Hi, Is it possible to set item specific counting difference $ amount in IFS Aurena ?    Users doesn't want to approve each part line on counting report. They want to focus on specific part during approving of count report lines. Thank you for the help.

Hi all , Please help me to understand how the Demand forecast Reports  generated by the demand planning client is used in other  IFS modules . Is there other modules that automatically receive the forecast generated and where can I find it in IFS. For example where in IPR or MRP can I find the generated forecast used for further processes. Thanks Julius

HelloWhile creating Customer order we need to select Pre-posting window and  provide site details in it.I want to know What is pre-posting in IFS why it is used. RegardsDeepak

Hi all , Please how and where in IFS can I generate Inventory  Status Report and and Inventory  forecast list in IFS  for reporting purpose . Thanks Julius

Hi All,I’m looking for a stock/inventory overview screen much like MMBE in SAP for those who have used the system.Does IFS have this? I usually use “Inventory Part In Stock” to search for inventory but I would like to be able to see if there are any open purchase orders for the inventory at the same time. Is there a screen that will show me what’s in stock, Bin Location, Reserved Qty, Open Purchase orders etc??Thanks

Lets say i purchase 10 pcs of an article that are stocked but later 5 pcs of this article was found deviating, is it then possible to scrap these 5 pcs and link scrapped qty to purchase order and supplier so that they can be found in the quality statistic for this supplier, and can be calculated within the PPM figures for each month?(Tried to use NCR but it dosen’t work to link scrapped qty in stock to supplier so then the statistic becoms wrong, based on other topics it looks that we has to look into the MRB meny to get this function, or?)

using move inventory screen from site to site and every site in a different company,, an error appears at commit time:the value of inventory transaction may be not be zero (at destination site).note that site from has cost., using IFS10.why and how it can be solved?

I understand there is a process where you can close a PO if the part is within tolerance, but I am wondering if there is another method of closing in-receipted PO’s. Maybe by time frame?? Thanks

When we are creating a generic event action and event action for a particular user to send an e-mail with a PDF report, is there any rule on what event will be triggered first? Does the system prioritize the event action which has “user” over the generic event action?

Is it possible to schedule this routine in Apps 10? Best-Christy

We recently realised that when PO had change processed due to price increase and PO was updated to new price; receipts that were created prior to this change but not matched to an Invoice are updated to new price as well.Is there a setting anywhere so I can turn that off, we have issues where we order in bulk but the price changes and sometimes there is a lag between the goods arriving so we would need to receipt them at the old priice

I have a request from the AP team to have a pop-up message if particular suppliers are used in the manual supplier invoice entry screen. We have some suppliers who give settlement discounts, based on the type of invoice/product or service purchased so want to make sure the entry clerk follows those instructions. Is there any functionality in IFS that already does this? Am assuming at the moment, that I would need a custom logical unit which had the supplier identity and message required, and then an event would be needed that checks on the lu and if it finds an entry its displayed. Am hoping there is an easier way to achieve?

Hi,I have a report (OutsideOpDeliveryNoteRep.rdl) that get the information from a table that I can’t find in IFS just in SQL (outside_op_delivery_note_rep) is it possible to get a value from a table that the report does not use?

Can we add drawings (e.g. specification) in Parts so that we check them while raising Purchase Order and also send them along with Purchase Order to Supplier?

When You make an update in IFS through an excel, is it the possible to overwrite the currently filled value? e.g. We are working on an excel to update the Customs Stat No in the part number records in IFS. We plan to upload the excel in IFS and thereby update the Customs Stat No for all parts in IFS. For the new value from the excel to be updated on the Customs Stat No field in the Inventory Part, does that field has to be empty in IFS? Or can the excel’s Customs Stat No overwrite the old number?

Time is not of concern for us; therefore, can the display of Date columns be changed to only show the date and NOT the time?  Thanks in advance.

Hi,Currently i'm facing some problems to setup the Country of Origin functionality correct for a Customer of mine.Country of origin can be setup on Inventory Part and Supplier for Purchase Part. Only 1 Country of Origin can be filled at the Inventory Part and that information is then fetched to the Country of Origin of the Supplier for Purchase Part.No i'm with a question where i can't find the Best Practise from IFS perspective. How do i have to handle the Country of Origin in the Inventory Part when a specific part is always purchased at the same supplier, but it's produced in China, Taiwan, Indonesia for that Supplier. So the goods are delivered from the suppliers local warehouse in Europe to the demanding site in Europe, but that Supplier warehouse is supplied by the different factories in the different countries.(i can't define upfront where the goods will be produced when the order is placed to the supplier)How do i handle this in IFS, what is the best practise to setup the Country

Hi all, Business has requested a report of our stock on various locations as per 31-12-2020.Is this available and where in IFS can we extract such report?

Hi,We recently went live. I have a problem with a part, the UOM was set up incorrectly. This part is currently in stock, and has being transacted. I need to:create a new part with the correct UOM  transfer the inventory from the incorrectly created part to the new part and finally deal with the incorrectly created part, i.e. make it obsolete or phase out, what ever the correct process is. What I need is a clear process to do this. Can anyone help?

Hi, In our warehouse, the amount in stock is of a part is a number with decimals. The UoM of this part is PCS, which is defined as an integer. The decimals are caused by an invertion factor on the sales. The client order a volume, but we fill this volume with pieces. The client can order a non-rounded number, e.g. 2.4L, which then converts to 13.4 PCS (for example). However, we never ‘cut’ the pieces. In this case, we will supply 13 pieces. Or 14, that actually doesn’t matter that much. But how can we avoid that IFS displays the not-rounded number? Thank you!

Dear Team, Kindly support to fix issue as attached below:  Thanks in advance! Regards,Ashok

Hi, we need to replen a remote warehouse from a central site whilst still having it linked to a different PSO and maint org site. Can we do this without manually creating a transport task and using standard “refill all putaway zones” in warehouse navigator screen? In apps 9

I registered a internal direct delivery and now I want to return the material to internal supplier directly. I created a RMA with Returned to Supplier, correctly defined, then release it. But “Register Direct Return to Supplier” RMB is not getting enabled .
