Delivery Note not printing

We are having issues with Some Customer Orders not printing Delivery Note.  On Customer Order Line History the system just seems to be going from Picked to Delivered but Delivery Note is actually getting printed .  The Documents to Print on Customer Order has Delivery Note box checked

Login Error While Integrating SSO (WIA) with IFS Application 9 which is Hosted in Linux

Hi All, Is there any customer that you have integrated the SSO (WIA) with IFS Application 9 which is hosted in a Linux server. Custom event. Enable custom action error

Hi all,IFS version is IFS Cloud 22R2.I have created custom event and custom action. I have an error when I try to enable an event action :Error occurred while processing the request: no processes deployed with key 'EventModValidation': processDefinition is nullI tried to use different event action types - Email Notification / Streams Message message.In both cases i was getting this same error.

IFS Cloud Remote installation pre-requisites

Hi All, Could anyone advise , what are the prerequisite to setup the IFS Cloud remote instance ?Like, what would be the VM specification, what are the ports need to be opened ?Any specific firewall rule we need to enabled to communicate with IFS inventory and any other setup. PS: I have gone through https://docs.ifs.com/But specific information is missing. Thanks

CRWeb Exporting report stream failed

Hi All,I’m working through getting our Crystal Web Report Services working. I have worked through https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/Foundation1/020_installation/400_installation_options/005_operational_reporting/110_configure_crystal_web_service/010_setup_cws/default.htmGeneral tests from the ‘Ifs_ReportServices.asmx’ are all working. The Crystal report can be previewed fine in Crystal Report Designer. When trying to run from IFS, IFS gives the error of “No PDF report returned from Crystal Web Service” and the log file shows. I have even tried without any sub-reports and receive the same errors. I am running the report from a Quick report and the base Part Number and Revision parameters are passed in the ‘Order Report’ window.

PLSQL REST Response Body not returned

I had a task to request via POST to a third party website and get the response back from the body.I tried this and expected the callback function to return back the body from the request, No, it returns the original BODY used to make the request, not the returned BODY. I really wish IFS would improve it’s REST based functionality, I had to write a C# program and run that on a windows event to perform the task. It would be much, neater if it could be done in PL/SQL. Actually, since this is a Connect based call, it would be awesome. The documentation on the callback function is poor, it was very difficult to find the one of 5 callback methods that apply to this call. MSMQ service on IFS Util server

Does IFS and especially the UTIL server use the MSMQ services fr anything?Apparently our UTIL server has a version running that has been flagged with potential vulnerability but we don’t know why it is running on that server and non of the others.Anyone know if this is part of IFS or if IFS even uses it?Thanks

IAL Error - Cannot convert JDBC type -101 to PlsqlType

HiI created a very simple IAL (Apps 9 SP11) with the following SQL...select * FROM DBA_SCHEDULER_JOBSThis view is SYS owned and is set as a public synonym. The view has been granted privs to SELECT to IFSINFO. The IAL is named MT_SYS_DBA_JOBSWhen I execute the following SQL from SQL Developer all is well…select * from IFSINFO.MT_SYS_DBA_JOBSYet, when I execute from a Quick Report or the SQL Query Tool I get this error…Cannot convert JDBC type -101 to PlsqlType Any ideas?

My ideas why BPA has such a steep learning curve

I've been trying to get some workflows up and running in IFS21R2.Followed the training videos in the Academy. I get the example running Tried to set a fields value using a process enrichment, got it running only when using hard coded keys, which is totally not what I want (they should be passed via the event). Also the value was hard coded. Tried to retrieve data and update that using java variable handling. Didn't get it to work I don't even try to think of anything with a loop instruction in the flow.From the training in the Academy only create information is handled.Nowhere is made clear how the information from the triggered record is passed into the Workflow.It is totally unclear, to me, which variables are available from the event in the Workflow (Do I perform a read? Is there a destinction between old:cost and new:cost values if I want to use those from the event? Is the internal key, it seems ETag, available to use? How to use that internal key?)The documentation and the Academ

Unexpected Server Error in Aurena when adding Material Lines to a Shop Order

Has anyone seen or can anyone help us to solve this strange error?Apps10 UPD9.We use Boomi to add Material Lines to a Shop Order and issue that material through the use of projections.We have a scenario where we have successfully added 18 Materials (18 lines) of one material and issued them, but when trying to create the 19th Material line for this same material an unexpected server error occurs - it doesn’t even create the line so it can never issue it.  All subsequent attempts to add material lines to the Shop Order also fails.  The material in question is not a problem - there is enough qty in the correct location etc.After the issue occurs we are able to use IEE to add more Material lines to the Shop Order without problem.  However if we then try to add a Material line in Aurena with Quantity 400 we get “Sorry there was an unexpected server error”.In the Boomi logs this error manifests as “Error message received from Http Server, Code 500: Internal Server Error”As a note, the 19th

Remove companies from database

My customer has an IFS75 environment which contains a number of companies. There are some companies that they have sold and they want the companies to be removed from the database. Anyone an idea or hint or thought on how to commence with this request? Regards, Steve

Report designer-Translatable Text

Hello Community,I added new fields in rdf and report files, they appear in report designer but I can't find them in (solution Manager==>Translation Development==>Translatable Text) to do the translation..Ing and .trs files are not automatically updated by developer studio with new data.I tried refreshing the server cache(Solution Manager==>System Information and Utilities==>Refresh Server Cache) but no result.How can we translate new fields in IFS please?Thank you.

Projection call is broken in IFS Cloud

Hello, The AddSourceLinesToShipment(Selection):String projection call for the projection SourceLinesAvailableForShipmentsHandling seems to need modifications done to it. It is currently not usable for a workflow, and when I try to call it, I get this error below. Anyone from IFS who can fix this, please do so. There is currently no other way to go about automating this process, the projection call is needed to add lines to shipments. Thank you,Bryan

Hi everybody,we have some events that send PDF files (invoice, customer order confirmation) to customers.Now we need some special information in the email. How can I get it in one of the pdf_parameters?For example I need the created date of a customer order.

IFS Cloud - what is "Service User"

when creating a user in IFS Cloud,for User-Type,  you can select End User / Service User for End User , I know it is a normal Aurena user with username / password.while, what is a “Serviec User”? what is used for? does it a dummy user for Intergration(eg: with Dell Boomi )?or it means an “After Service” user for matainix only? Thanks,

Culture is not supported error

Hi,  I am hoping somebody will be able to help me. One of our users reported this issue yesterday. When he opens IFS, he gets this error below. Even if he clicks Close, apparently it keeps popping back. We are on IFSAPP 9.  Did anyone had this before and know how could I fix it or cause of the error?  I have checked all his set up and looks fine.  Thank you for your help . Kind Regards  Kate

Customize the Home Page in Aurena

Is it at all possible to change the look, feel, or text of the Welcome to IFS Appliations! page in Aurena?  We have multiple environments (Test, Development, and Production).  It would be VERY helpful to have a visual difference to these screens so users can identify which system they are in.   Looking at the URL in and address bar is not always available.  For example, if you are using a Windows 11 webpage desktop app, there is no address bar visible.  We really need to have something to differentiate between environments!  Our old ERP system (25+ years old) had the ability to customize more than IFS...

Purpose of this variable
