Hi

When we click SSL pass through it dosent load the options. It works for SSL proxy, SSL Offloading and no load balancer. It seems to be a bug. Has anyone else had this issue?

Version: Apps: 10, UPD17

thanks

Gary

Hello Gary,

We are experiencing the same issue after applying a Middleware Delivery update.  We are on APPS10 UPD15.

Best regards

Hello Gary,

Was there a resolution to this issue?

Hi Mark,

this was meant be be fixed in UPD17 but unfortunately we still have the issue. I believe IFS are still working on a fix.

Hello Gary,

I have created a case as well.   Good luck!

Hi

If you installed the IFS Home with option ‘SSL Passthrough’ then you cannot change the options in it (staring from UPD 16 or 17). This was a quick fix until we fix an issue in change password process, which will be available in an update soon. It will still allow you to change the system access setup option (ie if you want to choose another button) and configure the system accordingly. If you are trying to change the system passwords, please use the change password script available in instance bin folder.

thank you.

Sorry I meant to say an issue in certificate update process.

=>This was a quick fix until we fix an issue in update certificate process.

thank you.

Hello,

I use SSL Passthrough to change the port on the URL to 443 when applying deliveries or reconfiguring the instance. With the inability to access SSL Passthrough can the URL still be maintained?

Sincerely.

  Mark

Hi

yes, all the previous configurations must be preserved when you apply a delivery or reconfigure unless:

  • you changed it during reconfigure or
  • if the BP changed any parameter as a part of a bug fix.

if you experienced the URL reverting back (to something other than the one you had set) please report an issue.

Hello uppekk,

Our certificate will be expiring at the end of this month.  I the past we used SSL Passthrough to update to the new certificate.  What is the work around for updating to a new certificate?

Sincerely,

Mark

Hi,

You will use the update_http_certificates.cmd/.sh in your instance/bin folder.

https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/foundation1/020_installation/020_installing_fresh_system/040_installing_ifs_applications/030_deploy_middle_tier/hidden_itd/280_change_certificates.htm

Hi uppelk, Do you know exactly which UPDATE fixes this issue?

Hi It is not planned for any release yet.

/Upul

Hi Upul,

It seems SSO using customers in SSL passthrough, are facing 500 error while trying to access over Admin Gateway after latest SSL certificate update. Following has been already attempted but issue persist. Appreciate if there are any comments for possible workaround.

- update_http_certificates.cmd
- rollover Certificate
- apply cert in no load-balancer, then to ssl passthrough

Best Regards,
Binu

@uppelk
Has this issue been fixed?
A similar issue has been raised by another customer.

This issue is corrected now and will be available in April BP. It will not allow you to modify certificates through reconfiguration, you will use the provided script for that. But other options in the form may be modified.
