Hi all, when having one Request with multiple Request Scopes, it is only possible in the Cost and Sales view to display one Request Scope at a time. Even if more than one Scope is selected, only the first one selected is displayed in the Sales and Cost Lines. This makes it very cumbersome to create an invoice, as all individual sales lines need to be included/excluded and the Cost Lines need to be approved. In the Work Task Sales and Work Task Transactions this can be done in one go (more or less). Is there a way to do that, implement it in the Request - Cost and Sales view?
Hi all, I am looking to try to understand the relationship between the due date, planned start and finish dates. The system seems to be set up in a way that the Planned start date matches the due date, then adds the task duration to create the planned finish date. This seems counterintuitive; to me, the due date is the target completion date and time. For example, if a task is planned to take 7 days to complete, the system is then set up to plan to complete the task a week after it is due. To me, the planned start should be the due date minus the expected task duration - So in the above example, the planned start would be set 7 days earlier than the due date, ensuring the task is completed on the due date, not after. Anything with a fixed validity period or something that is certificated - say, lifting equipment or a pressure relief valve cannot be left in service beyond the certification date (which should be the due date?) - so for efficient operations, we should be planning

Hi, I am working in IFS Cloud 25R2. What I want to be able to do is set a resources start and end location for scheduling. I can create a visit address on a person record and it appears but only if the person is not protected. In previous versions of IFS it was possible to have the person as protected but only addresses flagged against the “Home” address type were protected. Is this no longer the case or is there a bug in the system?Has anybody been able to configure a visit address for scheduling whilst maintaining non visibility of a personal home address in the person record? Thanks
Hi All,We are currently configuring a basic FSM Service Management setup in our 25.2.4 environment and have run into an issue during mobile initialization.Scenario:Service Request is created successfully Transfer a work task to mobile When logging into the mobile device/application, it does not get past the initialization phaseWe tested this using:Active Directory user Standard/non-AD userHas anyone experienced a similar issue in FSM mobile initialization? Any guidance or known fixes would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Hi,When IFS Cloud sends an outgoing message to a 3rd party system, an Application Message is generated which contains an External Message ID identifier. This is a GUID which we believe is generated by IFS:Can someone advise me when this is created? Is it when the application message is first created? If so, can it be added to the outgoing payload either as a parameter or a header on that message? We would like to catch this ID and store it somewhere so that, should the message need to be replayed (due to a failure for example), then we have a method of finding it easily and resending it via standard IFS Connect. Thanks
Would there ba any issue using a forwards in compny ID’s or customer ID’s this is to concatenate detail from an integrated system
Hi,Few weeks back I was able to insert the Dataset in the Delivery unit in Service Org screen but when I am trying to use the same job and same input file, the dataset are not importing. What I Investigated is, table Service_Organization is not storing the datasets field now, but earlier it was there. Not sure if IFS has made some changes, can anyone confirm what needs to be checked?thanks in advance.
In Wise, while trying to load the Resource Data. getting this below error, can anyone suggest on this ?
25R1 version!Issue Observed on work tasks:While assigning work, the Allocations / Direct Allocations section did not show the full list of resources. The “Apply Constraints” toggle was disabled to check if it affected visibility. Even after disabling it, resources from other resource groups were still not displayed. Under Allocations Tab:In 24R1 Release: I was able to see all resources list under the allocations tab upon disabling the ‘Apply Constraints’ button. Whereas, in 25R1 version, even after disabling the toggle button, only the resources listed under the specific resource group/demand were displayed.Under the Direct Allocations tab:The resource list is empty. Not even a single resource id was displayed. So, currently, i cannot assign any specific resources to the work tasks and unable to transfer them to MWO.Has anyone else run into the same behavior or noticed similar missing resources?!--Any guidance or suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi,Can anyone tell me how IFS FSM6 utilizes file versioning? Are there any standard practices for purging old or dated versions? Are there any issues with purging these versions? Thanks for the support.
Hi All,I have been exploring the new Contractor Management solution in 25R1 for Request Tasks. I like the idea of creating the PO Lines based on actual reported items like time reported of the contractor. There are multiple customers who have modifications for that in the Work Order solution. But I am supprised to see that in the Release Notes there is a restriction. Which makes it not possible to send the Request Task to the mobile of the Subcontractor Resource...Mobile Work Order for Service Contractor Resources. It is not possible to utilize Mobile Work Order for Service Contractor Resources. Any Request Work Task that is assigned to a Service Contractor cannot be transferred to mobile. I am looking for the reason why this restriction is build in?I have customers who wants to have both their own employees and subcontractors to work with the same mobile Service MWO Solution. But that is not possible for subcontracted orders, as described in the Release Restrictions and by my own test

We defined a Calendar for Service techs based on Work Day Type from 8 to 12 and from 13 to 17. In case a service technician on an Assignment “Start Work” out of those period of time is there a constraint or not? I ask the question because back in time I experienced a constraint not to be able to “Start Work”
