FSM Business Rule Error: Cannot exceed more than 100 nested business rules..

We're currently updating and deleting records in bulk using a business rule. It works fine with around 100 records, but we encounter problems when processing larger batches, such as 400 records. Not all records are updated or deleted correctly.The error message we’re seeing in the log is:"Error: Cannot exceed more than 100 nested business rules. Check for recursive business processes."Is there a way to adjust the business rule so it can handle larger batches of records?

A user cannot use the default mobile design

Hi,we have several mobile designs. A design is setup as default design. A user cannot use the default design. User always sees this screen using the default design. (Without of with setup in Design\Users). Using different mobile devices and different OS (android, iOS), the issue always exists for this user. When the user is connected connected to other design, the mobile screen works properly. Other users don’t have the issue. Any idea why this user experiences it? ~Juni

Schedule Status in FSM

Hi,Using FSM6U13, PSO 6.7.0.30We are currently having some issues understanding the schedule status in FSM. On the task, as my understanding, the scheduling status should be changed based on the status in PSO. However, we are currently experiencing a lot of the tasks that are open have no scheduling status in the task table. Is there any smart way to troubleshoot this particular issue?

How to edit configuration in repair work order

In Apps9 Repair Work Orders, there is an option to edit the configuration of the part serial record associated with the work order object (see screen capture below). Does this capability exist in Cloud? Business CaseA customer has equipment to be repaired. A customer order is created that will be used to deliver the repaired equipment to the customer. The customer order line for the part has a config ID of 5555. A repair work order is created with the serial object to be repaired. The part serial record associated with serial object has a config ID of 2222. After the repair, the part serial config ID needs to be updated to config ID 5555 so it can be reserved and picked for the customer order line and then delivered.The repair work order in Apps9 allows the configuration to be edited. I’m looking for a way to do this in Cloud.

FSM6 - UPS integration design document

Can anyone share the FSM - UPS integration design document? FSM6 has a standard connector to UPS, but I can't find any documentation of it. A customer requested this documentation this week. Likely, such a document got released with an older FSM release.

User Permssions/Groups in PSO vaish after upgrade

Hi all We have a customer using FSM (6.22 build 8362) and PSO (6.10.0.13). Previous to upgrading they could see the group the user was a member of, however it appears that during the upgrade Admin group has been dissociated form the users but weirdly they kept the admin rights. This is the same for viewable datasets, The solution used was to add 'viewAllDataSets' permission to the default set which seems to work. Still, the sudden change without any traceable mention in the change log is worrying - same applies to Admin groups removal. Is there a known bug that could cause this change during the upgrade ?Thanks for your help Keith

Open Requests at Place Popup - Adding a Field

Is it possible to add a column to the “Open Requests at Place” popup that fires on the Request screen after entering a place_id? We want to add Request Type to the below. Looking in UI Designer I though this was the “OPENREQUESTSFORPLACELOOKUP” screen however it appears that is not the case. Is the screen in the screenshot modifiable?Thanks,Barry

Assistance Needed with FSM Mobility App Sending Incorrect Time for Location_as_of Field (GPS Fix)

Issue Description:The customer has encountered an issue where the FSM Mobility app/Windows mobile sends the local time instead of UTC to the server for the location_as_of field (related to GPS fix). This issue is causing problems, particularly when the GPS fix is sent with the wrong time, as it prevents users from receiving task allocations for the rest of the day.Example: A technician in Western Australia (UTC +8) sent a location_as_of value of 12:50:00, but the correct UTC time should have been 04:50:00. Due to this mismatch, PSO interprets the technician as unavailable for further task assignments.In some records in the above screenshot, you may notice that the value of location_as_of (the first column without a column name) has a significant time difference of over 8 hours compared to created_dttm and modified_dttm. FSM Time Clock

To Preface: We use two different task status’: one to represent that the task is completed and the request is completed. Another to represent that there is still work to be done on the request, so the task gets “rescheduled,” and a new “follow up” task gets created. The Request remains Open until the last task is completed. The work on the rescheduled task is essentially completed. Currently we have a time clock BR that does a perform time clock event generation when the task status changes. Also, side note: there is a value BR (before update) that will change the Completed task status to Reschedule if it needs to be rescheduled.It appears that the time clock rule can only evaluate one Stop Action. Question 1: Does the time clock rule only evaluate and use the first Stop Action even if the value that we define doesn’t match the task status?Please see pics 1 & 2 below to see the result of a Rescheduled Task. Fortunately the total labor time is calculated and still gets created even

Rental Management - Generate Rental Transections

Hi, We are using rental functionality of IFS Cloud. When we generate the rental transections, UOM comes as Hours. What setup is required to see that the UOM on Cost and Sales lines should be Day not Hours. For Example: We commissioned (Start Rental) a Tool on 23-09-2024 13:00 PM and decommissioned (End Rental) on 23-09-2024 18:00 PMNow we generate the rental transection, the UOM on Cost & Sales line for different scenarios will be as follow: (Period Rounding - None) : UOM - 5(Period Rounding - Daily Rounding) : UOM - 24 ( 24 Hr = 1Day) For 2nd Scenario, I need the UOM as 1 not 24. Am I missing on some setup or how we can achieve.

Canadian time zones removed PSO 6.13

We have noticed that since updating PSO to 6.13.0.9, we are no longer seeing Canadian time zones anywhere in PSO.Have they been removed?Could there have been a step missed in the update process that left these out?A couple of Canadian provinces have unique time zones that would not be replicated in the US (Saskatchewan & Newfoundland for example)

FSM To PSO integration

We are trying to setup FSM server and PSO server on two separate domains. FSM is on prem and PSO engine is on Cloud. We are trying to create connections using a middle layer (Mulesoft). Can we get some expert advice on what configurations need to change both in FSM and PSO to be able to talk through Mulesoft. (The PSO user credentials are saved in FSM sever). (Both for sending dataload and receiving the broadcast)It is really urgent. A response would be appreciated.(Currently the FSM/PSO on prem is configured and works well). However, the PSO is now being moved to Cloud.

FSM Integration Schedules - Manually reset 'Next Run'

For some reason in our non-prod environment, the integration schedules stopped running two days ago and the next run date was set to be 2 days in the future. We have also seen this happen following a shutdown/restart of the server after maintenance. Is there a way to adjust these manually? There is no adjustment in the configuration screens nor does restarting the Monitor Service does fix the issue.

Configurations Lost after RU/SU

Hello everyone, I've been facing a big problem for some time and I would like your help, maybe we can find a solution.I have made some changes in IFS Cloud (24 R1) such as: creating custom fields, changing some field names according to customer requirements, hiding/deleting some fields etc. Each time a release/service update takes place, these changes are lost and the system reverts to the standard version.Also, if in a new release, the interface of an IFS Cloud page changes its appearance by rearranging fields/windows, introducing a new design, all changes made on that page are lost.So far, every time this happens, I have to make all the necessary changes manually over and over again.I need to find a solution so that all existing changes are not lost in the future.Has anyone else experienced this? Pause and Resume Scheduled Processes

We are looking to create a quiet period in the application (FSM6u25) during which daily database jobs can be allowed to run without interfering with or being interfered by scheduled FSM processes. Is there a native way in the application to pause all scheduled processes at, for example, 12:30a and resume at 4:00a to allow for the db indexing and back-ups to take place?Thanks,Richard
