Correct Size and File Type for branding

Hi All, I am following the instructions below to add branding to our IFS EE portal, I can seem to use any file format and image size for the Logo and it’s automatically resized and works fine,Configuring the IFS Database Identity Provider However I am unable to get the Background Image to work, no matter the image size or file type it just shows as white, is there a correct image dimension or file type I should use?

Issue in Aurena Page Business Lead

Input payment file IFS connect App9

Hi!I have entered the filerep1 directory for input files in IFS Connect and the payment file is loaded in IFS for one Company. But the file doesnt load for my second Company. From what I can tell the IFS Connect is not Company specified.Is this the correct way to specify the input file in IFS Connect? Or should this be done somewhere else in IFS? The file has a .txt format for both Companies

Print Manager Status: Error (Could not open the specified printer.)

Hi All,I’m trying to add a new logical printer to the APP75 application.Defined new printer in Logical Printers I have modified the ifs-printagent-config.xml file with the new printer. Stopped and started print agent service. stopped and added the new logical printer into the ‘Application Server Task - Processing Print Job’ and then started.When I print a report using Order report, I can see a new print job created in the Print Manager window with the status ‘REMOTE_WORKING’.But after a few seconds status will change to ‘ERROR’ status.PDFL Exception: 0x40040007:Could not open the specified printer. I could see the below lines in the log file. How can I verify this printer is connected/ shared correctly?Kindly advise me. Thank you in Advance.

FND_USER_ROLE_TAB - Bug?

Apps 10 UPD 14 I have noticed that (from time to time) when I assign (via the EE client) a permission set to a user account that sometimes, the permission set is not referenced in the FND_USER_ROLE_TAB..Any idea why?

Hi, We have IFS 10 Update Update5 and I’m looking into integrations by using the RESTful API and OData.  I’m using Postman and sending a request like this: https://SERVER ADDRESS AND PORT/int/ifsapplications/projection/v1/DocumentClassesHandling.svc/DocClassSet?$select=DocClass,DocName&$format=json   Using basic authentication (Basic Auth).   The response I get is: {     "error": {         "code": "MI_METADATA_NOTFOUND",         "message": "Metadata not found."     } }   Any suggestions?   Thanks.   Br, Ole I. Remove read-only from pop-up window

I would like to remove the read-only setting on a specific field on a pop-up screen. (Call Center > Case > Handover Customer Order > Customer No). Would this be possible?

Company name for Crystal operational report?

Hi,I’m developing a Crystal Report for the customer invoice operational report based on CUSTOMER_ORDER_IVC_REP.  I can’t see the company name anywhere?  I can see the contract information and the company address.  Hopefully I’m missing something obvious, how do I get the company name for display on the invoice?I’m using Cloud 21R2.Thanks!

Automate password creation

Apps10 customer is automating a full IFS installation and wants a script to set the IFS users passwords. Many of them are not difficult using the Oracle_Account_API, but several need the change made also in the admin console:ifssysifsconnectdocvueticketuseranonymousand one that can only be changed in the admin console:ifsmonIs there a way to automate those calls? Default site in B2E - profile issue (IFS 9)

Hello everyone,from few months we are using B2E for our employees and we have one problem.Users are loging and doing some things on B2E, but when they logged out the last site is saving as default site.When they are login again, they see last site every time.Is it possible to make some homepage on B2E?We want to set always the same start homepage for users. Please let me know how to do it, is it some trick. After logout the last seeing page is saving in user profile as default.Thank you in advance for help.

Upgrade of Java in IFSAPP75

Hi All,Our IFS 7.5 application is bundled with java version 1.6.0_21. We are currently having some performance issue and have been advised that a higher version may help. Does anybody have experience on upgrading to any subversion within 1.6? (as I understand we can´t go above that on 7.5), is there anything we should consider before upgrading? Glad to hear experience and opinions. Thanks.

Creating a more "advanced" external search link

Hello, I have seen some topics about the external search link creation and found some helps trough the forum already (and the online help  External Search Development (ifs.com)). However I’m wondering if there is a solution to :search for multiple values on a single token. In example I would like to get the search result of part_catalog for two differents values of PART_NO.  use wildcard character? The help says not possible but if somebody found a way to do it...Regards

Using command to open files from an online file storage in Aurena

Hi,I am working with Aurena and need to add a command or some kind of hyperlink that opens a PDF file from an online storage drive . The problem is that the instruction navigate checks and opens only URLs that start with http:// or https:// and I need it to open a URL that starts with file:///. How do I customize a command so it will open a URL like that? Or do I have some other option to achieve this?

Cannot Connect Business Reporter to IFS Cloud

Hello Community,I was trying to connect IFS Business Reporter to the IFS cloud and I got the following error after entering the URL in Connect To field and clicking OK,in Connect To: field I entered https://<server_domain>:<port>  -Error with Port When I entered only https://<server_domain>/, without the port, then I got the following error -Error without entering Port​​​​​It is our internal training environment and I see invalid certificate also when I login to the IFS - I doubt if the IAM Client has something to do with this so I created the IAM Client also -IAM Client Setup We are on IFS Cloud 22R1 and have installed the Business reporter add-on from the IFS landing page only (using the MSI installer). Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Is setting of VPN profile static and will not to be any changed?

Hi, all.I am understanding that the destination information contained in the VPNProfile that is downloaded from the Build place and used to connect with Azure VPN Client is static and will NOT be changed.Is my understanding correct?I am asking this question to confirm that we can register a fixed FQDN for the connection destination in order to set up a network at the customer's environment.

Hi All, How would you encrypt secure info (passwords/Credit card details) in the database level?For example , if customer wants to store Credit Card details in IFS Applications, is there a way to do this? I guess this will be a customisation even if it is possible.

Cannot start local server with docker support in IFS Cloud 22R1
