-based condition. Adding a customerLine without price REST API

I’m able to create a Customer Order via REST API :Header : POST {{url}}/main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/CustomerOrderHandling.svc/CustomerOrderSetLine : POST {{url}}/main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/CustomerOrderHandling.svc/CustomerOrderSet(OrderNo='{{commandeMFR}}')/OrderLinesArray The issue we are having is that in order to create the line we need specify the price and unit of measure.While using Aurena those informaitons are feteched automaticuly when chosing the PartNo.How can we replicate this via rest api?The need is to create an orderLine without specifying the price. We are also looking for recalculating the customerOrderPrice Line post creationAny help would appreciated Thank’s Header :   Line :
