Barrier impacting HTM travel

I have a placed Barrier along the River Thames, this is journey times that under the HTM travel, wont cross the river. For the below example, it has added the additional travel between the start location and the first job, despite the actual route not crossing the barrier

Any ideas how I can stop this happening?

What do you mean by “ it has added the additional travel between the start location and the first job”? And how does your travel barrier look like?
