copy config field value to base filed in front page entry, like below page, yellow highlight is a config field, once it’s value selected, I want to copy it’s value to red(base madantory field) highlight from front page entry.
is it possible?

You might be able to achieve this with a Custom Event as mentioned above, but I am not sure whether the base field being a mandatory field would be a problem. However, this won’t show you the value in the base field as soon as you select the value in the custom field. It will be stored in the database and displayed when you save the record. If you need it to be like that, then I think it would require a customization.
