I am trying to use non inventory parts to purchase requisitions from it but I want to  it automatically, there is any idea or steps or something that could help me with it. please

Can someone tell me how to add shortcuts to various IFS windows with customized icons? I think you know what I mean

 I have two users with the same EU_ROLES or access;  everything looks similar. However, one of them has access to see in the menu the option for Plan, Build, Retire, Cancel and Review and the the other user does not have the access to see them. What am I missing? We are using IFS9  

Hi Everyone.This scenario can be tested in App10 test LKP.The below price list is owned by Company 10 (Site “1” and “2” are created in company 10 as well).and the sales price is 32.00. And the Valid for site is “1”Customer uses “Send sales price list” (RMB feature) and add below details then press “ok” Then go to “Incoming Purchase Price Catalog” window and RMB> Approve the relevant record. Go to Supplier for purchase part and open the below records.Supplier - PL950Part No - ANGO008;PTA-PART4You can see the updated price list in both site 1 and 2 for both partsI set Valid for site as “1” but the price list details have been reflected in site “2” as well. The question is, when there is a supplier for purchase part record for multiple sites and  the price is updated from the price list, should this price be updated in all the sites (if the company is the same)If it is the functionality, is it possible to restrict this for a specific site? 

Can someone please elaborate us more on EOQ and how its linked for any Inventory part in IFS and all the relevant screens calculation steps and some live examples in brief.Want to know where each term in EOQ is defined inside IFS starting from Ordering cost till Holding Cost and all the costing methodsin depth for any inventory part.EOQ = sqrt[(2DC)/H]C: Ordering CostD: Demand/Annual consumptionH: Holding Cost Lastly Shortage and Back-order CostBoth Deterministic and Probabilistic Inventory models

Can anyone advise if it is possible to set a Default Shipment Location by Warehouse? I know you can set a default location by Site but I have a requirement to set it by Warehouse.

Why these TT lines are showing up in the order proposals? It doesn’t make sense. They are already here and reserved, why would the system think we need more.

In an Apps7.5 environment, when trying to open the Availability Planning window, this error is received:ActiveX object creation failed - please check that your installation is valid.Currently logged in as appowner. 

Please I need your help again. We are still working on the planning and the prototype Phase of our IFS deployment. Please help me to understand how to create Demand forecast for a list of existing Inventory parts in IFS Aurena . I understand how to do it for new inventory part but I don't know  how to navigate the SCREENS for creating forecast for existing Inventory Parts List.

Hi,We have set up dynamic quality control so that the arrival case is set based on how many receipts in a row that is without rejections. So we get IFS to decide if the order line should be inspected or not due to historical quality performance. (Receive into arrival or Receive into arrival, inspect at arrival). So far so good.  To fully benefit from this, we need the process to be automated:The second we have registered the arrival, I would like the label to be printed in a specific printer and the transport task to be generated and released. Rows with inspection should get a label or something that says it has to be inspected.so when we have registered the arrival, it should be clear where each pallet should go in the next step. How can we automate this?We use IFS 10.

Supplier can be changed for the No Part requisition line in Purchase requisition even the "Allow Changes after Authorization" check box is unchecked in Purchase Requisition Authorization Rule.I believe this is because the “Allow Changes after Authorization" is defined for Monetary values only. Should rule applicable for Non - Monetary values such as supplier details, etc.?  

HI,Can anyone elaborate on the purpose of Internal Destination?  This is the HELP info:Internal destinations are used when you receive material from your supplier and perform an internal distribution to the location where the parts are requested. We have created an ID and have added it to a Work Task.Created a Purchase Req and then a PO, and when we go to Register Arrival, we can see the Destination on the line. Is there something more to this functionality?  Are we missing a step? Thanks, Jo Kasper

We purchase a part from an OEM who always supplies 3 different physical items in a box.  When the box of 3 physical items arrives, we would like to receive 3 separate part numbers into stock, instead of receiving the “kit” part that we ordered from the OEM into stock.  If we try to purchase the 3 individual pieces from the OEM, they charge extra to break out each item into individual pieces.  We need to receive each item into stock individually because the pieces are components on different shop orders. Any Ideas?  Thanks in advance!

Hello, I need to block the purchase arrivals when Qty Arrival > Qty Order. For Purchase Orders with No-Part Order Lines.So far, I just found the Over Delivery Option in the Site or in Purchase Groups (Procurement Basic Data). However, the system only shows a warning message but allows me to receive. Is it possible to block? Thanks,Regards.

Hi , I am looking for the documentation on demand planning client and IFS connection ? Can anybody help me to connect IFS with demand planning client ? Demand planning is already installed on our server.

Earlier I had a question on how to receive a new lot batch with zero cost and @Lahiru Dissanayake clarified it through this post.  No problems there, his recommendation works for those parts.Now I tried to receive a set of parts with FIFO as the Inventory valuation Method and ‘Cost Per Part’ as the cost level.  I can receive them through ‘Receive Inventory Part’ in IFS and it reduces the total inventory cost as it averages it. That’s ok.  Now let’s say, I issue some of those parts. The Unit Cost and the total inventory value becomes zero.   Can you recommend a way to do that without total becoming zero please? 

Hello Community, I am currently using sandbox and still trying to understand how IPR process works in Aurena App 10. My questions is if I have interchangeable part (for example, Part A is interchangeable to Part B) how does Planning Method A & B will capture the order history, SSL, or Lot size?  Thank you in advance for helping.

We have to have separate responsiblities in supplier data between Purchasing dep (supplier data) and finance dep. (invoicing data) to make sure that no one can create a supplier without anyone else seeing it. Today we have a separate workflow in sharepoint so that Purchasing have to approve the changes and details finance enters.Is there any way to create a workflow for the entering of financial data on supplier so that purchasing dep. can approve the changes/data within IFS?What is that functionality called? Workflow? Thanks
