Good dayPlease see the above pictures for the resource duplication. During team setup, the team member’s Resource ID was changed. The user was not deleted in either FSM or PSO when the Resource ID was changed. Now the user shows up in PSO with both the old and the new Resource ID. Tasks does not get scheduled to the old Resource ID, but they both show in the Resource planner and the PSO Schedule board. Is there a way to prevent this duplication, or will it be a manual process of removing the old resource from the Team in FSM, as well as removing the old resource from PSO and the resource planner?
HiI am trying to use the Stock Min Max function in FSM to automatically set the Min Max levels based on usage.When setting one months usage on one part line as a test, the part usage returned does not match the part transaction usage therefore giving incorrect results.Criteria used is a follows: The Min / Max usage is returned as 656 units:Yet the Part transactions for one month only totals 61 which is what i would expect. Can someone please explain why this is as it makes no sense. Is it a bug?
In the UI Designer, how can i make a field default to the value of another field. i.e. on the Project Screen i want field PERSON_ID_OWNER to default to CREATED_BY, i have putting the field path in the default value field but it just prints the path and not the value? its important that it populates as soon as they hit the ‘New’ button so that they onlty need to change it if it needs to be a different value

Is there any documentation about how to use XML_MESSAGE, VALIDATION_XML_MESSAGE, VALID_IF_FOUND and ALTERNATE_XML_MESSAGE?I have written some simple rules using only XML_MESSAGE, but If I wanted to use the other fields how do they work. My First question would be Does the VALIDATION XML run before or after XML MESSAGE?When does the ALTERNATE XML run?How do I use VALID_IF_FOUND? I’m Working in FSM 6.5Thanks!

HI,We have an issue related to a customer environment that it gives the below error for a particular user when login to the FSM Smart Client. They installed FSM from their Software Centre. FSM is installed to users pc:However, user does not still have access to FSM environment, therefore FSM will display following error message:NOTE: <<customer» is using SSO as well. User does not have still access to log in FSMThe user even cant close the pop-up window by clicking the « Close » button.They have to kill the task from the « Task Manager ». To close the this error.This issue is only in the Smart Client and not for the Web Client and that user can login to web client without any error.What are the differences of the SSO login mechanisms of FSM Smart Client and Web Client?Can anyone help?Best Regards-Kelum

How much control is there when deciding when real-time travel data from Tom Tom is used? On My IFS it says “The times from this cannot be used for scheduling because it is relatively slow. However they can be used when work is committed in the schedule and therefore fixed. This improves the travel time estimated and also the accuracy of the following schedule. “ Is there any way that this data can be used for scheduling? For example, can this data be used only for urgent tasks to get the most realistic travel time estimates that are used for scheduled and choosing the correct resource?

Hi everyone, We have a client with a FSM-PSO solution, and one of the requirements is to manage crews that are created and planned by them. We are aware that in FSM, more specifically in the task record, it is possible to use the field “Crew Size” to identify how many elements are needed to close the task. Does anyone know how to handle these requirements within FSM-PSO? We understand that there some limitations regarding integrations between FSM-PSO and we would like to know if anyone has some tips to handle this requirement following IFS best practices. I want to change the colouring of tasks in the Schedule Board based on the Task Type. I have set this up in the Color Settings screen, and this is working as expected in the Smart Client.
