Working from Home Tip: How to Improve Your Community On Screen Experience

It could be that some people, working from home, does not have a big nice screen, and especially not multiple screens as some have at work. Some are surely working on their laptops. Something that is important then is “screen real estate.” Here is how to remove “cruft” on the screen, and how to enable full-screen mode. Enable full-screen mode by pressing F11. By default, the menu bar is hidden (which is good if you have little room on the screen). Press and release the Alt key to show it. Keep the IFS navigator hidden, and use the shortcut panel instead. Learn the keyboard shortcut Shift+Ctrl+F to show and focus the navigator filter. (press Escape to close it again) Show and hide the Attachments section using Ctrl+2 (the other context panels can be opened and closed using the numbers 1 and up.) In general, learn the standard keyboard shortcuts. If you are using a laptop, perhaps you have now mouse and are using the trackpad and the keyboard might be a more efficient alternative. Some f

Upload imagesYou can upload images from your pc to your post by clicking on the small photo icon in the text editor: All common file formats for images are supported (.png, .jpg, .gif)After a successful upload, you can either leave the image in the attachment, or you can choose to embed it into your post. To do so, simply enter it at the part of the post where you would like to have the image embedded. Grant permission by navigator / by page

Hi all,We are in the process of creating the permission sets for IFS Cloud. So far, we have distributed the projections via ‘PermissionSetNavigatorTree’. In addition, the projections with ‘Report’ in the title were assigned separately . Based on the information we have (or had), this should include all pages. However, we have now realised that various projects cannot be distributed via the navigatorTree. We estimate that there are about 1260 projections that are not assigned. These can be found on the ‘Manage Projection Grants By Page’ page and can be assigned. However, if this had to be done for each permission group, it would be an immense workload. Does anyone have experience with this problem or have we misinterpreted something? We are grateful for any information.

IFS Support access to Customer environments

IFS Cloud 24 R2 on IFS Cloud services. A customer are currently using SSO with Multi-Factor Authentication, and when IFS Support needs to assist with debugging in their environment, dedicated accounts must be created. This process is taking significant time, causing delays and frustration. The project is now in a critical phase, and any delays in addressing support cases could jeopardize the planned Go Live.Could you please advise how Unified Support typically handles this situation with other SSO customers, and if there are alternative secure approaches we can propose? i’m not community post below is relevant as it 5 years old and pre IFS Cloud

In 24r2 documentatiton, on the barcode page, it says you can simply drag and drop barcode element and bind data from field list to see barcode. However, I can't see the barcode icon in the toolbox.Barcodes - Technical Documentation For IFS Cloud Also in toolbox page in documentation, barcode icon cant be seen.
