Hi, Does the new MWO app exist on Android or iOS? I can see the new MWO app that’s compatible with Cloud and NGSM (Request) in the Windows store but can’t find this app on my phone. ThanksTom https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9mtcnq350fj3?hl=en-GB&gl=US
Is it possible to search on Service Groups in FSM beyond level A?We have our service regions in Org Service Group B in Place as shown below. However when you put the Org Service Group B field on the search pane on the Place screen and try to use it the dropdown displays a small black vertical line only as shown below. It should display the active Grp Level B values form the code table below. What I did notice is tha if you place Org Service Group A on the search, the dropdown displays all active code values regardless of group level. So I can select “Scotland” for example, which is a Group B level however the search returns no results given the application is searching Org Service Group A for a value that is held in Org Service Group B So it would appear that searching for anything other than level A is not supported - unless there is a workaround.I hope that makes sense. Thanks,Barry
HI ,Could you please advise on how to connect a PO with a service request in cloud. Many ThanksLK
hiHow to delete the work clocking? I saw the delete button is available for some clockings but not for all. Ex. for task 8 below, the option does not come.
Hello Experts, when the customer try to open the PSO web client: They get the following error400 Bad RequestRequest Header Or Cookie Too Large The users get the error every time they try to open the client, but using the browser in private mode prevents it from happening. Not all users are affected, unfortunately we do not see a pattern which users are affected and which are not.The PSO version is 6.9.0.25 and they are running on an on premise environment.Clearing the browser cache does not solve the issue. Any thoughts? or Any suggestions of approach?ThanksKalpa
Hi Experts,Is there a way we can move a Commited activity scheduled in PSO? I created Task 1267 as shown below and its commited to an enginner. Then Created an urgent task here 1269 with high base value that the same enginner must do then set a dependacy as well so that this urgent Task should be executed first to the same engineer. But in PSO I can below message in the explanation and PSO here not moving this Commited task 1267 so that it can schedule 1269!Is there a way we can force PSO move this first activity? Thanks,KM
Hi, I am looking in 25R1 and I do not see the ability to print off the details of a Request - Work Task. Am I missing anything or is that functionality not there? Thanks,George.
Hello everyone,We have implemented a unified interface, CreateUpdateTask, which supports both insert and update operations. In certain scenarios, external systems may still retain old FSM Task IDs. When a task has already been archived, these systems might attempt to perform an update by submitting an XML request containing the archived task_id. The current behavior results in the creation of a new task record with the same task_id. This is undesirable, as the referenced task_id is no longer present in the active (live) schema. The expected behavior in this case is to reject the request and raise an error. Is it possible to enforce this validation strictly through configuration, rather than implementing custom logic? Except for that, the newly created task will not be archived since there is another task with the same keys in the archive tables.
Hi Experts,There is a requirement to create a new Row when user clicks on the ‘Restart’ button as below. I tried to achieve this using the below Client script code. CurrentScheduleType, currentScheduleRule, currentTaskTemplateId, startDate and productID values were taken from different logics and they were working fine. But I am currently facing an issue with the product_pm_id. My assumption was this field should populate (as a next sequence) when executing the addRowToFormDataList function. But as you can see, it is not populating any field value for product_pm_id. var newRow = { product_pm_id: '', pm_schedule_type: currentScheduleType, pm_schedule_rule: currentScheduleRule, task_template_id: currentTaskTemplateID, coverage_start_dt: startDate, product_id: productID }; addRowToFormDataList(dataList, newRow, true);Any suggestions are highly appreciated. Thanks,Hasara
Hi,I am not getting any data when I am running this query in IFS DB:SELECT * FROM JT_TASK_LIGHT_UIV WHERE Srv_Req_ID = '607';But I am getting the data when I am using the same query in quick Reports in IFS CLOUD.Any idea what could be the issue? Thanks in advance.
Service management > Installed base> Service object When an inventory part set as Serial maintenance aware, it is available in Service object, where the operational status is set as Non Applicable. Even after issuing that part from the request work task, and added the location, it is not possible to change the status In operation. there is an option in Make maintenance aware, but there is no edit option to change the place serial in facility toggle.
We have recently upgraded to a version of PSO, 6.14, that uses the Restful Gateway instead of SOAP. In our prior set-up, 4x I/O or Services servers, we only had the Travel Analyser installed on one of the four I/O servers. However, it’s highly memory intensive on the single server and we would like to distribute the load if possible. So my question is - Can the Travel Analyser be installed on multiple I/O servers? Thanks in advanceOwen
Dears,Iam trying to add customized Scheduling exception on the PSO(6.13), by using id >999, but I cannot see any Exception type data from the drop list. How we can associate these rules to real exceptions?Where and how should i configure to trigger this exception.? Thanks//
HiWe are using IFS Cloud for Service Management connected to IFS PSO 6.15. I am currently trying to run a simulation of a day of service using the OSV functionality. I have successfully created the activity data to replicate the time slots for appointments used for work in the simulation. The problem arises that the shift defaults to a 9am start and the start of the simulation is from 08:50, but the first appointment starts at 8am.My question is if this time can be adjusted to cover the time period I’m looking to replicate in this scenario? My only alternative I can think of is to move all appointment slots back 1hr (so the earliest starts at 9am) and then extend the shift back 1hr using an overtime at the same cost as the regular shift. Thanks
Hello All,While installing FSM on premise for HTTP (clarification, we setup 443 on HTTP and 8443 for HTTPS)We are getting error port number does not match with configuration site bindings. Please specify a valid port number. Our Bindings looks like this: So far we tried, changing HTTP back to 80 followed by IISRESET and setting up streaming Endpoint also to 80, 443 etc but the error remains same.In general, what are the guidelines to setup FSM application on HTTP?
When I try to allocate/Assign a person to a work task from the prepare work order window (Assign multiple Task > Type Resource > Select Resource from Drop down> Click on OK) at times it get below error message (picture 1) which results in below assignment without a resource tied to it (picture 2) – that cannot be used and need to be cancelled. This happens intermittently and doing the exact same (typing the same letter, pressing the same resource) works 1 minute after.Pic 1:Pic 2:
Hello Community,I am experiencing an issue when trying to log in to the IFS Field Service Management (FSM) Smart Client on my Windows laptop.Steps to reproduce: Open Start Menu → Search for FSM. Launch the FSM application. Enter Person ID and Password, then click Login. A login window appears, but after submitting credentials I receive an error: "The requested operation could not be completed due to a file system limitation." Clicking on Details shows a log with technical information (I can provide a screenshot or full text if needed). My environment: Device: LAP-1023-01 (x64-based) Processor: Intel Core i5-1235U (12th Gen, 1.3 GHz) RAM: 16 GB OS: Windows 11 Pro, Version 24H2, Build 26100.6584 Installed: 17 Sept 2025 FSM Client: Smart Client (latest available version) Problem:The login fails every time on this laptop. The same FSM user account works fine on other machines (both Smart Client and Web Client). The issue only started after upgrading to Windows 11 Pro 24
Hello Community! I have a question regarding the sorting of the event log. On the Work Order and Work Task, the event log is listed under the attachments. You would expect that the first event log on the Work Order/Task appears at the bottom and the most recent one at the top. However, as you can see in the image below, the event logs don’t seem to follow any logical order. Is there a way to determine how this list is currently being sorted, or whether we can define the sorting ourselves? I understand that the attachment is a framework object, so unlike other client objects, we cannot apply sorting directly from the page designer. In my view, the event log should ideally be sorted by sequence or by date/time created. I’m aware of the dedicated Work Order Event Log page where sorting is possible, but this does not fully address the need. Thanks in advance for any insights!
Hi Experts, I need to create a JSON array in an FSM Outbound Integration. I followed this article, which was helpful.FSM Outbound Maps - Always use the Json array for specific entitiesHowever, this method somehow includes the JSON root element in the outbound payload. I have already set 'Omit JSON Root' in the details section, but the root element is still present. Is there another way to remove it?Here is sample outbound payload -{ "part_need": { "sequence": "1134395", "wCode": "CC", "priority": "1", "tCode": "", "part_need_tasks": [ { "pCode": "40103-1001", "bCode": "40103-1001", "orderNumber": "1542692", "orderLineNumber": "1175305.0000000000" } ] }} I need the output without the top “part_need” element. My current map settings are quite simple and configured as follows: I have tried the following 3 JSON data connectors - Basic/Standard:Metrix.Integration.JSONOutboundConnectorAdvanced:Metrix.Integration.Integration.DataConne
Hi Community, Does the FSM Baseline App support barcode scanning on Android devices? If so, which version of the app introduced this feature? Thanks in advance for your help!
Company schedules technician work in PSO. At times technicians who have active shifts in rota are doing deliveries instead of tech work. Would like to filter or colour/color scheduling Gantt or do something visual in the Gantt in PSO for shifts when tech is driving a delivery truck in order to know that the tech is not doing tech work those days. Truck types are skills in our application, and truck skills are associated with either tech or delivery work, but don’t see any way to filter on skills? Viewing the scheduling XML one can see Resource_Skill and Activity_Skill, but can’t filter? Appreciate any guidance, thanks. Using PSO 6.15.0.46.
IFSCloud 23R2Currently we are using Dispatch Console for day to day Resource and Work Task Activities. We see there is one key difference in Dispatch Console and PSO ie PSO does not show Inactive resource as expected ie Scheduling Resource(InActive), However Dispatch console does not consider this and will always show all resources regardless of Active/Inactive. This is causing issue for dispatcher, as it is hard to manage resource without any filter and this behaviour and they often end up scheduling to InActive resources during manual scheduling. Can you please advise how are other customers dealing with this behaviour, is this normal behaviour or environment issue at our end? How can we limit Dispatch Console to show valid Active resources only. Thank you
Hi there, Is there any way to change the view in Dispatch console for a specific task, to the actual start and finish of the work task, when a job has been done?In this example, the technician has started the travel of a work task in MWO, then realized this was a job for another day, so he put it on pauze, and restarted it a couple of days later.Maybe this is where it went wrong, but then what is the best way to handle this from MWO?Now in Dispatch Console, it looks like he has worked multiple days on this, which is not very easy for planning… (see attachments)
Hi,It is possible that PSO takes into account the stock of a resource before allocating the activity? Please take into account the fact that data comes from IFS Cloud, it is an integration between PSO and IFS Cloud (FSM). At the moment I do not see the ,,parts" tab on the resource, in PSO.Thank you in advance!Best Reagrds,Miruna
Can we add IFS MWO service classic app in application like simulation-Android studio application so that it will looks like mobile?
