Hi All,I have a requirement of Printing the IFS Logged in User ID & the Timestamp into the Word Document  while user trying to click on ‘View’ Operation at any of Word Document in IFS. This is to Track who and all have tried viewing the Document along with Time. I understand, it could be done using VB Script at Document Macro.  But, I am unable to print the value into Word Document during View Operation. My Need is:Need of VB Script for Printing Values into Word Document during View operation IFS Line of Code to retrieve values of User name and Time stamp during run timeExample:User Viewed: xxxxxxxTime: dd-mm-yyyy  hh:mm:ss Thanks for your Support

Hopefully an easy question to save me (and others) having to test this: Does CreateAndImportDocument.svc work with FTP repository or only database?

Getting Error “Invalid file name” when trying to save document using “Copy File To…”It is working when using another option “Original File Name” to download the file.Normally this happens when  file name includes invalid characters, but in this it is not the case. Even changing file name to a simple one does no resolve the issue.Any advice on how to resolve this?

From the right-click menu on the document revision screen, execute "File Operations" - "Print Document" to download the target file in the following directory　The directory set in the local checkout path + \tempIs there a way to print this file without downloading it?Or is there a way to delete the file immediately after printing?(The downloaded file is not needed since it is running for the purpose of printing. It would be difficult to manually delete the file each time it is printed.)

I have exhausted my searching and research into document management and cannot resolve this issue.I have a user setup that can attach and view their own attachments but not other user’s attachments.Both users are part of the document class group.  All documents have been approved.When I assign the user DOCMAN_ADMINISTRATOR, they can view the documents.  I have read the Document Access help page and it did not help. 

My customer has the following idea: prepare a sales contract in IFS, maybe prepare a base document revision using a macro in DocMan and next export the document to Teams. This allows a multitude of persons that have no access to IFS to update the document, expand it etc.Once ready the document will be checked in into IFS again.What would an efficient process be for this? Or maybe something automatic?

Repository is defined as shared and the status is set as generating. Now, when I try to manually check-in a document using document revision, I would get the following error. Yet, if I set the status as usable, files get checked-in to document revision without any error.  Shouldn’t the status generating correct value rather than usable? Are there any configuration to make? Further, when even files get check-in, they are not available on the file location. Yet I could view the document without any issue. Could someone elaborate this behavior as well?  Thank you! 

Dear IFS Community,To set up an interface we need to download the documents associated with a business object.No problem to do this with an End User , however, when we try to download a document with a Service User (user type = Service User) it does not work.Here is the message displayed :{"error":{"code":"ODATA_PROVIDER_ERROR","message":"An internal server error occurred. Contact administrator.","details":[{"code":"PROJECTION_IMPL_EXCEPTION","message":"Error when reading the file: You do not have view access to download this document."}]}}'The service user has all the accesses, like the end user with whom everything was ok.Did somebody have you ever seen this problem?

HelloWe have a couple of users who when using the RMB to perform Instant Authorization in the Posting Proposals screen have overnight come across an issue with the Preview section of the screen.  These users who previously could see the Preview section now cannot and the document being authorised now opens up in full screen mode in Adobe.IFS takes some time to open the document in full screen mode - the user then has to close the adobe screen, authorize the invoice(s) and then IFS once again re-opens the document in full screen mode.This change in behavior is really slowing down the authorization process for our users.Does anyone know why the Preview section of the screen is no longer available to the users and why all of a sudden these documents open up in Adobe full s

When a user is downloading a document maintained in the system in Document management, a few pieces of information should be printed/ attached to the document for example,           USER ID of the user who downloaded the document.           Timestamp: Document downloaded time.Is there any way to get this request fulfilled? This is achievable via document macros, but the problem is, the customer does not like to use a document template. Any thoughts on this?

When I press "Release" from the right-click menu "Status" on the document revision screen, the following message appears and I cannot release the document(IFS10). "Need object reference for document revision ([document class]-[document number]-[sheet]-[revision]). Check document title."Is it possible to make a document revision released without a object reference? 

How can I change local checkout path ?It is not automatically set, after first time of checking in/out the document, and it is not possible to change it in the User setting even if the user has document admin access.

Hi,We have set up a new report rule to get the PDF from our Project invoice print, check it in Document Management and attach it to the Project Invoice screen. It works really well if the Document Management repository is set to Database but we cannot get it to work if is FTP. We are in Apps10 UPD6.Has anyone got a report rule Check in Document Management to work with FTP or do you think it is a restriction from IFS?Many Thanks and Regards,Anne-Sophie

Hi All - Does any one know the way to download the attachments from a particular screen in Bulk ?

Hi,several customers who use Aurena client in Apps 10 or IFS Cloud ask for the old functionality to configure the attachment panel if it should show icons, lists or details. Of course it is possible to press the button ‘Document Revisions’ to see all the details of all attached documents.Is it on the roadmap for DocMan to offer a possibilty for getting the table view of all connected documents in the attachment panel? This should not be a big modification and would help all customers who have lot of documents attached.Best regardsHeinz

With WIP report being a moment in time report, can I schedule the report to run at a certain time and then have it email that report or put it in the report archive to print later?
