Hello,I’ve been asked to grant permission to 6 users to our DEV environment.  I have one user who cannot access IFS DEV while the others don’t have any issues.  Credentials for all users are firstinitiallastname in CAPS for both username and password.  I confirmed the user is listed under our list of users.  The user’s status is set to active.  Users are instructed to log into DEV using specific credentials vs what their PROD credentials.  The DEV credentials do not work.  Is there any other way to test and correct this issue for this 1 user? Thank you. 

Hi all,Currently we are playing around with Aurena on tablets. Samsung Galaxy Tab A8Initially we started Aurena in browsers and we landed on Edge due to the ability to go full screen. Additionally when prompted to add media, the screen popped up with the option to select the camera or to browse folders. Truly amazing!Unfortunately this function does not seem to work anymore, after IT updated the tablets. I only see that this is Android 12 and a bunch of other versions of stuff I do not fully understand.Anyway, I was told in the newest version of Android Samsung has restricted media access (i.o.w. the camera does not open up when using Aurena). Could somebody help me to regain the previous functionality?Additionally could someone tell me if running Aurena this way is advised? Or is there a better/ more stable way?

I’m having a bizarre issue.  I’ve made edits to a .views file defining a particular view.  When I choose “Generate Code and Deploy,” the .apv file that gets created has lines of code that are out of order (I numbered the lines).  I’ve put the code in a text editor and there don’t seem to be any strange special characters or anything.  This one has me baffled.  Has this or anything similar ever happened to anyone else?

Hi, I have been struggling for several hours to try using this writeback function in business reporter, but the option still remains grey when i open my report …I am using information source “Project Forecast Item” that is initially setup by default to accept write back functionality, I have put some data in the forecast of my project and I can retrieve these data easily, I have added the write back cell and the mandatory reference cells, no error message, but still the option is grey… Of course i do have admin right on IFS.column G and H that are the ETC and ETA are properly fetched:

IFS Cloud Web Front End - Customer.pngHow is possible to see which SQL Table is used in that Form? I happen to know the answer to this particular question, it’s CUSTOMER_INFO_TAB:2. SQL Developer Oracle Query.png because it used to be easy to look at the IFS 8 Windows Form - System Info tab for which it tells me uses the CUSTOMER_INFO View and I can explode that to find the CUSTOMER_INFO_TAB Table:3. IFS8 Customer Windows Form - System Info.png How can I most easily find  which SQL Table is behind any Web Form I look at? Thank you in advance. 

Hello,I understand that Oracle ASFU licenses are Named Oracle enterprise edition. I have few queries related to this.How many instances can we create for IFS Instances. e.g Prod, Test, Dev, DR, New DR… Are optional packs - Performance and Tunning part of these licenses.  Can these be installed on VM/Hyperviser. - One Server having multiple VM’s and one of those VM’s are used for IFS Database. RAC, Data guard and Active Dataguard as I under stand are not part of the license and client has to buy it seprately.Kindly help in clarifing point 1,2 & 3Best RegardsPankaj

Hi,Is it possible to set up a NavigationLink Custom Command in Aurena so that it appears when ticking multiple records? When selecting more than one record the Custom Command disappears.We would like it so when you select multiple records, it navigates to the selected screen and loads all of the selected records. Much like the functionality of the standard IFS ‘Shop Order’ button on the Shop Orders screen above. Thank you.

Hi. Is there a way to disable the default F2 keyboard shortcut functionality (Populate)? We work with huge databases and often use F3 (Query), but one slip of the finger to the left can lock up IFS for many minutes when it tries to fetch the entire database (for example Overview - Transactions History). I know some users went as far as pulling the key from their keyboards 😀, but I’m looking for a more elegant solution.

I am trying to configure the mail sender in Cloud to a SMTP server.  I try sending a report preview to the user email address and in the Application Message out1 queue they are all in “Released” status. Anyone know why or have had a similar experience?  I thought they would either have  showed processing,  finished, or failed if the mail sender was not configured correctly.  TIA

Would it be possible to get complex/deep structures in one single ODATA call/response? A simple example would be getting an article from PartCatalog and its linked gtins (PartGtin). In the projection it is possible to use an array to get the PartGtin records, but to get both PartCatalog and PartGtin you need two rest calls.Can I model my projection in a way that I can get the full structure of both PartCatalog and PartGtin by only one call and one response. A similar case would be to get PurchaseOrder and all PurchaseOrderLines for one order, with just one call and one response.This is kind of convenient to use in integrations, when the requesting party want to receive the full structure with just one call

Starting IFS Cloud using standard permissions might result in an issue regarding access of certain objects. The log window does not help in this case as it is displaying no information. Only way is to check on the devtools of the browser As the information in the messages does not contain any helpful information. Is there an easier way to trace down issues with permissions while creating complex permission set structures? By now, this is the only known way for me, but it is a lot of investigation and searching for things.Any suggestions on that? Kind regards,Tobias

Dear community!Based on several issues after updates or imports of data or upgrades to another version or somewhere in between you might experience that the background jobs somehow came to a halt. No new jobs are posted even if the schedules are active.That might be due to the fact that the Database Process Batch_SYS.Process_Batch_Schedule_ is missing. It is not very easy to find the proper code to recreate this DB Process. Hi Docman/Migration gurus!This must be a rather commong question: How can we migrate a larger number of documents into IFS docman? In our case we have PDF contacts that we export from Salesforce along with a reference to the Contract object, which we want to migrate into IFS Cloud (on prem) and connect to the relebvant object. The object connection I guess is no big drama, but… how to get the files into IFS?/Tor@Mathias Dahl  I guess you might have some ideas? 

I’m getting the error “Error while serializing contents” when I attempt to create a new Customer address in one of our Remote nonproduction Cloud upgrade environments.I can’t reproduce this in our DEV environment hosted in the Cloud Build Place, built from the Customer Solution repository.Under Address Setup, I changed the CustomerInfoAddress in the Remote environment so no fields were mandatory, so it matches the CBP DEV environment. Hello everyone, I am working in a shipment module but when I was using IFS test and when I go to IFS production the menu option in customer order window is different than IFS test. somebody know how can I turn this  on or what I need to do to have the same menu.  I need create  new shipment, connect to open shipment in IFS production as I have in IFS test. see pictures below, please. 

In IFS Cloud, I added a custom attribute to the CustomerOrder entity to store date/time information. My custom attribute sits next to the standard attribute WantedDeliveryDate on the Customer Order screen.When I enter a value for the standard attribute, it is formatted as: 10/1/22, 10:41 AMWhen I enter a value for my custom attribute, it is formatted as: 2022-10-01T10:41:00ZHow can I get my custom attribute to display date and time in this format: 10/1/22, 10:41 AM?I checked my computer’s regional settings, but since the standard attribute displays correctly, I don’t think regional settings are the issue. Where can I supply a formatting mask for my custom attribute?I checked Page Designer on CustomerOrder but didn’t see a formatting property
