Lets say i purchase 10 pcs of an article that are stocked but later 5 pcs of this article was found deviating, is it then possible to scrap these 5 pcs and link scrapped qty to purchase order and supplier so that they can be found in the quality statistic for this supplier, and can be calculated within the PPM figures for each month?

(Tried to use NCR but it dosen’t work to link scrapped qty in stock to supplier so then the statistic becoms wrong, based on other topics it looks that we has to look into the MRB meny to get this function, or?)

We have found that the initial inspection and the resulting supplier statistics can’t really be used for items found later to be defective.  Once the item has been invoiced, you can’t go back and update or created the inspection to tie back the defective material.  The MRB case is the next best place to document the defect and make a connection back to the supplier and PO.  We had to add some additional functions and make use of Financial Projects to make this all work nicely.  I’ve not found an out of the box IFS method to both gather statistics from initial inspection and delivery failures as well as later failures of the same item from the same supplier.
